First, the positives. The room was very nice, and the small kitchenette was perfect. But then, checking in was a complete disaster. Without an access code (which I was not sent!!!), nothing works. There's no reception or anyone to help. I had to call a hotline in Zurich that only spoke English. There might be people renting a hotel in Berlin who don't speak English, you know! This definitely needs to be improved, especially since you're standing in front of a locked hotel door, with luggage, just glad to have arrived, and then no one can help... After they finally sent me the room code, I still couldn't get into the room. The code only activates precisely at 3 PM. So I had to stand in front of the room for 30 minutes and wait, even though the room was ready. The room wasn't cleaned for 4 days, and the towels weren't changed. Also, check-out is disproportionately early. The room has to be vacated by 10 AM. The cleaning lady already knocked just before 10 AM. I think that's far too early. In short – the rooms are very nice, the location (5 minutes from Alexanderplatz) is great, but the service is a catastrophe...

The location is excellent and peaceful, as it's just a 5-minute walk from Alexanderplatz, where you can find bus, tram, metro, and train lines to reach every corner of Berlin. The apartment itself is very spacious and well-equipped. It was spotless and had a huge bathtub, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The host was very responsive via email, which is great if you encounter any issues. The value for money was really good. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is on the roadside, 8 minutes walk from the subway station, very convenient. I booked a double bed with another girl, but both beds were very small, and they were put together. It was not comfortable. Breakfast was monotonous.

The hotel didn't provide complimentary bottled water. The Hilton Berlin's mini-bar prices are ridiculously exorbitant and completely unreasonable, making for a terrible experience. There was no clear price list in the room, and a standard bottle of mineral water cost 7 Euros, while the exact same bottle is only 2 Euros at an outside supermarket – more than triple the price. This is pure price gouging. We weren't informed about these charges at all during our stay, only to be hit with them at check-out, which was incredibly off-putting. As an international chain, using such opaque and unreasonable high prices to rip off guests is completely beneath the Hilton brand standard. I strongly advise against staying here.

Excellent hotel! My flight landed very early, so I arrived at the hotel before 9 am. I expected to just drop off my luggage and check in later in the afternoon, but they let me check in right away. The room was clean and hygienic, though the pillows were a bit too thin and soft; I needed to use two to be comfortable. The breakfast area is spacious with a wide variety of options. The location is convenient with plenty of amenities nearby. Great value for money, highly recommend!

I stayed one night only in single room with toilet and shower. Self check-in although you could use reception. I person was near the kiosks to help you if you got stuck. Nice vibe. Spacious common area to meet fellow travellers. Desks for working. Kitchen had some hot plates. The hostel is walking distance to the section of the Berlin Wall with art works. Supermarkets near by.

The hotel is near the famous Alexanderplatz; unfortunately near the bridge of the U-Bahn. The smell of pee outside is off putting to say the least. The hotel and rooms are clean, unfortunately there’s carpet everywhere. So you can’t really tell. It’s not hygienic. The rooms are a little small, there’s little space to empty your luggage and nowhere to actually put it. The plug situation in the room is ridiculous. In a double room, there’s only one plug near only one of the beds. In the shower, there’s nothing to place your own shampoo and conditioner and so on. The TV doesn’t have any mirrorcast/airtv options to screen something from your phone/tablet, and most of the channels are in German.

I got to the place quite late after a 24 hours journey from China, and quite tired. I slept 8 hours undisturbed in a full 8 bed dorm, and nothing bothered me. The only downside is the city itself {and the country) overpriced and dysfunctional in all respects. A 19th century nation that made great progress backwards. Go to Berlin only invited and adequately paid.

The biggest advantage of this hostel is its location. Alexanderplatz is incredibly convenient for travelers, with many key attractions within walking distance. There's direct public transport to the main train station and the airport. A distinctive feature of this hostel is the large number of young teenagers, giving it a summer camp vibe with groups of young people everywhere. The common area is on the ground floor, featuring a pool table and shuffleboard. They offer a paid breakfast in the morning and have a small, lively bar in the evening. The room itself is standard, with a sink inside. The toilets and showers are acceptable. One of the toilet doors was a bit broken but still usable. Hand soap is provided, but there's no shower gel or shampoo. Breakfast includes sausages, bread, coffee, milk, tea, apples, tomatoes, and cucumbers. You can also pay extra for grilled sausages and fried eggs. Breakfast is served from 7 AM to 10 AM, and hot water is available.

A really nice and clean hotel with well-appointed rooms, and the small kitchenette with a fridge is a perfect addition. The location right near Checkpoint Charlie is superb. There are small cafes around, as well as McDonald's and KFC where you can eat relatively cheaply. The room cleaning wasn't great because we seemed to always be in the room at the wrong time. The one time out of three days that the room was cleaned, the trash cans unfortunately weren't emptied.

The location is quite convenient, not too far from three different metro stations, about a two-stop bus ride away. It's about a 20-minute drive or metro ride to Museum Island. If you buy a 24-hour Berlin transport ticket, you can basically travel seamlessly. The breakfast was plentiful and quite tasty. There are plenty of free parking spots in front of the hotel at night, and it's not usually too difficult to find one. The room was very clean, and although there was no air conditioning, the two golden dragon floor fans actually made it feel even cozier. The price was also quite reasonable.
