The hotel is in a good location, close to shopping malls. However, the elevator setup is very inconvenient. Every time I returned to my room, I had to change elevators and walk quite a distance. It was extremely inconvenient. The soundproofing was also average. The decor and style weren't particularly impressive. It's not suitable for families. There were no triple rooms, so we had to book three rooms. The breakfast was okay, but nothing particularly eye-catching. I stayed for three days and ate the same meal every three days. It wasn't really a rich meal.

The facilities and equipment are first-class and the service is also great. The room is clean and tidy. I like their toiletries. The transportation is very convenient. Osaka Station is downstairs. The children like it. I will stay here again next time!

Located in Nishi-Umeda, it's a short walk from the JR station, subway station, and tram station, but still convenient for shopping and traveling. If you're flying from Kansai Airport, the Herbis pick-up point is also very close. This hotel, which opened just last year, has brand new facilities, spacious rooms, a pleasant atmosphere, and comfortable bedding. Traveling with my parents, the front desk was very thoughtful and arranged two adjoining rooms. We asked the staff to open the door, which was very convenient. I thought the service was excellent. My parents and I have slightly different living habits, but the housekeeping staff was very attentive and helped to organize the countertops according to our personal preferences. The breakfast service was also very good, with a wide variety of options.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the exceptional level of service, the attentiveness of your staff, and the overall comfort of the facilities. The attention to detail, the quality of the amenities, and the warm hospitality truly made my visit memorable. I also greatly appreciated the seamless check-in process and the impeccable cleanliness of the room. Please extend my thanks to your entire team for making my stay so enjoyable. I look forward to returning to Ritz-Carlton Osaka in the future and will certainly recommend your hotel to others. Once again, thank you for your excellent service.

We were disappointed. Not the Ritz Standard Service. We weren’t greeted by anyone on arrival we had to carry our luggage into reception. Checked in to the room, it smelled a bit off. We checked out a day earlier and again as we left no one was there to help with our luggage.

The room was quite spacious for Japan, and the service was very friendly. The hotel had a really pleasant fragrance. The night view of Osaka Castle from the top floor in the evening was a real highlight, and the nearby restaurants were also delicious. The breakfast provided was pretty good too. The only minor inconvenience was that to go down from your room, you had to take the elevator to the top floor first and then switch to another elevator to reach the first floor. Other than that, everything was great.
- JIAAAAZZ
The hotel is incredibly close to Osaka Castle, and the nearest subway station is Morinomiya. However, the hotel shuttle only runs until 6 PM and only picks up from one specific subway exit, which can make it hard to find if you miss the time or the right exit. The hotel itself is large and comfortable. If you're looking for a cozy and quiet place to stay, this is a good option.

Extremely bad service especially for a luxury hotel. Air-condition in room was hardly working, very suffocating for summer. Explained it to the night receptionist. Who immediately replied why could we bear with it on the first night. Sent a fellow service staff who stuck a temperature rod deep into the vent to show the air con was working fine. Couldn’t understand that there was no wind. On the check out day, asked the concierge on the ground floor to help book a bigger taxi in the morning as there were more people and bags. The person replied “yes, yes, yes”. Came back in late afternoon to confused looks.

Facilities: Good Cleanliness: Good Ambiance: Good Service: Excellent Conrad Osaka should be considered one of the better hotels in Osaka, and it's quite pricey. This was my first trip to Japan, and since I was traveling with my child, I opted for a nicer hotel.

The hotel location is great and easy to walk around exploring right in the middle of the city and you will find this gem ramen store open 24/7! The only disappointment was with the butler service or more the non existent butler service. For the price we are paying, I expected much much more from St Regis as I have been accustomed to at other St Regis Hotels. The hotel is beginning to show its age and hence the cleanliness part is coming into question when our rooms were being cleaned, I mean I am again nit picking here but it isn’t up to St Regis usual standards. The gym room is adequate but there isn’t a pool in a 5 star hotel 🙃.

A perfect stay and a great value for money. I was very impressed with this hotel. From the room to the facilities, from the service to the transportation, I am very satisfied. The room was very spacious and bright, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing me to have a good rest. The hotel's facilities are also very complete, including a gym, swimming pool, etc., which allowed me to fully relax in my free time. In terms of service, the employees are enthusiastic and very professional, which makes me feel very friendly.

