Fantastic hotel! I have to admit the room was a bit small and the decor a little dated, but the location is excellent, and it offers incredible value for money. It's so convenient for the beach! And the service was truly exceptional – that professional, old-school hotel service. Whenever we had a problem, the front desk staff always considered things from a customer's perspective and actively helped resolve them. We received complimentary welcome fruit, the breakfast was extensive, and the airport drop-off service was very convenient. This time, we had noisy neighbors, and the hotel promptly helped us change rooms and even offered a complimentary afternoon tea. Every front desk staff member sincerely told guests to contact them anytime with any issues. We even received complimentary coconut water when we left. When I come back for a holiday next year, I will definitely choose Yintai again.

In mid-August, all the hotels in Sanya went crazy with price hikes. For example, Tianyu's prices tripled, making it feel completely unnecessary to book. Even very ordinary hotels at least doubled their rates. Amidst this wave of price gouging, only Grand Mercure quietly offered a low price of 500 RMB. And seeing room photos posted by others on TikTok, I thought it looked great, which made me immediately place an order. My flight was delayed, so I arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night. The young lady at the front desk upgraded me to a family suite, which was super spacious. It had two large beds, one of which was a 2.2-meter king-size bed with an extra-large duvet, so the kids could roll around as much as they wanted without a problem. The complimentary seafood dinner was delicious, and the creamy clams were incredibly tasty. The staff were all very enthusiastic; if you stood in the lobby for a moment, a staff member would immediately come up with a smile and ask if you needed help, which was very heartwarming. There's a children's water slide, and both big and small kids had a great time playing. There's a bubble party at 4 PM. It's a quick five-minute walk to Yalong Bay if you're fast, a bit slower with kids. Downstairs is Baihua Valley, with KFC, Pizza Hut, Heytea, and other stores. The Ah T milk tea near the beach is also very good, but the coconuts and fruits from the street vendors there weren't tasty.

The hotel's location in Xiaodonghai is great. While it's an older property, the facilities are well-maintained, and the rooms exceeded my expectations. It offers good value for money. During holidays, getting to the city center can be slow due to traffic from Luhuitou. I hope the hotel improves its pool management; it's currently subpar. People were in the pool without swim caps and even wearing shoes, which makes you wonder about the water quality. On the plus side, access to the beach is very convenient and close, perfect for families with children. However, Xiaodonghai has many underwater rocks, making it a bit uncomfortable to swim from the shore. The concierge service was excellent – very friendly and proactive in helping with luggage. Also, the breakfast was delicious with good quality offerings, including fresh juice. Overall, it was a good value stay, and I hope the hotel addresses the areas for improvement.

Our family's stay in Sanya this time was a great overall experience. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get around, and it's very close to the beach, just a short walk away. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding was very comfortable to sleep in. The staff were enthusiastic and polite, and responded promptly. The environment is quiet, perfect for seniors and children to rest. The breakfast selection was rich and tasty. Our comfortable stay definitely enhanced this trip. I stayed here back in 2017 and thought it was great then, with direct sea views and easy access to nearby restaurants. The hotel's pool isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate, and the staff were constantly skimming leaves out of it. Lying by the pool was very relaxing, quiet and leisurely. This time, I booked a brand new room type, which was newly renovated and also very good overall. The night market snacks over the two days were also delicious. All the staff were lovely, and our butler, Dora, was really nice too. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for accommodation in Sanya Bay.

