This time the overall accommodation experience is very wrong!
The location of the hotel is first class and the facilities are complete. The most praiseworthy system can use WhatsApp to contact the service team, and the reply is very fast and very convenient.
There are a few points that I want to mention after staying in~Friends: The room is deeply cleaned every 7 days. If you need to change towels or clean up the garbage, remember to take the initiative. In addition, if you live in the kitchen to cook, you must have a psychological preparation for the ventilation system is not too good, and the smell will be more difficult to disperse after cooking. It is recommended to cook the soup and eat lightly.
Finally, be sure to try the nearby room called ”de deli” - breakfast, really good!

Stayed here for 8 days. The hotel is located in the center of the old town where must-see attractions are concentrated. It has convenient transportation and many surrounding bus routes. It is convenient for eating, drinking and shopping. I booked a loft room with a kitchen. The room is large and has a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and other kitchen appliances. It is as convenient as living at home. The disadvantage is that the bedroom is upstairs and you have to climb stairs several times a day. The hotel room can only be booked for more than seven nights, so after 10 days, I went back to Amsterdam and stayed for four days and stayed in other hotels.

Located a bit out of the center, need taxi to the exhibition center south of Amsterdam. Room is very small. Can't walk around the bed once my suitcase is opened. But the bed is good and quiet. It's ok for a short stay for business trip.

On a two-day, one-night whirlwind trip from Paris to Amsterdam, I chose this hotel right by Dam Square. The location is fantastic! It's a 10-minute walk from the train station (we didn't have luggage, so it was quick and easy), and it's super close to both the canal district and tram stops. Located in a hotel next to the canal. The view from the window is pretty good. You can sit there for an entire afternoon.
The room is not big, just right for one person, but I have a lot of luggage, so it would feel crowded if I put two on the floor.
The breakfast is good and has a wide variety.
The location is great, and it takes about ten minutes to walk anywhere.
Sanitation: Very clean. Someone cleaned the room carefully every day during my three-day stay.

The stay in general was alright, just there we’re a few problems before arriving and upon arriving of my stay at the Generator.
First they emailed me because my booking was cancelled, I had to contact them to make sure the booking was alright. And upon my stay the welcome desk was not very lovely when i came early to ask a couple of questions about the stay. Later on when I was in my room, the staff double booked the room and other guest arrived to my room.

We had such a special stay at Tribe Amsterdam. I mentioned when booking that it was my birthday and our anniversary, and when we arrived we were greeted with the sweetest surprise. a hand drawn birthday and anniversary message on the mirror, balloons, and a bottle of free champagne. It honestly made our day and felt so personal.
The hotel itself is stylish, clean, and really comfortable. The room was modern and cosy, there’s even a smart tv so you can enjoy your netflix nights in . The staff were friendly, welcoming, and clearly care about the little details. The hotel is right next to the concert hall. From the central station, take tram line 26 for one stop, then it's a 200-meter walk across the bridge to the ground floor on the other side. They gave me a river view room, and the scenery was absolutely stunning – truly a 'wow' moment when I opened the door. Breakfast was also very rich and varied. I had an exceptional experience at Hotel Estherea. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The hotel’s interior is simply stunning — elegant, cozy, and full of charm, with beautiful decor that feels both luxurious and inviting.
My room was spotless, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. The little touches — like the fresh flowers, high-quality toiletries, and complimentary coffee and sweets in the lounge — made the stay feel truly special.
The location is perfect, right by the canal and within walking distance to all major attractions, restaurants, and shops. Despite being in the heart of Amsterdam, it was peaceful and quiet at night.

A little far out from the centre but we did not mind the travel to the centre. Metro/bus stops were under 10mins walk, very accessible. The neighbourhood was lovely had plenty of convenience stores nearby including a Lidl and New York Pizza takeaway. The staff were hospitality and had room service every day of our stay. We were able to leave our belongings in the hotel as our flight arrived earlier than check in time and bonus was we were able to check in half hour early than the check in time. Room was equipped with mini fridge, coffee machine, shower, radiator, TV and AC. Only problem was from the second day there was cigarette smell sipping into our room. It was very strong and my guess was that it came from the bathroom vents, this was very unsettling as we asked for a non smoking room due to my asthma. Everything else was top notchFromTRY 2,424
