We just got back from Bali and stayed at the Hotel Nikko on a bed and breakfast basis only. It's a beautiful hotel, peaceful and relaxing. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Large pool area, sun beds and perfect view of the sea. Staff are very polite, helpful and provide an outstanding service. Excellent breakfast buffet selection. Variety of water sports option next door which we took advantage of. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Nusa Dua Bali.

The hotel is located within a large complex. There are many restaurants just a street away, and it's a pleasant 10-15 minute walk to the Collection mall, or you can use the scheduled shuttle service. The hotel isn't directly on the beach, but they offer regular shuttle rides to and from the seaside. Most of the hotel staff are very friendly, with the exception of a few at the beach. Every time I tried to buy a coconut at the beach, the staff would say they were sold out. And when I tried to order other drinks, they seemed quite annoyed. The room itself was spacious and very clean. They provide four complimentary bottles of water daily, and you can request four more. Any additional bottles after that come with a charge. During breakfast, you can see many small squirrels being fed from little wooden bowls hung on the trees in the restaurant.

Step out, and you're right on the beach, surrounded by dining, shopping, and markets. Very convenient. * **Room:** Generally decent. Cleanliness and the room itself were satisfactory. * **Dining:** The food overall was good, and breakfast offered a good variety. However, I have to complain that there was only Western and Indian food, absolutely no Chinese options. We tried a buffet and an Italian restaurant for dinner at the hotel's three restaurants. The prices were reasonable, and the food was decent. * **Facilities:** The swimming and water play facilities are absolutely top-notch. There are three large water play areas, easily enough to keep kids entertained for two days. The hotel has a rock and nightlife vibe, with the lobby acting as a large, very distinctive bar. They even offered complimentary bar drinks (which you can enjoy with your kids), which was a nice touch.

Facilities: There are many swimming pools with clean water. There's also a beach pool, a favorite for kids, and a small private beach – not ideal for swimming, but perfect for a quick dip. We really enjoyed our stay at Bali Tropical Resort & Spa — excellent value for money. The property is a bit older (you can tell it was built years ago), but it has been well maintained and partially renovated, so everything still feels in good condition and comfortable. Location is a big highlight: the hotel has direct beach access and it truly feels like the beach is part of the resort. The pool is large and has a swim-up/integrated bar, which is a great touch. The overall atmosphere is calm and relaxing — perfect for resting. What we loved most is how authentically Balinese it feels: beautiful décor, carved doors, wood furniture, and even two small temples inside the hotel, which adds a special cultural vibe. The staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. We also tried the spa, and we highly recommend it. You can find cheaper options outside, but the convenience and comfort of having it inside the hotel is worth it, and the prices are still reasonable. We ate at the hotel’s three restaurants and generally enjoyed the food. Small note: breakfast was okay but not as impressive as the rest of the experience—some items felt a bit basic. Overall, we would absolutely recommend this resort. Great service, great location, relaxing atmosphere — no need to look elsewhere.

Pleasant experience with this hotel but never stay long enough to give valuable feedback. However, from check-in to check-out, it was a seamless experience. Staffs are very nice. Upon entering the room, the taps, shower head, and toilet flush are very rusty & mouldy.. We requested for a change but water output was not better.. It was splashing in all directions, making washing up not a very pleasant experience. But you pay for what you get which was reasonable as long as water is clean.

The hotel is very conveniently located – close to the beach and a promenade. It's quite busy, but no one bothers anyone. In 5 minutes, you're in the city, with shops, a pharmacy, and currency exchange nearby. There are plenty of cafes to suit all tastes. The breakfast at the hotel is good enough. The hotel is no longer new, and they try to maintain it, BUT some of the power outlets didn't work, and some were broken. The room cleanliness upon check-in was about a 4 out of 5. The shower had no issues with water, the air conditioning worked, and the bed and mattress were fine. The room had good soundproofing. In the evenings, there were always some programs or performances. I didn't particularly enjoy the 'Balinese dinner' – everything was very spicy. I understand it's Asia, but they should consider guests' taste preferences. On the other hand, everything at breakfast was fine. Overall, despite some minor issues, I would recommend the hotel.

My stay at Renaissance Bali Uluwatu started with a hiccup, it ended on such a wonderful note that I would happily return. Due to a system error, I was given the wrong room type upon check-in, and unfortunately there were no vacant rooms available that day. However, the hotel team handled the situation professionally. The very next day, they upgraded me to their best room category as part of their service recovery, which I truly appreciated. What made the experience even more memorable was the genuine hospitality. The staff noticed it was my birthday and surprised me during breakfast by singing a birthday song. I was touched, although a little awkward too 😅. A special mention to Manager Aldi, who consistently checked in on me whenever we crossed paths around the hotel to make sure everything was going well. That personal touch made a big difference. The hotel itself is beautiful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The sunset views are stunning, the ambience is peaceful, and the spacious grounds make it a great place to unwind. My room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast team was efficient and attentive, and the overall service throughout the stay was excellent. The hotel's location is excellent; we could watch the beach sunset from the 6th-floor restaurant. After the sun set, it was just a convenient 5-minute walk to the nearby beach, and the evening glow was beautiful. The breakfast was plentiful, with both Western and Indonesian options. I highly recommend the coconut milk beef soup; its flavor was uniquely wonderful. For dinner, we ate at the 6th-floor restaurant while watching the sunset. We ordered grilled fish, but they didn't have the one on the menu and substituted it with blue marlin. It was grilled so tough it was hard to chew and had no flavor. So, the next evening, we went to the convenient Village Hotel next to the Fox Hotel for dinner, and it was delicious. Just about ten meters out of the hotel alley, at the intersection, there's a small shop selling various souvenirs, which are quite cheap and worth a look. The bottled water provided by the hotel felt like it was refilled, so I didn't dare to drink it. We bought large bottles of water from the small shop for drinking and brushing our teeth. The hotel was very nice; even though they were fully booked, they still allowed us to check out an hour late. Around 1 PM, the hotel lobby was breezy and quite cool.

Overall, everything was good. My kids loved the Kid's Club, and all the staff there were very friendly and helpful. Bali Collection provides a shuttle service through Holiday Inn, which was very convenient. The hotel is not located on the busiest street, but there are several restaurants within a few minutes' walk. There are also three mini marts just outside the hotel, which is very handy. The only downside was the kids' pool. It seems more suitable for children below 3 years old, as the area is quite small and the water slide is not very powerful. My friend's child and mine are both 8 years old, and they were unable to stand comfortably in the adult pool, which is 120 cm deep. That was a bit disappointing. However, I can honestly say that the service throughout our Bali trip was excellent. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Bali's hospitality was truly top-notch.
