Opened the third floor (B1-2) old store for more than 40 years, there are a total of 11 rooms. There is no fun around a small lake. The 5 rooms are duplex with stairs and the spa is separate from the bedroom. The best scenery is Sora, almost four floors, the function rooms are separated, but a lot of stairs need to climb. The hot spring is on the top of the building, and the entire Xianshiyuan scenery is unobstructed - but there is no ceiling covering. We live in the kaza wind, the big flat, the scenery is only the other side of the forest, but it is not bad to climb the stairs. Before the check-in, the store will clean the pool and put the hot springs. If it is with breakfast and dinner, it will be sent to the room, but the taste is just like it. The appreciation of the food is very shallow. The store said that the weekend room was almost guaranteed one month in advance. We stayed on Sunday night and took a leak, but the price of the store also rose by 30%. In addition, although it is full, but almost no other guests. Privacy is very good. From the hotel to the taxi to go to Gotemba outlets for about 5,000 yen, about 15 minutes, are mountain roads. The traffic is a bit inconvenient.

This is my second stay with my family in this hideaway inn, right next to the field of Susuki. . About 40 minutes by taxi from Odawara . In the quietness away from the hustle and bustle, I'm looking at the snow scene. I'm in the hot water with the room. Luxury. The dinner and breakfast for the family in the room were exquisite, too heavy and tasteful . Service that doesn't make you feel even though you're thinking about everything . It's a sophisticated word. The cocktail I had after dinner is also super-class and excellent . Absolutely recommended . I had an unforgettable night.

Staff members are well dressed with impeccable manners. The service is excellent, their anticipation of client needs is outstanding. I have sciatica and they brought a bath chair to my room within 15 minutes of check-in. When they realized the next day that it wasn't really what I needed, they immediately brought a small stool. Incredible, I never expected such caring service. The room is classy, with a wood / glass book-case. It is very clean. They provide pajamas and a warm shawl, just in case you wish to walk outside and feel cold. The couch is comfortable and besides a desk, they also provide seating for two at a separate table. My friend and I enjoyed room-service breakfast every morning - we stayed for 4 nights. The onsen and bath area is spacious with plenty of amenities. Beds are comfortable and pillows lean towards the soft side. Lighting is good. From my balcony, I can see the Koi pond with some beautiful. colorful fish. Very relaxing. Meals are well thought out with 3 different menu choices. The basic menu, a ”medium” menu and the full menu. The basic menu is sufficient for our appetite, though we tried the full menu the last evening - it was delightful but a bit filling. Wine list not big but sufficient for a couple of nights' stay. This is a quiet space with a classic atmosphere. Therefore, anyone wishing for a move lively atmosphere might wish to consider another venue. However, if relaxation and good spa treatments are what you want, it is wonderful. My friend and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys good food with onsen baths, relaxation, a beautiful tree-lined garden and great service.

1. The location is considered to be the innermost in Hakone, and the mountain tram has been suspended recently, and the cable car to Togendai will also stop after 4:15 in winter. Basically, you can only go directly from Hakone Yumoto by TAXI. The fare is about 6,200 yen. 2. The reception and service of the hotel itself are impressive. There are even female players who specialize in serving Taiwan and Chinese guests. The rooms and hotel environment are impressive. The ancient style has a strong artistic style, which is very amazing 3. The waiter introduced the hotel and learned that the predecessor of this hotel group was mainly French catering. It has only been involved in hotel operations in recent years, but the conditions of the hotel are indeed impressive and highly recommended 4. I don't know if it is because of the evening It is related to the morning, and there is no view at night. In the morning, because of the heavy fog, I did not see the expected view of Mount Fuji. It is better to take a bath directly in the room. 5. The meal at this hotel is highly recommended, regardless of whether it is dinner or breakfast. I was very impressed. In the same week, I only used Michelin-starred ingredients in Roppongi, Tokyo, but my girlfriend and I felt that the restaurant's cuisine is better than Tokyo's one-star level, and the price is very satisfying. (Taiwan, China, Britain, the United States, France, Japan, Vietnam have visited many French restaurants), but the level of dining at this hotel is definitely worthy of praise and expectations. If I go to Hakone again, I will definitely return Stay one night at this hotel