Overall, I'm quite satisfied. I'm not a picky person; good enough is good enough for me. The room was spacious, but the foul smell from the drain was a definite drawback. The location is very convenient, especially being close to Shinsaibashi – that's a big plus! 👍 The breakfast selection was decent. There was no Chinese-speaking staff when I checked in. The Japanese lady at check-in asked me to pay extra for breakfast, and I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, because my booking clearly stated breakfast was included. Was it because I don't speak Japanese, or because my English isn't great and I'm easy to fool? I hope the service quality can be improved a bit!
- Minixiaoke
The hotel is new, clean, modern, location at CBD along the street of international brands. Not really crowded and walking distance to tourist area of Shinaibashi. There is a mega department store Daimaru. Transport is excellent convenient with direct train to airport, JR rail and underground lines . Breakfast at @ 4800 Yen and there is a government accommodation tax per night of stay.  There is a mini bar with charging beverages. But the  refrigerator is not cold enough.

The location is incredibly convenient, right across from Hilton Herbis Plaza. Luggage check-in is on the 1st floor, while check-in and check-out are handled on the 29th floor. Most staff members speak English well. The overall facilities are quite new, and the rooms are spacious. The stay experience, views, and friendly communication were all excellent. The hotel's own restaurants are mostly on the 29th floor. For breakfast, you give your room number, and during busy times, you might need to take a number and wait to be called. Weekday breakfast hours are from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM. In terms of convenience, the newly built Kitte mall is right below the hotel, with many restaurants from the 4th floor upwards, making dining easy. The hotel is connected to JR Osaka Station on the 1st floor, and from the 1st or 2nd floor terrace (2nd floor recommended), you can walk directly to the neighboring Daimaru Department Store and further to Hankyu and Hanshin Department Stores. The shopping and dining experience is superb, and access to trains and subways is very convenient. A couple of downsides: 1. Dining closes strictly at 11 PM, and guests are asked to leave, which is less flexible and attentive than hotels in my home country. 2. Although the hotel is on a high floor, there are train tracks below. You can hear quite distinct train rattling sounds at night, which only stop around midnight when services gradually cease. Travelers sensitive to noise should be aware of this.
- _fengguoliufeng_
Overall, this hotel is quite good if you're staying in an executive room. Service: The sommelier in the lounge was very professional. Regarding food, they offered caviar and sea urchin rice bowls, and sake starting from breakfast. For dinner, there was freshly shucked lobster. However, the champagne was just so-so. Because they don't recognize member benefits, the lounge was very quiet, which was great. Facilities: The rooms are small compared to other hotels of the same caliber. The room layout is typical Marriott design. Executive room guests can use the large public bath, but there's no swimming pool. Environment: The air conditioning in the room was excellent, completely silent, and the airflow didn't hit you directly. However, being above a train station, there was train noise. Higher floors would be better.

The room was quite small, but all the amenities expected from an IHG property were fully provided; though small, it had everything one could need. There's a hotel shuttle bus to USJ, with only one departure at 7:30 AM on the day we went. We booked it in advance via email, and the response was quick and excellent. We secured our seats and entered the park by 8 AM, which was a great experience. It was a bit difficult to find the shuttle bus stop from Umeda Osaka Station to the hotel. I suggest the hotel provide a video route guide; that would significantly improve the guest experience. The only drawback was the strong disinfectant smell in the bathroom. I hope they can address this.

Location is convenient but requires 5 to 10 mins walk to nearest train station. It's in a business neighbourhood so not many late night food options available around but its a nice quiet place to go back to after a day out at bustling umeda or namba. Hotel room was really spacious, nicely done up and comfortable; I wish I had one more night here. Service staff at the lobby were all friendly and they very graciously gave me an early check-in when there was a room available. Highly recommended!

This truly lives up to its reputation as an established five-star hotel. It embodies all the qualities of a five-star establishment, with staff who are highly service-oriented and professional. The front desk staff are particularly professional and have good English skills. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and during my 6-night stay, the cleaning was impeccable every day. The location is excellent; the airport limousine bus goes directly here, and there's also a bus to Tennoji from right outside the hotel, running every 15 minutes for 120 yen. The subway is directly accessible from the hotel's basement, just two stops to Namba and five to Umeda. Right next door is Kintetsu Department Store, which connects to an annex featuring Muji and Uniqlo, among others. The basement supermarket offers very reasonable prices. Across the street, Hihi Town boasts a variety of authentic local restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Despite some moments we had read on maps, the room we had on the 25th floor was recent, comfortable and well equipped. The size of the bathroom was also good if not bigger than usual hotel in Japan. Breakfast buffet on the 36th floor ia standard and lack a bit of originality but the view from all tables on the city is stunning. Hotel is also very well located and served perfectly our needs. Finally staff was nice and helpful. This is definitely an address we will happily go back to.

