I chose Four Seasons in Koh Samui without any hesitation. It was a perfect experience. The hotel buggy is always on call and will clean the room day and night to keep it clean and tidy. The scenery of the private swimming pool is also very beautiful, and the hotel gym is also well-equipped. The most satisfying thing is probably the breakfast. There are both a la carte and buffet options. It tastes good and has many styles. The scenery is also very beautiful. It can be said to be one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had.

It was an amazing and unforgettable stay. Top notch service from the hospitality team, so well trained and friendly. One of the best wellness treatments I had, my therapist was very professional and knowledgeable. Foods are so good and tasty, simply amazing with beautiful views and great ambience. Beautiful resort and beach, definitely the best resort in Koh Samui. I can’t wait to go back.

Great views, but underwhelming service and food quality. Also, we are taking the half board with a dinner included, but unlike the buffet dinner that we have, thought it was just one starter, main course, and dessert, so be careful that you take the half board. Small things in service were missing. For instance, the attentiveness with which food was being served, the room service, and the housekeeping lacked the finesse. Very small beach and quite rocky, so while you can have great views of the ocean, you can’t really enjoy the water.

I booked this stay just for myself, and it turned out to be exactly what I needed! Every little detail felt tailored to me, and the team went above and beyond to make it special. Big thanks to Khun Mink, Daniel, and the rest of the staff, their warm, responsive care made my time at Conrad feel extra comfortable and truly welcoming. I left with a big smile and can’t wait to come back!

Reviews From Real Travelers
Environment: The house has a beautiful view and a sense of design. It is a staircase room, which is not very convenient for the elderly. Facilities: The hotel is on the mountain, and it is not very convenient to travel, but most hotels in Samui are like this. All cooking equipment is available, including coffee machines and ovens. It is a bit lame to not have a washing machine and dryer. It is a bit difficult to dry clothes by yourself. If you send them for washing, you will have to pay and they will not be returned until 24 hours. Hygiene: There are welcome towels, and the cleaning is generally clean, but I don’t know if it is an environmental protection policy. It is different from the hotel I stayed in Thailand before. I stayed in the hotel for five days and the towels were not changed. They only helped to fold them in place and didn’t even return them. Because there are many small insects on the mountain, although someone orders lemongrass-flavored mosquito repellent every day, it is not very useful. Don’t be too particular. Service: This is the most unsatisfactory place. At first, I felt that the housekeeper was quite enthusiastic and could help apply for a baby bed, but later I found many inflexible policies. For example, we were not allowed to wear shoes into the house. The store could only pick us up at the convenience store at the foot of the mountain. We were trapped 300 meters away from the convenience store because of heavy rain, and the store said they could not pick us up. The breakfast varieties are fixed, all sausages and eggs. I wanted to ask if I could add some vegetables or bacon, but the store said they couldn't do it. I bought the bacon with my own money later. The employees who make breakfast are quite polite, but they start work at 8 o'clock at the earliest. If you want to eat before 8 o'clock, you can only have sandwiches. Only airport pick-up is included, not delivery. I feel that the overall experience is different from other chain hotels in Thailand, such as Banyan Tree and InterContinental. In general, because it was booked two months in advance, the price is relatively suitable, three rooms are about 3k per night, and the cost performance is quite high. But next time I come, I may choose other chain hotels with better facilities and services.

Our family stayed for 9 days, and we were very satisfied with the overall experience. The rooms were spacious with open views, and all the appliances and furniture were in excellent condition. The staff were exceptionally responsive and always ready to help. The breakfast was a particular highlight, offering a great variety of delicious options. While its hilltop location meant that getting around was a little inconvenient, this also contributed to excellent air circulation and a wonderfully peaceful environment.

This was the first hotel I stayed at in Koh Samui, out of four in total (this one, Holiday Inn, Conrad, Anantara). This place definitely offered the best value for money. Upon arrival at the front desk, I was pleasantly surprised to find a Thai lady who spoke fluent Chinese, and there was also another Chinese staff member. What really delighted and amused me was a foreign gentleman who spoke perfect Shanghainese; he shared that he grew up in Shanghai. He even treated me to a fantastic Thai dinner – the kind where you could order anything off the menu with absolutely no limits! The entire hotel is absolutely stunning, and the service is exceptional. While the breakfast was a slight letdown, it certainly didn't detract from the overall experience. Even after returning home, I still miss this place dearly.

We stayed here for a few nights for our honeymoon and the staff made our experience very special. The room was gorgeous and we had an amazing view of the sea. The resort is huge but they offer buggy services 24/7 which made it very easy to get around. We used the free shuttle service to Chaweng Central which was a very convenient way of getting to town and back. I would say the only downside to this resort was how far away it is from everything but the shuttle service definitely helped with this. Overall I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking to have a relaxing time in Koh Samui. We will definitely be back in the future!!