A hotel with exceptional service, and I really want to highlight the service. A huge thank you to Lucia, our hotel butler, for her constant help throughout our stay. From the moment we checked in, Lucia was incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. When we checked out, I realized I'd left my power bank in the room, and Lucia promptly arranged for a delivery service to bring it back. Having Lucia as our butler made this trip incredibly pleasant. She's the most attentive butler I've encountered in all my visits to Sanya. **Location:** The hotel is just across the road from Sanya Bay's Coconut Palm Promenade, making beach access super convenient. It's also a quick 15-minute taxi ride from the airport. **Room Facilities:** The rooms are clean and tidy. The hotel itself is quite large and has a very distinctive design style. My two children absolutely loved the big bathtub in the room. You can also see the ocean from the hotel balcony. **Breakfast:** The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of Chinese and Western options. As it's a family-friendly hotel, they also provide baby utensils. The restaurant is very spacious with two huge halls. **Hotel Environment:** The hotel boasts a massive lawn, perfect for travel photography. We brought our two kids for a photoshoot, and each room comes with 5 complimentary retouched travel photos. **Kids' Activities:** This hotel is ideal for families with children. There are several swimming pools, a small water park, and a huge indoor children's play area. The kids loved it so much they didn't want to leave!

The location is absolutely fantastic! You just cross the street from the lobby and you're right on the beach. You can even walk to and from the beach in your swimsuit. Extremely satisfied with my stay. The sea view was fantastic! The weather was bad, so I stayed in the room the whole time and didn't get a chance to experience the pool. But this suite was truly excellent: clean, bright, and spacious. It had two separate bathrooms, and at night, the bedroom doors could be closed for privacy. Both rooms also had their own balconies. Although it's close to the airport and planes constantly flew overhead when on the balcony, you could barely hear any noise once the doors were closed. The downside: The food at the executive lounge was a bit disappointing. There was a limited variety of hot dishes, and all the desserts were mousse-based, which were both heavy and not very tasty. Wouldn't some regular cakes have been better?

The Sheraton's service and quality are consistently excellent. There's a concierge at the entrance, and the hotel staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel's environment and facilities are also fantastic. I'm not sure why some reviews mentioned it being old; the facilities seemed quite new to me. The pool was clean and clear, the beach was uncrowded, and there were plenty of towels. Breakfast offered a wide variety of Western and Chinese options. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit. After checking out, the front desk called to ask if I had received a gift, as it seemed the hotel had forgotten to provide it. They even offered to mail it to my home, which was a very thoughtful gesture.

The most touching part was that he showed no impatience despite our absolute beginner status; instead, he encouraged us repeatedly. After an hour, we could already float on our own, experiencing the relaxation of swimming. That feeling of being professionally and gently looked after was the coolest comfort under the scorching sun that day. Ultimately, a hotel's hardware, whether new or old, or the quality of its views, might create a fleeting impression, but sincere human interaction truly determines the warmth of a journey. From Eddy's flawless online communication to Master Peng's patient and meticulous in-person instruction, I saw not only Hilton's professional standards but also the passion for work and kindness towards guests from these two specific individuals. This perfectly timed 'being seen' and 'being cared for' deepened our affection for Sanya. Next time we visit, it will definitely be here again, and I hope to see you all. 💙

1. I really loved the scent in the lobby and elevators, and even the cooling ice towels had a pleasant fragrance. 2. The full seaview room offered amazing views, and it was charming to see little birds visiting the balcony every day. 3. The beef noodles at breakfast were incredibly delicious! With a generous amount of yellow lantern chili and bean sprouts, I ended up having 6 bowls over two days. 4. The butler was quite prompt in resolving issues. 5. The public areas are beautiful, especially when viewed from above. 6. The sound bath healing is definitely worth experiencing; I actually fell asleep during it. Overall, the Marriott offers a great sense of healing and a wonderful resort experience.

My bestie and I specifically chose Sanya for a photo op, and the MGM Grand has tons of picture-perfect spots inside. There's a seaside lawn, a coconut grove beach – all sorts of backdrops you could ask for. On a sunny day, every shot you take has that full island vibe, with the turquoise sea and coconut trees creating a stunning backdrop. After snapping photos, we could head straight back to our room to refresh. The room had excellent lighting, which was super convenient for fixing our makeup and outfits. The hotel has everything you need for dining, entertainment, and fun, so besides taking pictures, we could also fully enjoy our vacation time, traveling and documenting our journey. It was a very fulfilling trip overall.
