The hotel is indeed a bit old, but the rooms are clean, bright, and cozy. The twin beds can be combined, and with my mom and child, there was plenty of space for the three of us to sleep comfortably. Before booking, I was a bit worried about having to step into the bathtub for a shower, thinking it might be inconvenient for my elderly mother and child. However, upon arrival, I saw that the bathtub was very low, so it wasn't an issue at all. The children's pool area has tall trees providing shade, which is a big plus. The hotel service was excellent; reasonable requests were promptly addressed. Our stay was very pleasant, and this is the only one out of the four hotels I've stayed at in Sanya that didn't proactively ask for a good review, which left a great impression. However, it's worth noting that there are many bars on the ocean-facing side of the hotel. My sea view room did experience a little disturbance at night, but it became very quiet after midnight. Also, the room curtains aren't very good at blocking light, so those who like to sleep in and are sensitive to light should consider this. Regardless, the sea view from our room was absolutely stunning – 100% worth it!

Overall, my experience was excellent, especially the top-notch service. It was the most astonishing trip I've had in the past five years. We stayed for two nights. We had booked a 180-degree sea view room, which was upgraded to an unbeatable sea view room. Besides the floor, there wasn't much difference between the rooms, though the balcony of the unbeatable sea view room was a bit larger. On our first day, we encountered a typhoon. It was my first time experiencing one, and it scared me. The floor-to-ceiling windows on the higher floors kept shaking, and the wind was howling. I was afraid they would collapse or be blown away, so I kept contacting the front desk and housekeeping for help. What shocked me the most was the service attitude of the hotel staff. If hotel management sees this, please make sure to commend all the staff who worked on the evening of July 3rd. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly proactive and dedicated to solving our problems. I don't know the specific names of the staff, and I can only vaguely remember their characteristics. All the following timestamps refer to the 3rd: 1. Around 19:20, housekeeping staff on the 17th floor were busy running around, helping every room with towels to block water. Also, the male manager in black on the 17th floor actively coordinated and resolved issues for everyone without complaint. 2. Around 19:40, the lady standing to the right of the front desk (a bit plumper than the other front desk staff) helped us switch rooms several times. She also proactively contacted someone to check for leaks. She was friendly and kept reassuring us, which made us feel at ease. 3. The red-haired housekeeping auntie on the 17th floor (who was a bit short) ran up and down for us to get a dehumidifier and contacted the AC repair staff. 4. The young man from the engineering department who repaired the AC stood outside in the typhoon to fix our door. He even called another person to help us with the repair – I really admire that. 5. Apparently, two gentlemen from the front desk delivered our room cards. One of them was particularly tall. He said there were too many guests waiting for the elevator, and he was afraid we'd be anxious, so he ran from the first floor to the 17th floor. I'm so grateful. I don't remember the other staff very clearly, but in short, thank you all for providing such excellent service. Because of you, whenever my friends and I visit Dadonghai in the future, we will choose The Harman. Whether it's during a natural disaster or normal times, I believe any hotel can encounter problems. We encountered many problems at the hotel, and they all happened on the same night. But the fact that all problems were resolved so well is, in my opinion, truly remarkable. There are at least 60 rooms on each floor, with guest rooms from the 6th to the 18th floor – you can imagine how many staff members are needed. I can confidently say that at any hotel or company, when so many customers encounter problems simultaneously, many staff members would also become an 'act of God.' No other business could be like The Harman that night, where all staff were proactive, enthusiastic, without complaint, endured fatigue, smiled, and were even more anxious than me to solve my problems. This is extremely rare. They even ran to find us. We faced many problems that night, and we sought help from over 10 staff members within three hours. But every single one of them possessed the highest quality expected of service personnel, even far exceeding other four-star and five-star hotels on regular days. If even one staff member had been angry or impatient with me, I wouldn't be as shocked as I am now. Having such a group of excellent, kind, and charming staff is truly the most valuable asset of this hotel. Thank you all for your service, and I hope the hotel is as kind to its staff!

I had such a hard time choosing a hotel for my Sanya vacation, but I'm so glad I picked the Swissôtel and Grand Mercure. It's really excellent! The hotel is super close to the beach, just a 7-8 minute walk. They gave us complimentary welcome fruit that was incredibly sweet and plentiful. The dining options are great too, with special Hainanese noodles and a variety of delicious American dishes. The room was clean and comfortable. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit!

The villa is beautiful and the pool water is very clean. The hotel is right next to the beach, so you can walk over and dip your toes in the water. The rooms are large and plentiful, and I got a bit disoriented when I first checked in. Unlike other standalone villa hotels I've stayed at, this one doesn't have a butler service; you need to call the front desk for any requests. It also felt like the hotel was understaffed. We checked in during peak hours, and the front desk staff looked very tired and overwhelmed. They didn't even guide guests queuing up in an orderly fashion. The experience in this regard was quite poor compared to the Hilton we stayed at two days ago. If you're staying in a villa, you'll need to bring your own mosquito repellent. Because the rooms are so large and there's a lot of greenery, even electric mosquito coils were largely ineffective. I didn't see any mosquito traps or similar facilities outside either. We were almost carried away by Sanya's mosquitoes!

