It's just a few minutes away from Fujisan Station, a bit like a motel. The room is quite large, and there is a dry and wet separation. It provides a simple breakfast. If you can't book a room in Kawaguchiko, this is a good choice

Glad that I was able to stay here. The location was perfect for us. The distance to Chureito Pagoda and the train station and was very manageable for me and my 14-year-old daughter. The facility was clean and staffs were friendly and helpful. It was also a quiet location. I think when given the chance, I would like to come back and stay here again.

The location of this hotel is near to many eateries like McDonalds, KFC, Saizeriya and many other restaurants (Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc). It’s 10mins walk to Fuji-Q Highland and La Ville de Gaspard Et Lisa Amusement Park. A huge Don Quijote store is just 3 mins walk from the hotel. 7-Eleven, Family Mart and Daiso is nearby too. My double room (Room 305) is quite spacious and the room’s window faces Mt. Fuji directly, the view was awesome! Only one unpleasant experience; the common/public corridor’s carpet is old and stained. My bed’s headboard was dusty and not cleaned. T

It is very close to Fuji-Q Highland, and it is estimated that it only takes about ten minutes to walk. Fortunately, the house facing Mount Fuji has a super beautiful view and can face Mount Fuji directly. The front desk clerk was very careful and explained how to use the facilities in the store.

Our stay in this beautiful home was perfect. The host came to greet us at the door, and ensured our comfort. We did not speak the same language, so we used translators to communicate with each other. Everything at the house was extremely clean. He will help you with any problems. He tried to help order us a taxi, but then drove us to Fuji Station. He was extremely kind, and I would love to stay at his home again in the future.

Very good reservation services, I had some enquiry to the hotels through email, and get a prompt replied! They guided me on how to book a bus to the hotel where the bus terminal is just in front of the hotel. Room was spacious , toilet very clean with a big bathtub. However we didn’t use as we headed to the free onset which is linked to the hotel too. Was lucky for able to get a mountain view room but Mount Fuji was too shy during my stay. And thank God it came out an hours before we board on the bus! Will come back next time!

It was a perfect stay at Bessho Sasa my family and I really appreciated the superb service the staff provided my family (I travelled with my 88-year old mum so we had quite a lot of needs) with. I had left some items in the room and they promptly had it couriered to me in Tokyo. The dinners each night were very well prepared, each day was fun-filled with so many activities. The Taiko show was done so professionally I was surprised that the drummers were all staff of the resort!! I would love to re-visit the resort again some day.

Arrived on a heavy snow and my shoe were all wet. Were told that our room were not ready but the lady quickly offered me a Shoe Dryer to dry my shoe. The room were quite spacious. It has beautiful view of Mt Fuji. The onsen have the same beautiful view of Mt Fuji. 20 mins walk to the Kawaguchi station. But within 5 mins walk around the hotel, there are Lawson, restaurants and also a huge supermarket. Recommended.

Perfect for groups and special occasions , would love to return I truly believe this villa offers an amazing view of Mount Fuji, especially with its rooftop area. Unfortunately, due to the weather during our stay, we couldn’t see Mount Fuji at all. That said, I can imagine how stunning it would be on a clear day. This was our New Year trip, and on New Year’s Eve we bought ingredients from the supermarket and cooked a reunion dinner here. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of cooking utensils, which was extremely thoughtful and made the experience feel just like home. I highly recommend this villa for a group of friends or family traveling together. The villa has two floors, allowing everyone to enjoy their own privacy. There are separate bathrooms and kitchen areas, which makes staying together very comfortable. We could gather on the rooftop to hang out, then each return to our own rooms to rest. Despite missing the Mount Fuji view this time, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