The hotel is very close to Gora Station. It takes only 4 minutes to walk to the hotel. The staff's service attitude is very good. When we walked to the hotel, they were already waiting for us on the ramp. We were greeted with snacks and drinks when we entered the hotel, so we didn't have to queue to check in. Check out, as soon as you sit down, you will be greeted. I booked 1 hotel room and 2 meals. I chose Japanese food for dinner and Western food for breakfast. Both meals were of a very high standard. The view of Hakone Mountain from the breakfast was very comfortable. Originally I thought about traveling around Hakone on the first day, but ended up spending the whole day in the hotel. The hotel environment is so comfortable. You can hear the sound of running water on the terrace. I will definitely book 2 nights next time.
- QQ Garden
The room was very clean and large in size. Independent bathing space. It is very convenient to go to Owakudani and there is a car show just outside the door. What is particularly worth mentioning is the hotel’s food. I chose Teppanyaki in the evening and the Japanese set meal for breakfast, which was very exquisite and delicious... The overall experience was OK except that it was expensive.

The hotel is very good! The location is very concealed, the hotel entrance is a similar hill, the hotel itself built a bridge, directly to the hotel entrance. The hotel environment is very good, the room is also very good, although the outdoor hot spring is a bit small, but two people are still enough. The dinner at the hotel restaurant seems to be Kaiseki. Be sure to book in advance! Be sure to book in advance! Be sure to book in advance. There are Japanese and Western style breakfasts, which are also very good. All in all, five stars are well received.

Great breakfast for breakfast, great service The environment is good, although it is not comparable to the domestic scenery, but it is better than the architectural design. The excellent service makes the whole person relax. If you can, staying in the mountains for a few days will be very comfortable.

Style. Taisho era traditional onsen Setting. Hakone Suishoen is a cultural property that belonged to the Mitsui family, built 1925 Explore. Hakone. Was here late October, Hakone is a beautiful area and it is almost autumn foliage season Rooms. 23 rooms on the property surrounded by old maple trees and bamboos. Two beds in room Hananome. Sisley amenities. Large shower area that steps out into the outdoor onsen which faces the trees, found it to be truly restorative as I felt a bit beaten down when I arrived. Complimentary mini bar (except for the champagne and Macallan). Dark wood furnishings in my room looked dated and room had very little windows and natural light @ the hotel. great service throughout my stay, although strange to be served welcome tea in a paper cup. Didn’t try the public onsen. High quality souvenirs in the restaurant and lobby shop. Meals in the gorgeous historic Mitsui property Food and drinks Excellent traditional kaiseki dinner and breakfast in a private room in the historic Mitsui residence (aka restaurant Momiji). Built 1925 but still comfortable (ie floor heating) I was in Japan for three nights and while this was not a Michelin restaurant ( tried a few during this trip ), dinner here was my favorite and my comfort food. I kept on thinking about how food is functional medicine and this place hit the spot Prices. Moderate $662 as included a delicious dinner and breakfast Rating. 4/5 ( everything was perfect except for the welcome drink in a paper cup and my room’s decor/lighting )

I did get one of the rooms with a private onsen and I was more than satisfied with it. The overall room reminds me of a 1 bedroom 1.5 bathroom town house. The king size bed in the upstairs need room was quite comfortable. The room had great simple and elegant decoration. The bath had direct access to the private ryokan. The living room had a wonderful view of bamboos . The view of vegetation and the sound of the river were so calming. Only “negative” comment worth mentioning about the place is that the living room accommodates only traditional Japanese mattresses, so whoever stays downstairs has a more suboptimal experience. The food was carefully designed. All the flavors were in perfect harmony with each course. Dinners had about 7 wonderful courses. Breakfasts were as elaborate and delicious as well. Outstanding customer service. Al the staff was attentive of our needs. The staff offers basic transportation to local stations and to the open air museum, which is a fast must do activity. This will be my gold standard for ryokans. The service, aesthetics of the place, and food were phenomenal. The nightly fees are expensive. However, it is worth every single yen.

