Hosts - Nuwat & his mum are nice and friendly. They accommodated to my later check-in time when my arrival time was delayed. My room was already prepared upon my arrival with the air-con turned on. The house is well equipped with all amenities which one can asked for and they have 3 lovely pet dogs. Location of their place is near Huai Kwang station which is convenient to everywhere and there is also bus stops nearby for easy access. A lot of food stalls and restaurants within walking distance and the area is filled with Chinese restaurants which can cater to Chinese tourists. Overall, it was a great experience staying in Nuwat’s place and is highly recommended for those who would like to experience staying in a local Thai-style homestay.

If in terms of comfort, this place answers everything, calm, walking, very convenient, admin gives very good advice. Recommend to stay. If there is a business around that area, definitely go to rest again. Because there are quite a lot of decorations in the room, it makes a lot of dust. Therefore, I think that it should be more adjusted in terms of cleanliness.

Good stay! The hotel is non-smoking, although when I first entered the room, it smelled like cigarettes. Check in time is 1400, the hotel staff will keep your luggage until check in time. It would be much better The front deck staff are more friendly and flexible about check in time. I arrived the hotel on around 9 am due to my early flight. I understand that check in time was 1400, but when I come back around for 13:50 they won’t let me check in at first. I have to request to allow me to do paper work first and check in at 1400. Other than that the stay was good, room was spacious and clean.

The room was cosy and of a decent size, perfect for two. It comes with a lovely pool and a 24-hour gym. The tuk-tuk shuttle service to BTS Thong Lor was very useful, and the concierge staff were flexible and helpful, even outside the scheduled timings when available. Just ask. There is also a self-service laundry area next to the smoking area, where you can purchase tokens for 10 baht at reception. The service is supposed to be available 24 hours. However, we were told by the overnight receptionist that it was not available past midnight due to system restrictions, as he could not process the payment and the machines would be switched off. We later clarified with the staff in the morning and found that this was not true. We were quite disappointed with the overnight receptionist, we had just come back drenched from the Songkran festival and needed to dry our clothes but he simply said no without offering any alternatives. Fortunately, we found a 24-hour self-service laundromat just a 2-minute walk from the hotel, located past a large 7-Eleven. Overall, the hotel is lovely.

I booked a river view room, and the view was absolutely stunning, offering a panoramic sight of the Chao Phraya River's nightscape. The room was clean and tidied daily. Breakfast was a generous spread. Walking out and turning right, it's about a 5-minute stroll to Asiatique The Riverfront. From 10 AM to 8 PM, there's a boat service every hour from the hotel to the Central Pier. From there, you can take another boat for 10 Baht per person directly to ICONSIAM on the opposite bank. For 600 baht a night including breakfast, the value for money is really good.

This hotel is very close to the Airport Rail Link, which made it super convenient for my last night before flying home. It's just across the road from a BTS station, making it easy to get to the Siam shopping area. Staff helped with my luggage all the way to the room, which is what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. Overall, I was very happy with the service. The annex building wasn't an issue at all. The only minor point is that the elevator in the annex doesn't require a key card to operate.

This hotel, despite being a bit old, offers excellent service and great value for money. Check-in was very fast. Parking can be a bit tricky, as the turns are quite narrow on each level. We parked on the 7th, 8th, or 9th floor and took the elevator to the 11th floor for check-in. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the breakfast was decent. There's also a 7-Eleven right downstairs. If you're really particular about new facilities, I'd suggest choosing a big-name brand, but for the price in Bangkok, I think this place is fantastic.

My trip to Thailand was wonderful, and the hotel's location was very convenient. However, the hygiene conditions were truly concerning, something I've never experienced before. I discovered the issues late at night and called the front desk to explain. The person actually asked me, ”Didn't anyone clean your room today?” Seriously, whose job is that? Are you asking me? How am I supposed to know? Anyway, the tip I left on the pillow was gone, so I just assumed someone had cleaned the room. The staff who changed the sheets was polite, but three or four sets had different dirty spots. They eventually explained it was washing machine marks. But then I have to ask, are the marks on the sheets also from the washing machine? And what about the holes in the duvet cover? In the end, I just gave up. Dirty is dirty, I'll just wear my pajamas and deal with it. They said it was too late to report to the manager that night and that the manager would contact me the next day. But the next day, I had to be the one to go to the front desk. They said the manager was in a meeting and asked when I would be available. I'm on vacation! Who has time to wait around for you? Finally, it was check-out time, and they asked if I still wanted to talk to the manager. So, should I just miss my flight and skip going to the airport? Will you reimburse me for a missed flight? Their way of handling problems was incredibly frustrating. My trip was originally very happy, and Thailand is beautiful, but this hotel completely ruined my mood. On the bright side, I have to give credit where it's due: the fire safety was excellent. Someone smoked in their room, and the alarm went off. I ran out in the middle of the night thinking there was a fire. It did affect my sleep a bit, but at least the alarm worked well.

Mercure is my families most favorite hotel. We’ve been there roughly 10 times. It is our go to spot. This time around we were shocked that one of the employees was very rude. Her name was KATE! She gave me an extremely hard time at checkout I was a few minutes late and had my two little children with me and she felt the need to remind me 8 times while I was checking out. In the future I will definitely deal with a different person and she almost had me choose another hotel on our way back. Horrible customer service by KATE! I will be contacting Mercure headquarters being that I have stayed at 23 of their locations. Other than that our stay was amazing.

The soundproofing is really poor. I could clearly hear the banging sounds from the room next door... and the cleaning staff opening and closing doors in the hallway. Also, you have to walk quite a distance from the hotel to get to the city center, which can be inconvenient, especially for women. On the positive side, the front desk staff were very helpful and enthusiastic, and the cleaning ladies kept everything spotless.

I really enjoyed my stay at Horu Hotel Manga Dua Square. The hotel has a great location inside the Manga Dua area, making it very convenient for shopping, dining, and transportation.