Fujisan Station Hotel was my accommodation choice during this Fuji trip. Located right next to Fujisan Station, it’s only a 2–3 minute walk away—extremely convenient, especially for travelers arriving via the Fujikyu Railway or the scenic limited express trains. Upon entering the room, my first impression was that the space is genuinely decent. Compared to many typical Japanese business hotels, it feels noticeably larger. I could fully open my suitcase and spread out my belongings without everything bumping into each other. After unpacking, I immediately felt more relaxed. This is especially great for self-driving travelers or those on multi-day itineraries with lots of gear. The hotel’s location is one of its biggest strengths. From the hotel entrance, it takes just 5–6 minutes on foot to reach the central area, where you’ll find convenience stores (not right next door, but very walkable) and a wide variety of izakayas and casual eateries. If you get hungry late at night, you can easily step out for food or drinks—there are plenty of options. For people who enjoy a late-night beer or casual supper, this is really convenient. The biggest pleasant surprise was my mountain-view room. The window offers a direct, unobstructed view of the complete silhouette of Mt. Fuji! On clear mornings or evenings, the mountain stands beautifully right in front of you—stunning and majestic. Lying in bed or sitting by the window to admire it felt like a real treat. While it’s not the lakeside reflection view you get at Kawaguchiko, this direct face-to-face perspective of Fuji is still incredibly satisfying. That said, I have to be honest: the overall facilities and room decor feel quite dated. Since opening around 2015, it seems there hasn’t been much renovation. The furniture, bathroom fixtures, air conditioning, lighting, and walls all carry a distinct Showa-to-early-Heisei vibe—almost zero modern design elements. Wi-Fi is stable, the bed is a Simmons (comfortable enough), but the whole place gives off a very “functional but not luxurious” feeling. One unusual point is that the hotel does not offer free breakfast (some reviews mention breakfast, but during my stay it was either vegetarian-only or charged separately). For some people this might be a downside, but personally I saw it as a plus—there are so many great local dining options nearby that I preferred going out to explore rather than being tied to a hotel buffet. Finally, the parking lot is huge and has plenty of spaces. For self-driving visitors heading to the Fuji Five Lakes area or Fuji-Q Highland, you’ll never have to worry about finding a spot. Easy in-and-out access is another practical advantage. In summary, Fujisan Station Hotel isn’t a luxurious or stylish property by any means. But if you value convenient transportation, spacious rooms, easy access to food and drinks at night, a direct view of Mt. Fuji, and ample parking, all at a reasonable price, this place is a very pragmatic and solid choice. It may feel old-fashioned, but it delivers on the essentials. Highly recommended for self-drivers or anyone who wants an uncomplicated, Fuji-facing stay with good value for money!

The hotel for my soul!❤️ We staied at the hotel from March 29 to April 2. It is a small and very cosy hotel with a beautiful garden in front of the entrance. The staff is very kind, helpful and friendly. The cleaning of our room was every day, the lighting was calming, and the beds are VERY comfortable❗️Also there is a yakiniku Tatsugaoka restaurant in the hotel!!! The meal is sooo delicious!🤤🤤🤤 One of the most pleasant things was onsen❣️ After the day full of emotions and movement it was the best way to relax and feel calm! Although it was cold and snowy in Fujiyoshida, and we hadn’t see Fuji until the day of leaving the atmosphere was warm and cosy! This city and the hotel have stayed in my heart forever ❤️ Thank you! I’m glad I’m able to witness all the positive comments written by the previous reviewers. I must say thank you to Trip.com for recommending this hotel to me. I don’t think I need to repeat all the good things again, I just hope I can return to this fantastic hotel in the near future and to experience the peaceful sight of Tokyo. Imagine when you wake up, you could see Mt Fuji from your bed, and go up to the fourth floor rooftop to take amazing photos with Mt Fuji. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They even offered to drive me to Onsen since I couldn’t get a tax.Lastly, due to the change of the travel plan this hotel allows last minute cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival, thanks for the flexibility given.

The place is huge, able to fit at least 5 pax. It split up the shower into dry and wet area. The toilet bowl is also in a separate room. We cooked at this place as it has all the necessary wares. You could also rent the barbecue set for a price. When we are there it came with 4 ticket to the public onsen just beside the cottage. The only cons in my opinion is you should probably drive to the place.

Many people criticize this B&B, so I'll say a few fair words. First of all, the landlord is an auntie who speaks a little English but not Chinese. She chatted with me in English when I checked in. Because it's a homestay, there are many rules, such as no smoking, throwing towels in a bamboo basket after taking a shower, trying to be quiet after 11pm, washing dishes after breakfast, etc. I live with my son, and these rules are not a big problem for us, so I feel good overall. And because I checked in before 8pm, the landlord sent breakfast, including bread, fried eggs, grilled sausage, and salad, which tasted really good.