The Hakone Chuan Hotel is great. First of all, let's talk about the pick-up, and go out to the next floor of Hakone Yumoto Station. There will be a car with the name of the hotel waiting in front of the Izu Kyuko bus stop. It seems like a 15-minute shift. It is not a small bus opposite. Pay. However, every time I go to Tangben after I check in, I have to take a small bus that pays the money, one person for one hundred yen. Although it is not in Yumoto Station, but the traffic is very convenient, there is a bus stop near the hotel named Oomoto, which is a direct access to Odawara, Yuan Hakone, and Hakone Yumoto. This bus can be used for Hakone vouchers. The second re-service, when we go to check-in is to provide refreshments, the hotel provides free coffee in the lobby from 5 pm to noon the next day. My Japanese is fortunate enough to meet Chinese employees who are very enthusiastic to help us solve problems. The third room cannot accommodate an extra bed and the room view is very good. The fourth breakfast is Japanese, and the restaurant is full of green eyes. Fifth, the problem of hot springs, such as the children mentioned, can not go to the first floor, so we can only go to the second floor with children. Overall feels good.
- HAIRONG
The hotel is nice, the room is very spacious, the surroundings are very good, the hot spring has indoor and outdoor, we go on weekdays, few people, almost private soup, windy and rainy outside, soak in the outdoor hot spring, especially Comfortable. The hot spring is separate for men and women. You cannot take photos in the dressing room. The dressing room provides bath towels, lockers, and bath supplies. The hotel room also provides kimono-style bathrobes. rich

This hotel is a bit hard to reach by public transport. There is a bus that stops closeby, but there is also a train, however, after that you have to walk for 20 minutes and the road can be quite steep in some parts. In the vicinity, there are some convenience stores and restaurants. The town of Hakone is beautiful and located close to mount Fuji. We had a lovely ryokan-style suite with twin beds. Everything was very clean and comfortable, including the pillows. Breakfast is buffet-style and offers both European and Asian food. There are both a public onsen and a private one. Staff is very friendly and speaks English very well.

Japanese Spa Resort Hotel. A very interesting and unique experience. A very large Hotel on the side of the Hill within walking distance to Hakone-machi station and town (which was great.) The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast had everything Japanese and Western you could want. Staff were friendly and helpful. The vast majority of the people staying in the hotel were Japanese which was great as you had the real Japanese hot spring spa experience. As an annex to the Hotel, walking along an undercover walkway was a number of pools and spas both in door and outdoor.

Hotel Indigo was recommended to us by a co-worker. She raved about how much she enjoy her stay, so we decided to visit for our Anniversary. We loved everything about this hotel from check in to check out, everything was amazing. The hotel staff always made us feel welcome, by greeting us (by name most of the time) whenever we were out and about in the hotel. Hannah checked us in. She was nice and provided us with information about the area. We had the breakfast included in our stay. The restaurant manager Koji-san was awesome. While not a picky eater, I do like my eggs cooked a certain way...lol.. On the first day of breakfast, my eggs were not cooked to my liking. When my plate was taken, Koji-san noticed that I did not eat my eggs. He immediately came to our table and inquired about the eggs. I told him that they were too soft for me. He apologized and asked if I had enough to eat and said that he would like to try again the next morning. I thought this was such a kind gesture. For the next 4 days, my eggs were cooked exactly how I like them. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It is a bit pricey, but the chef is very good. The salmon and asparagus were my favorites. Our anniversary was on the 22nd and we received a call from the front desk asking if they could bring us a gift for our anniversary. They brought us an assortment of sweet treats, which we enjoyed with a cup of tea. Very sweet. Our room was spacious, clean with the perfect temperature. The television was the largest that I have seen a Japanese hotel. Our room was on the riverside with a private outdoor onsen. While relaxing in the onsen, you can hear the calming sounds of the river. There is also a foot soak in the garden area. it was a bit to cold outside for me, so I didn't get to enjoy it on this stay. The hotel was cleaned thoroughly and safety precautions were taken. All of staff wore masks and for breakfast, we were provided with gloves to get continental items from the buffet. All tables were wiped down immediately after a party left and were socially distanced. The hotel is in close proximity to just about everything. During our 5 day stay, we visited The Open Air Museum, the Venetian Glass Garden, Gora Park, and The Red Gate of Peace. We will definitely be returning and look forward to our next stay in the Spring.