I originally booked an executive suite with a sea view on another platform, but forgot to make a reservation... By the afternoon, there were no sea view rooms left, so I temporarily chose a mountain view, which was also great. The room was spacious, and my family was very satisfied. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly helpful, arranging two rooms for us even though the sea view rooms weren't available. I'm very grateful for their assistance. My child loved the kids' room key card. In the evening, they delivered fruit and even brought a stroller for my child. Staying at the Marriott with a child was a very thoughtful experience! The afternoon tea was delicious, but the wait was too long, about two hours. I hope they can improve that.

First, the pros: The hotel is very close to the sea; you can walk out from the ground floor and be on the beach in a few dozen meters. Since it's at the very end, the beach is quite clean. The rooms are also clean, and the housekeeping staff are all very friendly. There's a pharmacy and a small convenience store right in the hotel lobby, which is quite convenient for buying medicine and other necessities. The concierge service was also excellent, actively helping with luggage upon arrival and departure. There's even a ** (food delivery) locker at the lobby entrance, which makes ordering takeout very convenient. Now, the cons: The front desk service was terrible. The room they initially assigned us could only be used for showering while standing in the bathtub. Since one of my companions had difficulty with their leg, I asked for a different room. The front desk staff immediately told me the hotel was fully booked and there were no other rooms available. I had no choice but to contact Ctrip, and they quickly arranged a room change for us. When checking out, I requested a late check-out because my child needed an afternoon nap. Again, the front desk told me the hotel was fully booked and we could only stay until 12:30 PM. However, before calling, I had already checked the booking page, and our room type was still available for sale that day, so it wasn't fully booked. Oh well, we checked out on time. Breakfast: The variety was extremely limited, and most of the options seemed more suitable for Russians. I stayed for three days, and as a woman with a small appetite, I never felt full. In the evening, there's also a self-service BBQ on the ground floor for 98 yuan per person. I wouldn't recommend making a special trip to Bohou Village Night Market; it's just a short road, a few dozen meters long, entirely filled with BBQ stalls. If you plan to book this hotel, I suggest getting a full sea-view room directly. The full sea-view rooms seem to have been renovated, and the facilities look newer. Also, a word of advice: do not book through **. I saw others who booked through **, and when issues arose, the hotel and ** just passed the buck, leaving the customer to suffer. This trip was long with many uncertainties, and I deeply experienced Ctrip's problem-solving capabilities. They truly are the king of the tourism industry; kudos to Ctrip! 👍

It was great! Dora, the concierge, was incredibly helpful and attentive. The room facilities were well-thought-out. It's very close to Coconut Dream Corridor. The balcony offers an unbeatable sea view with an expansive vista; the most beautiful sunset I saw was from the balcony, not the beach. You can even watch the drone show from the balcony. The night market snacks in the evening were also affordable. What I liked most was the swimming pool; the depth was just right for me, and I swam both days. I went to the beach both in the morning and evening. Breakfast was also good; the preserved egg and lean pork congee was delicious, and I ate until I was stuffed.

I stayed at the Howard Johnson Resort Sanya Bay for four nights. It truly lives up to its reputation as a long-standing family-friendly hotel; in terms of kids' activities, it's the best I've experienced among all the hotels I've stayed at in Sanya over the past few years. The paddleboarding class was really fun, the instructors were responsible and engaging, and they really connected with the kids. The bubble show wasn't just a simple one, it included little games too. A big shout-out to all the instructors! **Cleanliness:** The rooms were very clean, and they were flexible with tidying based on guest needs, not just a rigid routine. **Facilities:** This is my only complaint. They really need an upgrade. The toothbrush holder was so old it was unsightly. The seals on the main door, bathroom door, and shower door were all aged, making them close with a loud bang. **Service:** The lifeguards at the public pool were the most responsible I've ever encountered. They were constantly vigilant and proactively engaged with guests, offering help and resolving any issues with enthusiasm.

The hotel also offers free scheduled shuttle buses to the beach, which is very convenient. Within 800 meters of the hotel, you'll find the Yalong Bay Yatai Night Market Street and the Baihua Valley Commercial Street, making it easy to browse the night market and commercial area after dinner. It's a peaceful escape that doesn't lack convenience, truly an oasis of calm in the bustling Yalong Bay. Overall, my stay was very enjoyable. The hotel's excellent location, beautiful natural environment, spacious and comfortable villa, and attentive service all left a deep impression on me. The hotel offers great value for money, and I highly recommend it for anyone vacationing in Sanya. I'll definitely choose Shixi Villa Jianguo Resort Hotel first on my next trip to Sanya!