The biggest surprise was the transportation; Shinsaibashi Station's Exit 8 subway entrance leads directly and seamlessly into the hotel lobby. The hotel's location is truly a golden hub. Daimaru department store is right across the street, and the bustling Dotonbori is just a few minutes' walk away, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. You can purchase one-day passes for Universal Studios Japan (USJ) directly at the front desk. USJ is about a 30-minute drive from the hotel, which greatly simplifies trip planning. While the hotel has been around for a while, the rooms are spacious by Japanese standards. Even with a child, we didn't feel cramped at all. Overall, this place met all the core needs for a family with kids regarding transportation, location, convenience, and basic services. Highly recommended!

Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi Osaka|0.37km from city center
First off, I'd definitely stay here again! I recommend it to anyone looking for good value for money, just needing a place to sleep, similar to a budget hotel like Hanting in China. I stayed at the Keihan Hotel Yodoyabashi from October 1st to 4th, 2025, in a small double room (non-smoking). Here’s my breakdown: * **Location & Transportation**: ⚠️ It's not in the central business district, but it's only one or two subway stops away from Umeda, Namba, etc.! If you're on a tight schedule, you might want to stay somewhere more central. It's about a 5-minute walk from the subway station, so if you're planning a super intensive 'special forces' type trip, I wouldn't recommend it. * **Convenience stores**: There's a 7-Eleven just a 30-second walk to the left of the hotel. A Lawson is a 3-minute walk to the right. There are also two FamilyMart stores within a 5-minute walk. * **Restaurants**: There are restaurants like Matsuya nearby, which is very convenient. * **Quiet**: Also, because it's in a business district, it's very quiet! * **Service Level**: The front desk staff were friendly and responsive. Aside from check-in and check-out, I didn't have much other interaction, so I can't comment further. * **Room Condition**: * **Space**: As expected, the room was small, but perfectly adequate. We could open three 20-inch carry-on suitcases. * **Amenities**: The layout was well-planned, with a fridge, safe, kettle (Tiger brand), cups, a small stool, and a bathtub. All facilities were in good working order (the bedding was quite nice and comfortable). * **Hot Water**: The hot water could be a bit more stable; it wasn't as good as the hotel I stayed at in Kyoto. * **Soundproofing**: The soundproofing was average, but guests were all quiet, so it wasn't a big issue. We stayed in room 505, and there was no view from the window, just a parking lot. * **Facilities**: * **Breakfast**: At 1650 yen, I was very satisfied, especially as someone who loves vegetables, because the salad bar was abundant and fresh! Serving time is from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM. You can buy tickets directly at the front desk. The last entry time is 9:30 AM, so pay attention to that! It fully meets basic needs and is good value for money. Recommended! * I didn't notice a gym or pool, so I assume there isn't one. * The lobby lounge area has sofas, and it was decorated for Halloween, which was very pretty (see photo)! * **Highlights**: You can pick up cosmetics, lotions, makeup remover, facial cleanser, small towels, combs, and hair ties from the front desk – super convenient! You only need to bring your own makeup and eye cream. Thumbs up! * One bottle of drinking water per person per day, available for self-collection at the front desk. * **Summary**: In short, great value for money! I will definitely stay again. **A suggestion at the end**: The first thing I do when I check in is wipe everything down with an alcohol wipe. The cabinet where the safe is located was an absolute hygiene dead zone; it clearly hadn't been cleaned, with a ton of black dust. And the paper lining inside the safe was incredibly dirty. I used six wet wipes to get it somewhat clean. The hygiene in other areas was fine.

Overall good experience at the hotel! Saw 2-3 dried black spots on the bedsheet and pillows, but it's small enough to avoid them while sleeping. Toilet is great, felt like another room in the room itself, totally opaque with privacy so it won't feel awkward if you're staying with your siblings. The amenities are provided at the lobby and there are water dispensers at certain level, just that the shampoo and conditioner's fragrance are not my preference. There's a humidifier in the room which makes it less dry. The location is in walking distance 15-20mins (or less) to the back part of Shinsaibashi shopping street. There are few Family Mart and 7-11s nearby but have to walk a little.