This hotel is a historic property set in an iconic setting. We stayed in the Forest Section which features large, comfortable rooms that were a little dark, the bathroom lighting could be improved. Here is my issue. We arrived around 1:15 and we’re told that we could check in at 3:00. We had lunch in their cafe ( 50$) and asked again about an hour later if we could have early access. The very polite desk clerk replied “ Yes, for $70 dollars “. Astounded , I countered that we were departing early 2 days later, and he reduced the amount to $35. Now here is where communication becomes an issue: I continued the “are you kidding me?” and he kept bowing. I thought the issue was settled. That night and the next we ate at their lovely restaurants, French and the Cascade. Food and service was superb. With wine we spent about $900. Check out was early, and my husband didn’t really examine the bill. When we were back in our free early access room in Tokyo I noticed the $35 charge. I contacted the hotel’s customer service and they confirmed the charge. So, what about customer hospitality? I have NEVER been charged an early access fee for an hour. They have been times when we patiently waited for a room to be readied, and never demanded a rebate. It is all part of the guest/host agreement, I think this is probably a corporate decision by the Fujiya Group. Rethink your mission, guys, make guests feel wanted!

Pleasantly surprised by the large room we got, with an enclosed balcony overlooking the lush green valley. Spacious bathroom. Clean room. Excellent onsite onsen - enjoyed the experience. Lovely dining areas and sushi restaurant. Free pickup from Odawara Shinkansen station (45 min ride to hotel). Hotel offers free dropoff and pickup to local train station so you can comfortably take the cable car to Lake Ashi. Highly recommend the cable car, boat across Lake Ashi and Hakone's open air museum.

I read great reviews about Hakone Pax Yoshino. It's an older hotel in a tourist town and appears quite nice. My room was OK, large and could use some updating. My traditional dinner and service was spectacular, hence my 3-star rating. What tainted a one-night stay is I was traveling with a vegetarian friend and not only was she shut out of a dinner she paid for, but the front desk agent said they couldn't accommodate her, there would be no refund or substitutions, because we were traveling as solos we couldn't sit together - so many ”couldn'ts” that were simply not true. This tainted my stay and I went alone to dinner - plenty of room for another person - which was great. I was embarrassed that I had picked this hotel for friends to stay separately and upon arrival was told that our plan didn't include meals, which they sure did. So, at the front desk for about $300 per night, everything is ”couldn't”. Breakfast was just OK compared to dinner. I loved wearing the yakata and having hot spring water in the room's tub (which could use updating) was nice. In the morning, I was told to reserve a spot on a shuttle to the train station for what reason, I'm not sure. When no shuttle showed up for me, my friend and others waiting - and waiting - and waiting - we were then told that the shuttle doesn't always show up. Why the reservation for something that doesn't happen? The front desk could not request a cab, another ”couldn't”. Since most of us leaving had trains to catch and tours scheduled, we walked the 15 minutes or so to the station in the rain. I saw other guests I met while waiting also drenched at the station. In short, I'm not impressed though so much of Japan has impressive accommodations and kindness. Hakone Pax Yoshino falls short. For that reason, I wouldn't stay again and don't recommend it. Too bad, because the traditional dinner and restaurant serving staff are top notch. I'm sure the chef - and a dinner this good has to have a chef - would have said to serve a vegetarian rice, vegetables, desserts of which there were several as well as a large drink menu and other dishes - and the experience would have been better. Unfortunate that the front desk person we had could only say no, you don't have, we can't. Well, I think they could have. Very sad.

