I was in town for business just a couple of blocks away from the Marriott. Unfortunately, this was during the CoVid-19 pandemic so many of the area amenities and attractions were not as accessible as would normally be the case. The hotel is showing its age, but it has been kept in good repair. And most of all, I found it very clean. My room was on the 5th floor, but during my entire stay, I never heard any noise from any of the surrounding rooms. It was wonderfully quiet. The heat A/C worked very well. The bath and shower were great with plenty of hot water. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The room doors are surprisingly narrow and I found it difficult to navigate a large suitcase through it while operating the electronic lock mechanism. The room fridge is very small and hidden away in the TV stand. The bathroom vanity was very small and not much counter top space. For a business stay, this hotel was just fine.

This past week, my husband and I stayed at the Elizabeth hotel. We were there for a few days and got to know the people at the front desk. In all the years I have traveled to hotels, I have never met a nicer group of people who work at this hotel. Tracie was amazing and we also had excellent communication with Lex, Zoe and Hannah. As far as the hotel itself, it was immaculate and clean in the rooms. Everything in the room was in excellent condition and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The ambiance of the place was great. Definitely go to the bar on the roof area. They had a great jazz musician performing and it was a fun evening. The hotel was also in a great location near old town so you could walk everywhere. I would 100 percent recommend this hotel and we plan on going back there too.

When traveling so much and staying in so many hotels, after awhile you think they're all the same essentially, but I was surprised to find this Hilton had a level of service above anything I have experienced and up with the finest hotels. There were so many little things like the fellow shoveling snow, making a path for us as we entered once he saw us park, and on another day a staff member coming toward us passing the elevator and pressing the call button in advance of our getting there correctly assuming our intent. These are the kinds of things that are above and beyond what you may experience elsewhere. All the rest of the things that can be said of this property are still true of course -- the good location and views, the nice rooms, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and executive lounge, and the like. My only minor quibble is that relatively speaking the bathrooms are quite small and cramped considering how large the rooms are otherwise. But, I'll be sure to overlook that for future stays when I have to be in Fort Collins for work.

I’m sorry to say this property was not up to Hampton Inn standards in my opinion. The property is old, they have tried to update, but definitely could use some improvements. 1. The exterior of the property, parking area and entry we were dirty with trash and debris. The elevator and hallways were in need of cleaning. 2. The hot tub was out of order. 3. There was mold in shower in our room. 4. The Bed was as hard as concrete. The the front desk associate was very nice and personable. The cookies and hot beverages were a nice touch. The Neutrogena amenities were nice as well. Overall, would stay at another property when visiting Fort Collins in the future.

We stayed here 5 nights while looking at property. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The refrigerator was full sized. There was a microwave, stove, hair dryer and cupboards were stocked with dishes, glasses, silverware, pots and pans. The coffee maker was motel room size, but free coffee is also available downstairs. If you want a tea kettle, rice cooker, full size coffee maker, blender, etc, they have a lending "library" of such items near the lobby. They do not have little sample sized shampoos, etc unless you buy them. The shower has shampoo, conditioner and body soap dispensers. The shower was hot and had great pressure. The service was good. If you wanted something, they took care of it. They do not have daily maid service, but you can request new sheets and towels. For the squeamish, it is good to know that there are two cell towers nearby. They do not serve breakfast since you can make it in your room. Across the street is a King Sooper that has all the groceries you might want and up the road is Lucky's which has almost all organic items. My only complaint (which is very minor) is that the placement of the couch precludes sitting on it to watch TV, so if there are two of you, one sits in the recliner and the other on the bed (or both on the bed). We had a DVR in our room that whined all night long, so we mentioned it and by the end of the day we had a new DVR that was perfectly quiet. That's service! We will definitely stay here again. Oh, and our room had great sunrise views.

The Holiday Inn Express in Fort Collins is an average new or newly renovated Holiday Inn Express. That is to say it's perfectly fine. However, there are some issues: 1) Basically no breakfast except sandwiches you have to heat in your room and yogurt. Pathetic. Other Holiday Inn Express hotels in Colorado are serving a full breakfast. 2) HVAC is old and not good. While there is a control panel on the wall it is also controllable in the unit itself. My HVAC was set to 80 degrees, which needless to say made the room incredibly hot. I turned it 67 and it never got below 72. 3) Despite being recently renovated the TVs are OLD. 2011. That's 9 years old. They are small, have a poor picture quality, and lack modern feature like smart TV. Also, there is no printed listing of channels, which makes finding the channel you want somewhat difficult. 4) The gym is very small. Only one treadmill. The one treadmill is older and not very good. Life Fitness or Matrix fitness equipment would be much better. Many newer Holiday Inn Express gyms feature these brands, which are better than Precor. Also, there is no digital scale to weigh yourself in the gym. 5) No newspapers. On the plus side, staff were friendly, the hotel and my room were mostly clean, and the room itself was comfortable. I might stay again, depending on the rate. But this is one of those chain hotels you'll forget ever staying at after checking out. That's not necessarily a bad thing.

My experience with this hotel has been beautiful. From the minute I stepped into my room I was happy and also my boys. One staff member that was always helpful was José. He helped us with our breakfast every morning the days we stayed and when the kids and I were swimming in the pool, I could see him working nonstop and cleaning the hotel. It felt very clean here. Definitely recommend anybody that is looking for a hotel in Fort Collins to stay here at this hotel.

We have stayed at hundreds of hotels over the last few years big and small. This is a very nice hotel. The positives: great location in quiet residential area, friendly and accommodating staff, clean property and room, ceiling fan over bed, guest laundry (though they need to replace the one front loader that is falling apart and keep on top of the laundry room cleaning), good parking lot, quick elevators, good room lighting, good water pressure in sink and shower, comfortable bed, clean linens and towels. The negatives: wifi keeps knocking you out, a/c doesn’t cool down the room very well. Bottom line-we would gladly stay here again.

We have stayed at this HGI for years. Its getting a little worn from constant and sometimes hard use. It amazes me how people gouge furniture, rip off wall paper, crack tiles and beat up...wait for it...light shades on the lamps. Unfortunately because of hard use, it needs another general upgrade to make it feel clean and fresh. Staff was great. Rooms larger than some of the brand new Hilton Group hotels. In spite of this general need to spruce it up again its basically clean if you look beyond the use-scars, the location is still very handy...near to the College and uptown, restaurants, a bank and coffee stores. And IMO it beats some of the lower tier hotel chains you find along that street.

Nicest motel I have ever stayed in!!! Our room was cleaned and sanitized with a seal on the door when we entered. Very important during COVID. Very quiet with comfortable beds. Beautifully decorated with lots of natural sunlight. We had a full-sized fridge, microwave, sink, dishwasher, dishes and utensils. Portable cooktop with skillets are available upon request free of charge. There is an abundance of drawers and shelf areas. Lovely pull-out couch and large sitting area. Breakfast was "grab and go" due to COVID. We stayed 3 nights and were so impressed! $129 per night plus taxes. Very reasonable to the spaciousness and quality. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this motel.