For my Sanya trip, I chose to stay at the Yalong Bay Welcome Hotel, directly opposite Baihua Valley. First and foremost, I absolutely *must* commend our dedicated butler, Gina! Before our arrival, when discussing room preferences, I specifically requested a high-floor, non-smoking room in the West Wing with a lake view. Gina patiently reviewed my booking details and went above and beyond to accommodate all my requests, communicating every step of the way with thoughtful precision. Throughout our stay, she was incredibly responsive to all our needs, big or small: when we needed an office chair, she arranged for one to be delivered immediately; when there was a drainage issue in the bathroom, she promptly arranged for maintenance; and when the pillows weren't comfortable, she quickly provided suitable buckwheat pillows. She meticulously followed up on daily housekeeping, linen changes, and even helped adjust our room type for an extended stay. Whenever an issue arose, Gina handled it with humility, proactively apologized, and resolved it promptly. Communication was seamless, and she never tried to deflect. From coordinating our room before check-in to handling various unexpected minor issues during our stay, she was on top of everything, always willing to help. Her professional and attentive service smoothed over many potential headaches. I am incredibly grateful for Gina's thoughtful assistance throughout our trip. Having such a responsible butler significantly enhanced our holiday experience. My husband even said he'd choose Yalong Bay Welcome Hotel again next time. Firstly, because the pool-view family suite is genuinely superb and spacious enough for a family of four (the only minor drawback was dim lighting for homework, but Gina quickly resolved this by sending a desk lamp). Secondly, because the butler is truly accommodating – on our last day, she even proactively offered a late check-out. I highly recommend asking for Gina if you stay at this hotel! Additionally, a shout-out to the hotel's shuttle service: it was quick to arrive, helped with luggage, and provided service via WeChat. The pool also hosts bubble parties every Tuesday and Thursday, which the kids absolutely loved. The number of lifeguards at the pool was impressive, with coverage at every corner and angle, and they were all incredibly responsible and attentive – even the waterslide had a dedicated lifeguard, which was very reassuring! Finally, I have to praise the supermarket located to the right of the hotel lobby. It completely shattered my stereotype that hotel convenience stores are always overpriced. A fragrant coconut was only 10 yuan! Regular coconuts were just 5 yuan! And the fragrant coconuts were incredibly delicious, as were the green mangoes 😋. They even offered delivery to our room and by the pool – truly excellent value for money!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! We had booked a panoramic sea view room online, but due to a system error, our reservation couldn't be found at check-in, and the room type we booked was fully occupied. The front desk staff handled the situation brilliantly, reconfirming our reservation in less than ten minutes and even upgrading us for free to an even higher-tier panoramic sea view suite. As soon as we entered the room, they promptly brought up a bed rail and bottle sterilizer for our child. Kid's toiletries were replenished daily, which was super convenient. The room itself was spacious, and the views were simply breathtaking. The only minor drawback is that the decor feels a bit dated by today's standards. The hotel restaurant offers an amazing view overlooking the lawn and the ocean, making breakfast incredibly pleasant. The hotel activities were also quite engaging. The sea was so blue, and the waves were so white. We definitely hope to visit again!

The lady at the reception was incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay with the kids an absolute delight! They really outdid themselves. We'd noted that we were traveling with children, and the hotel proactively set up kids' amenities and even provided children's slippers, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room was spacious, plenty of room to move around, and the soundproofing was excellent, so we didn't have to worry about disturbing the kids' rest. The hotel also has a kids' pool and a play area that kept the little ones so entertained they didn't want to leave. For breakfast, there's a dedicated kids' dining section with porridge, steamed eggs, and small pastries, all perfect for children. The housekeeping service was meticulous, and the staff were gentle and patient with the kids. We'd come back from our outings to find our room already tidied up. The environment is safe and quiet, and the facilities are comprehensive, making it an ideal choice for a family vacation. We'll definitely be back with the family next time!

The hotel is very close to the beach, and the lobby is on the third floor. It's very relaxing to sit in the cafe area and enjoy the sea view – it really sets a holiday mood! The hotel has been newly renovated, so there's no musty smell, and the room was very clean. The balcony even has a drying rack. The butler service was incredibly warm and helpful; they even assisted with a late check-out due to a flight delay. I had hoped to upgrade to a sea-view room at the front desk, but it was fully booked for the summer holidays – maybe next time! Breakfast was a bit crowded, but manageable if you go during off-peak times; the staff managed everything very efficiently. The public areas are very quiet, and it's not noisy at night, making it perfect for guests who just want to relax. The hotel also has a great ecosystem with lots of little birds around.

Stayed at the MGM Grand Sanya from July 22nd. Originally planned for just two nights, but the experience was so fantastic that we extended our stay for a total of four days! 🌊 The hotel has a packed schedule of daily activities! In the mornings, there are fun crafts and interactive water games, plus the kids' favorite beach crab hunt. Evenings are just as exciting with the M Show and the atmospheric beach firefly release party. Non-stop entertainment morning and night meant the kids always had something new to do and never got bored. The hotel offers direct access to Yalong Bay's fine sandy beach. The water is clean and clear, perfect for walks and amazing photos. The breakfast buffet is incredibly diverse, with a great selection of Chinese and Western dishes, as well as Hainan local specialties. There's something for everyone, adults and kids alike. Driving around was super convenient, with plenty of parking spaces. It was easy to get to Binhai Valley and other attractions. The service was exceptionally warm and attentive. Staff proactively asked about our needs daily and were always quick to respond and very thorough. With the pool, beach, and entertainment all conveniently located, there's no need to travel far. It's the perfect spot for families to relax and enjoy a resort vacation. Awesome!