I visited for free. Although there are some negative points due to the old facilities, it is a price range that is easy to visit when you want to come to the hot springs, and the quality of the hot springs is not bad, so it is a new and fashionable facility, to stay without seeking gorgeousness. I thought I was there. Personally, according to the hotel rules, you can go back and forth in the bath with sandals in the room, so I think sandals have dirt on the shoes on the outside, but there are no other footwear in the room. I was worried about the aging of the washroom and the bus, because the boundary between the foot and the non-smoking area seemed vague, including the cleaning staff.

The Japanese rooms are almost to small to house two people with luggage, mattresses very thin, no Aircon available (only air clean). Room was run-down, the entire hotel is in dire need for make-over. It surely has seen better days. Therefore, it is overpriced. On the plus side: Food was good and so was the Onsen. But one would find similar Onsen standards nearby, in fact, next door. The nicely sized swimming pool closes at 5pm, can’t tell it’s quality. Massage service available, good service.

First and foremost, the hotel is just a road across the Yumoto station and bus stations towards all places in Hakone and is extremely convenient! The service was excellent and took my request in swift and prompt response. There is even a souvenir shop that gathers almost all kinds of souvenirs of the area. You can pay a little more to book a private onsen bath for yourself or your family. Will visit again if I come back to Hakone again.

Room facilities are still quite old, mainly because it has a bad smell. I do n’t know if there are other rooms, I was informed that the room was full, but there are still available rooms on the Internet to book. The hot spring pool is relatively small, and it may be a little crowded if there are many guests. Finally, let ’s spit out the meals. It ’s a good idea to prepare some food before going. There are no convenience stores around. The first night we ate kaiseki, the more we became hungry, the appetite was really bad, and the breakfast the next day was average. In general, the price is not high, it is time to experience.

Absolutely wonderful experience. My time in Yama No Chaya Hakone was rainy throughout the time, but Hakone looked so beautiful in rain. Everyone and the entire staff was friendly, professional and extremely helpful. One staff ran out in the rain from long distance to bring me an umbrella and welcome me; there was always my shoes ready to put on whenever I was ready to go out; breakfasts and dinners were prepared and served in such artful and tasteful way that I had to take so many photos. Their services and hospitality are top notch and highlight of my trip. Thank you for the unforgettable experience .

We met 2 staff at restaurant there that were not cheerful and giving us a poker face! They even urge us to finish our breakfast when we just started for 15 mins, saying that just 15 more mins were allowed. The female staff standing at the front desk of restaurant looks like she was suffering and unhappy about her job, without any reasons, we have no clue why she acted that way. The food provided in both dinner and breakfast buffet are just so so and not much to choose from. The view from the room is excellent as the location itself is in front of the lake, the room is spacious and clean! However, with such service, I will not come back and not recommended to others, there are more options in Hakone in similar price.

Hakone Yumoto Hakone|0.67km from city center
On Friday, I had a break, so I hurriedly booked a plan for staying without meals. It is a mountain room in the pond building, within 1 Person 1 10,000 yen. In the evening 17 I arrived at half past half, but the shops near Hakone Yumoto Station were almost closed. The correct answer was that I was procuring side dishes in the basement of the department store in Shinjuku. The convenience store was open. There are liquor stores and Lawson near the inn. The garden was an invisible room, but it was wide 々 and the scenery was good and I could see the mountains. The cleaning was well done. The futon is a style that you lay yourself, but I was grateful that you were prepared for a split, plate, and glass, probably because of the consideration for guests staying without meals. Coffee and tea were also set. It was good that the large communal bath and the bath in the room were both hot springs. The room was a unit bath, but I didn't really care. The next morning I took a walk in the large garden. I was able to relax. Hakone Yumoto is close to 80 minutes from Shinjuku, and I think it is an affordable plan for train fares and accommodation plans for inns of this class. I want to go to stay again when I have time.
