The decoration is in the Western style of the 1980s. For some years, the room we stayed in still has paint smell. I don’t know if it has been repaired recently. The location is really partial, there is nothing around, the hotel is also small, only eight rooms, no public entertainment facilities, no public hot springs. It rained heavily on the day we arrived and could only stay in the room with no view. Be careful not to drive by yourself. Traffic is too difficult. Compared with such an expensive house price, I really want to faint. Just came from Asahi of Shuzenji the day before, this price is more expensive than Asana, but the experience is like mud. The price/performance ratio is too low. I don't know what the bottom line is. The good place is good service, good ingredients for dinner and breakfast, the next day the weather cleared, saw Mount Fuji, at the same time the hotel helped to contact a reasonable price taxi to the next destination, which is a little soothing to check the mood of the day.

Better than expected, clean and tidy! The hot spring in the room directly faces Mount Fuji, and you can enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Fuji while sitting on the terrace! The service is top-notch, and the food is fresh and delicious! Each building is independent and quiet, absolutely worth the money!

The location is a bit remote, the environment is OK, and the room has a smell. This type of B&B hotel is not as well managed as a brand hotel. The sanitary conditions are not up to standard. The hot spring inside is OK,

The best ryokan I have ever visited in Japan. You feel at home. It is located in a picturesque place with its own sakura alley, momiji. There is a bamboo grove. Breakfasts and dinners (kaiseki) are interesting and delicious. You can feel the constant attention of the ryokan staff. The onsens are varied and beautiful, after visiting them, my skin became very smooth. The rooms are historical, large, classic, very pleased. I recommend Arai Ryokan!

The staff was very professional and kind. We reserved the private onsen for an additional cost. We booked the biggest onsen. The washing area and the changing room was impeccably clean. The end of the tub however was a bit scary. The walls and ceiling was covered in spider webs and there were giant spiders hanging on there which was a bit unnerving. Otherwise the public washing areas and the room were very clean. The ryokan however is a bit outdated. There are some markings on the wall and curtains.

The area is very large and all built along the river. It used to be a high-end place for celebrities in Tokyo, Japan to vacation, gather and relax. There are many buildings and old objects from decades ago. Both the indoor hot springs and public hot springs are good. The outdoor hot spring can deeply feel the hotel's business philosophy and the deep integration of man and nature.

The room faces Sunawa Bay, with a very good sea view. The nearest hot spring hotel after disembarking at Toi Port, the facilities are very comfortable. There is a coffee area in the lobby on the first floor of the hotel that is open at fixed times. This time, due to the New Year's Day holiday, I was unable to book a room with meals, which is a little regrettable. However, when entertaining and confirming information before check-in, they will provide nearby dining information and a map introduction to Izu. It is a hot spring hotel worth visiting.

The location is absolutely fantastic! Built right along the Katsura River, you can open your window to the soothing sound of the river and lush greenery. It's only a 3-minute walk to Shuzenji Temple, and a morning stroll along the riverbank is incredibly relaxing. The Japanese experience feels so authentic. Dinner was a kaiseki meal, with sea bream chazuke and grilled wagyu that were both fresh and exquisite. The room was a traditional Japanese-style room, and the tatami mats were clean and soft.