Best experience at this hotel. The spa was amazing. The two therapist which we used were Apple and smile. Both were absolutely wonderful and helped with my tendinitis in my arm. The staff and the manager Porsche did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. I must say the breakfast is the best, the croissants and pastries Were just like ones in Paris highly recommend.

Stayed for 8 nights at Sala Samui Choengmon Beach Resort. The villa had its own private pool. Very cozy and nice. The breakfast each morning was really nice. There’s a buffet and you also get one a la carte item for breakfast to go with your buffet. So really good. Staff were super friendly and nice. The hotel evening meals were not so good. Nearby restaurants were way better and much better priced. I wished the food was super good for lunch and dinner as it would have been perfect, but unfortunately, the Thai dishes were a bit sub par, over priced and even beers and cocktails were double or triple what you pay elsewhere. Pool staff were friendly and helpful, but I wish the food and drinks at restaurant and bar were reasonably priced so we could have enjoyed it more. Nearby restaurants offer better experience. Mr Eung restaurant nearby had the best food for that area. A short drive to the best restaurant on the island called Supatrra will show you what you wish the resort had. If the manager of the Sala resort went over there and learnt a thing or two about dining then the resort could be greatly improved. Anyway, resort was nice, just the lunch and dinner needs some attention. Good location, clean and tidy. Shower gel and soaps were not the best so had to buy some outside. Don’t forget your mosquito spray. Overall, a nice experience and very relaxing, just wish the food was better. Fun stuff to do nearby, football golf, Thai cooking class, go kart racing, reggae bar, paddle ball courts, tourist shopping at night market, kickboxing show. We hired a scooter, as it’s not really walking distance to anything but a short scooter ride will get you around the island.

After leaving SALA, I went to the Internet celebrity Sheng Tailan. When I arrived at the hotel lobby, I was in a trance in Sanya. When I walked into the room, I missed SALA all the time. When you come to Thailand, you must experience the unique Thai-style villas. The various details and services of SALA are even more memorable. This is a vacation, especially recommended with children. The waves on the beach are small and the sand is fine, so it is perfect.

We recently stayed at SALA Samui Chaweng Beach Resort and had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the service was welcoming 😃 We'd like to give a special shoutout to the Hotel Manager, Boky, and her amazing team for their exceptional professionalism and warm hospitality, which truly enhanced our stay. Initially, we didn’t realize we had booked the wrong room, but Boky kindly upgraded us to an Oceanfront suite. The room was spacious, impeccably maintained, and offered unforgettable, great view! We’d also like to express our sincere thanks to the restaurant manager and her team for making our dining experiences truly exceptional. Every meal was beautifully presented, and the service was amazing. Their attention to detail and heartfelt hospitality made each visit memorable and special. We travel often, but this stay stood out because of the exceptional people who went out of their way to make our time memorable. Thank you to everyone at SALA Samui Chaweng Beach Resort, we’ll absolutely be back and will be recommending you to family and friends! 🥰

We went on our honeymoon, and everything was fantastic and smooth. From check-in to check-out, the staff at Sala ensured we had everything we needed. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with mini macarons, a towelette, and coconut water. The check-in process was exciting, as we could choose our pillow types and room scent. Once we were checked in, the staff prepared a flower bath for us. They also provided an in-house app for easier requests and questions, just a chat away. During our five-day stay, room service would come in around 6 p.m. to check on us, make our bed, and leave us a ”goodnight drink” to help us sleep. They made sure we were well taken care of. The hotel is very conveniently located, with a 24-hour shop just a minute away and within walking distance of the central shopping center. The taxi service was easy, and breakfast was nice, with the option for halal meals (no pork or alcohol served).

This was my third stay here; twice I've been in a beachfront villa, and once when I couldn't book one, I opted for a sea view villa, which instantly halved my experience. If it's your first time in Koh Samui and you want an unbeatable sea view room with hotel amenities, I highly recommend the beachfront villas at Silavadee. **Hotel Pros:** The stunning, unbeatable ocean views are immediately apparent and absolutely breathtaking. Furthermore, the room design and maintenance are excellent; it's a wooden structure full of holiday charm that doesn't feel damp or moldy despite being by the sea, remaining fresh and tidy. The hotel service is spot on. Whether it's room service or restaurant service, they respond promptly to requests, and the prices are reasonable! **Things to consider for your stay:** The transportation is a bit inconvenient. Since it's on a hill, there are no restaurants or shops within walking distance apart from the hotel's own. We rented a motorbike from the hotel, so it didn't affect us. The hotel beach is just average; it's a bit small, and walking further in can be a bit rough on the feet. The waves are often too strong for water sports, but since we mostly relaxed in our room, it wasn't an issue for us.

