Reviews From Real Travelers
The moment you step into this hotel, you feel instantly at home. From the attentive doorman's smile as he takes your luggage to the meticulous check-in instructions provided by the front desk staff, every detail exudes professionalism and warmth, leaving you feeling like you've arrived in a warm and safe haven. The hotel's interior is even more striking. The simple yet stylish design of the public areas, with greenery and art pieces strategically placed to create a tranquil and elegant ambiance. The guest rooms are warm and comfortable, with soft lighting and neat decor, and every detail meticulously considered, inviting you to relax and unwind.
The most surprising experience was the hotel's breakfast, a true feast for the senses. The restaurant offers a dazzling array of delicious dishes, including freshly baked crispy bread, fragrant bacon and eggs, colorful fresh fruit, and refreshing juices. The diverse selection caters to every palate, ensuring a revitalizing start to the day.
But what truly captivated me was the ”breathing” bed. The mattress is the perfect level of firmness—not too soft to sink into, not too firm to be uncomfortable. It contours perfectly to the body, providing gentle support for every inch of skin. As night falls, lying on this comfortable bed, the fatigue of the day seems to melt away instantly, and with the soft bedding, I drift off to sweet dreams. Whether traveling for business or leisure, this hotel offers exceptional service, a pleasant environment, a hearty breakfast, and an exceptionally comfortable sleep experience, adding infinite beauty to your journey.

The room, breakfast, service and location are all great. But if you arrive early, they will say there are no rooms available. They will ask you to pay more and there will be a room immediately.

Location: By the Douro River, but a little far from the tourist area. There is a tram track at the door, but there is no station. You can hear the tram passing by in the morning, so it is best to wear earplugs when sleeping.
Room type: There is a double bed on the first floor, and a sofa upstairs that can be used as a bed. We basically didn't use the upstairs when we traveled, which was a bit wasteful.
Two glasses of Porto wine and some candied fruit were given when we checked in on the first night. It was the only four-star hotel that gave away snacks during this trip. There is a terrace on the roof, and you can see the night view of the lights on the opposite bank at night.
There are not many guides for Porto that can be found in China, so I took a taxi from the hotel to take the No. 18 tram to take medicine. The direction is completely opposite. It is recommended to ask the front desk for the itinerary plan on the day of check-in.

The hotel is close to the airport, 15 minutes' drive away, which is convenient for overnight stays and early flights. For seafood lovers, there is a restaurant 10 minutes' drive from the hotel. The food is very good, but a little expensive, but delicious!

This hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the old town. The building itself, according to the hotel's description, dates back to the 16th century. It's truly a unique experience to stay in such a historically rich setting while enjoying modern minimalist decor, especially given its superb location in the old town's core. What particularly stood out was the hotel's pool, which directly overlooks Porto Cathedral – an absolutely unforgettable sight.

Top Top Class Hotel. This is an excellent hotel just 500 meters from Porto Sai Bento train station right in the centre of Porto. The staff is exceptionally well trained. The newly built rooms are very spacious and tastefully done. Truly a luxury hotel in every sense. Strongly recommended for all kind of travelers to Porto- holiday or business.

It was a pleasant stay in Porto Palácio ! Our bed could be more comfortable, otherwise we enjoy the beautiful sunset on the rooftop ! Also there are 2 swimming pools, one free and the other (that you can see on the hotel pictures) isn’t included. The hotel is next to Sixt (car rental).

Hotel is nice. Clean and spacious room. Comfy beds
Absolutely worth the price.
Location may not be near the touristic places but ain't a far drive with Uber.
A supermarket just beside the hotel is terrific. greeted us with a complimentary champagne at their top floor lounge with a scenic view of Porto.

In the center of the old town, you can basically go to any tourist attraction within one kilometer. It is very friendly to traveling bosozokus. There is nothing to say about the interior of the hotel. It is almost the same style as Lello Bookstore. Harry Potter is enough. The elevators and guest rooms are a bit Budapest. It feels like a big hotel. The air-conditioning panel in the room is actually touch-screen. It’s very magical~ The service is also good. After arriving, it’s easier to sit and check in. The check-in time is not stuck. There is also a welcome drink. I usually choose the special one. Port wine, and someone knocks on the door every night to deliver chocolates. Maybe the only bad thing is the small alleys on both sides of the hotel, which are basically tobacco shops and bars. Young people gather there at night and make noise, which will probably last until after 2 o'clock. The second floor is being renovated during the stay, which is quite disturbing. Visit the public area on the second floor. If you like retro, you can really try this hotel.FromNZD 283

It's too dark in the hotelㅠㅠ
There's another hotel across the street, so it's hard to get in
It's good for resting, but I wish it was a little brighter when I pack my luggage or look for it,,
I moved from a 4-star hotel in Basel, but it doesn't feel like a 4-star hotel..!
The whole of Porto is like that, but the building isn't that big, so the lobby is small
I'd rather just stay at an Airbnb or find a slightly cheaper place with a good location and a lot of sunlight.FromNZD 186

I liked the most among European hotels I went to this time on my honeymoon.
It's a small but lovely and very pretty hotel.
When I was curious, it was said that it was built in 1829, but it is in excellent condition. It was rather antique and very good.
When you open the window, the view is so pretty as if it were in a fairy tale.
In the plaza in front, they perform performances, and they are gathered right in front of the bar restaurant, so the location is the best.
If I go back to Porto, I will definitely stay at this hotel!!

The location is convenient. Many popular attractions can be reached within a 15-minute walk. It is next to the road, but the room is also very quiet. The facilities are relatively new and clean, the double bed is also very large, the toilet is large and clean, the hot water is sufficient, the shower is very comfortable, and the breakfast is varied and delicious.FromNZD 136

Although the hotel is not located in the heart of the city centre, but it is not far either on foot or taxi, with good value for money.
The room is spacious and very clean with welcoming and leaving notes, adding the warmth to the stay.
The staff are friendly and helpful with first-timer's questions.
The roof-top bar is rather small and strangely located, as I have to come down to the reception and go back up the other lift.
All in all, it has been and amazing stay in the lovely town.FromNZD 101

The hotel's location is superb, right in the historic center. You step out and see the blue and white porcelain chapel, and almost all city attractions are within walking distance. Hotel located near one of the main metro stations of Porto, where most lines are crossed to go around the city. The area of the night rooms is 10 minutes walking distance, while the main tourist attractions of the historic centre are about 20 minutes walking distance. I was assigned a room at the first floor that gave access to the cover terrace (very badly held) of the ground floor of the hotel, to which the other rooms at the first floor were also accessed. I would have preferred a room at a little higher floor, I didn't feel free to sleep at night with an open balcony. The hotel's entrance is unclear from the street, since there is no sign that signals it but only the name written next to the entrance.FromNZD 135
