Mantiloc resort is a paradise. If you are looking for a relaxing time in a unique spot this place is for you. The staff are so kind and helpful, they make it an amazing stay. The half day boat trip is also well worth it and one of the best parts of our trip. The menu could do with being expanded, with more vegetarian and vegan options. Also a barista coffee option would make it perfect., though a nespresso machine was a available upon request

Pros: Our stay at Piece Lio was decent overall. The aesthetics matched the pictures online, and the studio was spacious with a lovely balcony view overlooking the rainforest. I really appreciated the Dyson hairdryer in the room, which made things much easier with long hair. The staff were friendly, polite, and kind, thank you guys! Cons: There were some small issues in the room, such as paint patches peeling off and small holes near the window shutters, which need attention, especially for a fairly new hotel. The biggest disappointment was discovering that there is no gym or spa, even though both are listed in the hotel’s description. This may not be a big deal for everyone, but it was for us since we had planned our trip around maintaining our fitness and relaxation routine. Instead, guests are given access to facilities within the same hospitality group. The gym and spa are located offsite, about 15 minutes away in town. While the hotel provides free shuttle service to and from that location, the drive feels much longer than expected due to island roads. The gym is small with basic equipment, and the spa, called Rituals Health and Spa, felt old and in need of renovation. Breakfast was average and not really to our liking. It was also inconvenient because most restaurants at Lio Beach do not open until around 10 a.m., leaving limited early morning options. We ended up eating at another nearby hotel restaurant, Molave, which was the only one open at that time. One of the staff members incorrectly told us there were other options available earlier, which suggests a need for better training and communication. Another issue was with a pre-booked van ride to one of the beaches. We had confirmed it via WhatsApp, but when we went downstairs, the staff had no record of it. To their credit, they handled the situation professionally and offered us a free one-way ride to make up for the inconvenience. Overall: The staff were warm and helpful, but management needs to improve communication, training, and most importantly, the accuracy of the facilities listed online. It feels misleading to advertise a gym and spa that are not actually part of the hotel. The lack of an in-house restaurant was also inconvenient, especially when you want a quick meal without leaving the property. If the hotel eventually adds its own spa and gym, it would be a much better experience. We did recommend it to friends for a short stay before their flight, but I would not suggest booking it if your priority is having fitness and spa facilities in one place. Overall, would return it they added the facilities! P.S. there’s cats! I’m not a cats person so it was a little uncomfortable to have them downstairs in the lobby area .

We stayed for a night at this hidden villa, and it felt like a true home away from home. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlight—absolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort. The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. There’s no TV, so if you’re traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway.

Kudos to Duty Manager Ms. Divine😇 she made our stay unforgetable providing extra mile beyond her duty and boundary🙏 Thanks much Food is great too, breakfast is never the same everyday. Our room is clean right after our 7am breakfast, never experienced that huh 😀 Lounges everywhere from the beach to the pool area, amazing beach front too within the vast property. Recvd a happy bday from everybody too, wondering how do they know. Will definitely be back here at SEDA LIO🤩

The hotel is located right on the main road, the audibility is enormous. All night long. There are no beaches nearby - be prepared to take a bike or taxi. Breakfast is poor and not tasty. The most important thing is not to ask for iced coffee at breakfast (there you can make it yourself: since there is coffee, milk and ice), and for the order they charged 220 rupees (450 rubles) - I have never seen such expensive coffee anywhere in the Philippines, even at the airport 150... The second negative is for ice in the room (to drink water with ice from the heat) - they ask for 50 rupees. I haven’t come across 3-star hotels where they ask for payment for ice, which you yourself came and went down for. Pros: the pool and the view from it, and the sky at night))) We stayed for 3 days.

I have to give the hotel staff 100 stars! They always greeted us with a genuine smile, helped us with our luggage, planned our itinerary, and arranged transportation flawlessly. Their thoughtful service was truly touching, and we will definitely be back next time.

The hotel is located by a street, so it's noisy. The room is tastefully decorated, and the bathroom is fine. The windows face a wall and the street, even though it's a deluxe version of the room. There's also noise from the hallway. However, what really disqualifies it is the sewage smell from the bathroom that fills the entire room and can't be removed, and the toilet door doesn't seal properly.

Nice place, excellent service, great and very friendly host. Highly recommended
