Unfortunately the hotel restaurant requires reservations but without prior notice. The restaurant only occupied by 3 tables. Don’t understand why hotel restaurant not allowing guests to use. There are not many food options around the property. End up walking to the convenience store for food. Staying in a very nice hotel and eating cold sandwiches is not I expected it.

Fantastic experience, highly recommend if you're skiing at Grand Hirafu. The ski valet takes care of your boots and skis – just tell them your room number and your gear is ready. The gondola is right outside. The onsen and restaurant are also excellent.

This was my second stay at the Park Hyatt Niseko, and it seems the front desk staff was new this time. They made several mistakes, like sending us to the wrong building and getting our room direction wrong – quite unprofessional. On our third day, breakfast at the Chinese restaurant was poorly arranged; we were seated right next to the cart for collecting dirty dishes, which completely ruined our appetite. Otherwise, it was as excellent as ever! The housekeeping ladies were exceptionally good. After a day out, we returned to find our beloved teddy bear neatly placed on the pillow with a blanket over it – so thoughtful! And the teppanyaki was delicious as always!

Front office staff Ponny even came in at 6:30am to drive us to the train station as she was afraid that there may not be taxis available that earlier since it was the start of Golden Week. The only downside is that the surrounding area is a bit remote, making transportation inconvenient for those without a car. There's a small shop on the ground floor of the hotel selling souvenirs and snacks. It's about a 5-minute walk uphill from the hotel to the Grand Hirafu Base ski area.

Highly recommend! We booked this hotel at the last minute because we were worried our flight might be canceled, fully expecting to just cut our losses if we didn't stay. But wow, what a pleasant surprise! The soundproofing in the room is excellent. Even with a lot of foreigners drinking and being noisy outside that night, we couldn't hear a thing from inside our room. The women's spa even has a separate shower and a door that can be closed for privacy. Superb! The toilet wasn't far from the room either, and it was genuinely clean. The next morning, we picked up some groceries from the nearby supermarket and then headed to Setsu. Perfect!

Sunday was extremely helpful and transported us to the local train station at the end of our stay. Gustav was very helpful via email but the resort was uncontactable on arrival to arrange hotel transfer from the bus drop-off (reception phone switched to after hours message). Also could not get a taxi (none available on the app) so had to walk up the hill dragging luggage. That was our only complaint.

This is the best backpacker hostel I have ever stayed in! It deserves to be rated as high as 9.3 on Booking and Agoda. The owner Roy-san speaks very good English, is super friendly, world-class service level, ceiling-to-ceiling facilities, details and well-organized arrangements. The girls' quadruple room is large enough and super cozy. When you arrive on the first day, Roy will pick you up at the station. The room is full of skiing friends from all over the world. The first floor can store boards, dry snow suits and pants, etc. Roy will also drive everyone to the ski resorts (Hirafu, Hanazono) at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. I will definitely stay here next time I come to Niseko
