Novotel Balikpapan

7.9/10Good69 Reviews
Balikpapan|0.66km from city center
I recently stayed at this hotel for one night, and overall, my experience was quite pleasant. The check-in process was quick, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was clean, tidy, and comfortable enough. Amenities like the air conditioning, TV, and hot water worked well. The hotel's location is also strategic, close to dining options and public transport. For breakfast, the menu selection was quite varied and tasted good, though it would be even better if there were more options. However, one minor drawback was the poor soundproofing in the room, as noise from outside could still be heard. Overall, this hotel is suitable for both leisure and business travelers. I would consider staying here again on my next visit.

It was great to be back! I interned at Swiss-Belhotel when I was in high school, and I always hoped to stay there someday. My wish finally came true when I stayed here with my husband after we got married. I hope to come back again soon, God willing. Wishing Swiss-Belhotel continued success! 🫶🏻

Overall it's all ok, breakfast many choice but lack of flavor. The most upset, we thought parking is free but it deduct on our credit. We already double check with receptionist about the parking and we give our car number plate to double check in the parking system. Poor management please upgrade the services.

Swiss-Belinn Balikpapan

The room was spacious and close to the elevator, but it reeked of cigarette smoke as soon as I walked in 😭. There was no bath mat and only one slipper, which means housekeeping didn't pay attention during cleaning. I called reception, and they brought a bath mat and slippers afterward, but the cigarette smell wasn't addressed. I hope the room cleanliness can improve, especially regarding smoke removal, especially since I was traveling with a small child.

Balikpapan|0.92km from city center
check in and check out were super easy and quick, excellent service. The rooms are big size for this price, a bit noisy from evening music background from corridors but livable. The breakfast spread is fantastic with local cuisines which are new to us, very yummy and the the breakfast teams are very nice and friendly Lication is abit far out from any nearby local restaurants or tuckshops, no proper pavements for walking but it is nice to see the local mosque and local houses nearby Wifi is excellant as well

Whiz Prime Hotel Balikpapan

8.7/10Very Good207 Reviews
Balikpapan|1.76km from city center
I stayed at Whiz Prime Hotel Balikpapan for a business trip and booked a room without breakfast. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. However, when I first tried to enter the room, the key card did not work and required a reset. Fortunately, the hotel staff responded quickly and resolved the issue promptly, so it did not significantly affect my stay. The hotel is located in an urban area, which is very convenient. At night, it is easy to find food as there are many street food vendors and various meal options right across the hotel. The check-out process was also efficient and assisted by friendly staff. Overall, the hotel is comfortable for business travel, with responsive service and a location that makes it easy to find meals in the evening.