There's a convenience store right downstairs, and plenty of dining options just a short walk away. Overall, the place was very clean, tidy, and a decent size. Umeda Osaka|1.03km from city center
The hotel is conveniently located right above the Daimaru department store at Umeda Station, surrounded by the famous Umeda shopping district – super convenient! Our first meal in Osaka, an okonomiyaki, was enjoyed in the food court downstairs, and it was absolutely delicious. The hotel service was also excellent; a kind staff member helped us with our luggage to our room upon check-in. Later that night, we noticed our room was getting colder and colder. Even with the thermostat set to 30 degrees, it made no difference, and even with an extra blanket, we were still freezing. It turned out the air conditioner was blowing cold air. We reluctantly called the duty staff, and despite a slight communication barrier, they quickly upgraded us to another room. Although it was a bit hectic and inconvenient in the middle of the night, the issue was resolved perfectly. A big thank you to the duty staff member (whose name I regrettably didn't get) who helped us solve the problem and move our luggage that night. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Osaka in the future.

The hotel is in between Shinsaibashi Station and Nagahoribashi Station. The staff are polite and friendly. The room is decent size for two people, though 2 open luggages can only be done halfway open, but sti ok. There’s free hot & cold drinks at the lounge area which is open from 5am to 12mn. The buffet breakfast is nice, mostly local Japanese foods (which we like), i can say that the cereal can be considered western. 😁 There’s a family mart just 2-5mins walk. And you can also walk to Namba from the hotel. Overall, it is a good hotel choice when in Osaka.

Shinsaibashi/Namba/Yotsubashi Osaka|3.53km from city center
I have a great stay at Citadines. Was not expecting a lot as i merely booked it as the one day tour company request to stay in hotel near Namba. It definitely exceeded my expectations in many ways. Location is around 200m to Kuromon market where you can find plenty of goodies and food. It also connects to the popular Dotonburi where you will go crazy finding outlets like Onitsuka Tiger & Popmart as well as popular eateries like Ichiran ramen! Good to book a premier room that comes with a kitchen. It does daily housekeeping with lounges & a launderette. Very happy to stay there! Highly recommended!

Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi Osaka|0.49km from city center
Located around 5-10 minutes walk from Yodoyabashi Station, somewhat in the middle of the business district stands the Hotel Resol Trinity Osaka. Yodoyabashi station is a pretty convenient location, as it was minutes away from Osaka-Umeda Station as well as Shinsaibashi and Osaka-Namba station, which were all on the same line which made travelling around a breeze. The ambience and feel of the hotel was very inviting and comfortable. We had booked the Hollywood Twin Room, and it was quite small, but I would rather describe it as cozy, though my only grouse was that the beds were too close to each other, and the lack of space for 2 huge luggages. I do love that although a bit on the small side, they still managed to fit in a nice Japanese bath to soak away the fatigue. Besides that, there was nothing much to complain about, as the beds were comfortable and not overly hard, and the staff were pretty warm, friendly, professional and efficient. The highlight was definitely the breakfast, which had a nice variety and were pretty delicious. Overall, a fantastic choice and a definite contender when we next go back to Osaka.

Osaka Bay Osaka|7.3km from city center
Excellent location for visit to Expo. The hotel is located right next to the bus terminal for buses to expo west gate, and literally right across the road from JR Sakurajima that connects you by train to rest of osaka, especially the osaka expo liner that brings you direct to Osaka station in 13min.  Also enjoyed the onsen though it was way too crowded probably because of full capacity during the expo. But in general top marks for amenities and location.

Shinsaibashi/Namba/Yotsubashi Osaka|4.88km from city center
I stayed at this hotel in Osaka for 3 night and overall it was a pleasant experience. The room and facilities were good for the price, and my twin room was clean and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the hotel provides luggage storage before check-in, which was very convenient. The location is excellent—close to both JR, Nankai and Metro stations, with many convenience stores nearby and Don Quijote within walking distance. There’s also a pantry area and coin laundry available for guests. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation, but the work is done only during daytime hours, so it didn’t disturb my stay at night. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay. Recommended!