Lovely hotel with a beautiful view and amenities. It has everything you would need for a beach holiday. They provide towels and a beach bag. The staff are all lovely and very helpful. The service was good with cleaning. One thing I would say is you need a car/bike to travel to the main strip of shops and restaurants and the main area of the beach. The hotel does have its own section next to the pool for the beach but the stairs go straight into the water (which is shallow) so is fine to get onto the beach area.

This will be part one of review (reason is we already extended stay for another 4 nights) Hotel is wonderful, 2 great pools (one right in the garden with lots of lovely trees around amd right next to the room) balcony of room also has a great view of pool and the garden. 2nd pool larger and also surrounded by great salas and decking etc. The beach which is maybe 100m walk from room is fantastic, lovely sandy beach with plenty of chairs and decking for comfort. The staff from the reception to the maids to the serving staff all super nice and friendly. I came with wife and daughter for 3 nights originally bit extended for another 4 nights as the hotel amd grounds and staff just all so nice.. everything you need is right here. As the hotel is just off the chaweng main strip thought maybe would be noisy but absolutely not.. it's far enough down towards the beach that the main strip isn't an issue, (unless of course you want to see the main strip and the many bars resteraunts s etc well no problem either as all of this is walking distance away so best of both worlds) Breakfast buffet has plenty of options also. So after another 4 days we may extend a bit more as I day it has everything you need for a great beach tropical holiday. Food amd drinks all reasonably priced (food is excellent with a wide selection)

I had a truly enjoyable stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything felt comfortable and well thought out. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a spacious sea view room, which made the experience even more memorable. The hotel has a private infinity pool filled with sea water which was the perfect spot to unwind while soaking in the panoramic ocean views. The staff were consistently warm and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made the stay feel special. Breakfast was satisfying each morning, with a good variety of options. While the menu remained largely consistent throughout the stay, there were small daily changes that kept things fresh without straying too far from the familiar. Overall, a comfortable and scenic retreat with excellent service. I’d happily return.

I recently spent a weekend here, and overall, I would say it was a decent experience for what we paid. Here's a breakdown of my thoughts: Accommodations (3/5): The rooms were clean and well-maintained, but they felt a bit outdated. The furniture and decor could use some updating, and the beds were not the most comfortable. However, the room had all the basic amenities, including a TV, mini-fridge, and a clean bathroom. It's not a luxury experience, but it was acceptable for a short stay. Service (4/5): The staff here were friendly and attentive. They were quick to address our needs and answer any questions we had. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and the concierge was helpful in arranging activities in the area. Amenities (3/5): The resort has a nice pool area, which we enjoyed. However, the pool could have been cleaner, and there were limited lounge chairs available, especially during peak hours. The on-site restaurant had a decent menu, but the food was a bit on the expensive side for what you got. It would be nice to have more dining options nearby. Location (3/5): It is located a bit further from the main attractions in the area, so you'll need a car to get around. This could be a downside for some, but it's also quieter and away from the crowds. If you're looking for a more secluded experience, it might be a plus. Value for Money (3/5): The pricing at this resort is reasonable, but you get what you pay for. It's not a luxury resort, so if you're looking for a budget-friendly option, it's a decent choice. In summary, this is a middle-of-the-road resort. It's not going to blow you away, but it's clean, the service is good, and it offers an affordable place to stay. If you're not too concerned with luxury and just need a place to sleep while exploring the area, it's worth considering.

If you’re planning to visit local attractions or dine out at nearby restaurants, be aware that you’ll likely need a vehicle, as they aren’t within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is beginning to show its age, with certain areas of the structure reflecting wear and tear. This could be a minor issue for some, but it’s something to keep in mind. One of the most frustrating aspects of our stay was the unpleasant sewage smell, which seemed to be coming from the canal that runs through the property. It was quite bothersome and detracted from the overall experience. On a more positive note, the staff were very supportive and eager to assist with any needs or concerns, which was a highlight of our stay. However, the breakfast left much to be desired, especially considering the hotel’s star rating. The variety and quality of the food did not meet our expectations for this level of accommodation.

A nice resort at its peak, but now quite run down and old. Had some issues with water in the shower and the walls and furniture show a lot of wear. Could not find a hairdryer either. However, it was cheap, the room was large, bed comfortable, pool is nice. Room had balcony. And you can walk across the street to Hyatt Regency and have food at their beach club, maybe even pool, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was good for my short stay purposes and close to the airport too.
