The largest highlight of the villa is the restaurant on the third floor. The restaurant area is more than 100 square meters. It is estimated that there is no problem with accommodating 100 meals at the same time. There is also a projector that can be used for free. The second biggest highlight is that the kitchen is super large, and it is the professional configuration of the restaurant kitchen, which is convenient to accommodate multiple people to prepare dinner together and show their cooking skills.

I stayed in Qingdao for two days this time, and it was a good experience. I was assisted by Nicole. When I booked, the room type for the first day wasn't available for the second, so I ended up booking two different room types. However, I really didn't want to switch rooms. After I made my request, I learned that it would be difficult due to the New Year's Day peak season, but Nicole still actively helped and resolved it perfectly. The butler service was also very responsive and prompt. On the night before New Year's Day, I returned to the hotel to find they had even prepared a card. Banshan Huayu is a paradise located halfway up the mountain, where the air is naturally fresh. The lawn on the viewing platform is real grass, and the fragrance of lush green grass is refreshing. We had dinner at the large rectangular dining table on the viewing platform. It was covered with a white tablecloth and decorated with flowers and candles. Each plate had a blooming flower wrapped in a white napkin. There were two swings on one side of the lawn and a beautiful crescent lamp on the other. There were also many solar night lights in the backyard. It was such a romantic and warm homestay! The flowers in front of the door are in full bloom with a refreshing fragrance, and the aroma of the flowers and herbs and the fragrance of the private dishes satisfy your taste buds and relax your mood! The room is very warm and clean. The floor tiles and wall tiles in the bathroom are also very fashionable. There are fashionable and literary words on the windows. There are many hand-painted paintings by famous Qingdao artists hanging in the hotel lobby and rooms. The original wood sofas and coffee tables are simple and environmentally friendly. The pine balls placed in the straw trays are so creative. The whole homestay is full of literary and artistic temperament! Far exceeded my expectations! We arrived quite late, and although there was a half-hour wait due to maintenance, we were thankfully upgraded. Our new room offered stunning sunrise views directly from the bed and balcony, accompanied by the soothing sound of the tides. ✌ The room was incredibly spacious and featured a bathtub. A special mention must go to the hotel slippers – they are, by far, the most comfortable I've ever worn at any hotel! So plush and thick, it felt like walking on clouds! It's rare to find a hotel in Qingdao that boasts its own private beach! They even provided sand-digging tools! We were too tired at night, otherwise, we would have loved to go beachcombing for some fresh seafood. During the day, we spotted many small snails and mussels on the reefs. The sand itself is still very fine; it would be absolutely perfect if they could clear out the pebbles to make most of the beach stone-free! The views from the infinity pool were absolutely breathtaking! Breakfast was impeccable and incredibly lavish, even featuring natto! Funnily enough, despite numerous trips to Japan where I never quite acquired a taste for it, I found the natto here at The Lalu to be surprisingly good! My little one insisted I give it a ten-star rating!!

I've stayed at this hotel many times since it opened, and after nearly two years, the hardware facilities haven't been maintained very well, which I believe is related to the housekeeping team's management. Last month, I noticed a few issues that I forgot to mention in my review, and I hope your management team takes them seriously. Last time, there was noticeable mold at the base of the shower stall wall, and this time, the shower drain slope wasn't very good. Last time, I had to wait to check in at noon because my room wasn't ready, so I used the restroom on the 51st floor. While I was washing my hands, a cleaning lady came in with a large black plastic bag and dumped various empty beverage bottles into another sink. If it was coffee, she'd pour it directly into the toilet without even lifting the lid. Is this a 5-star hotel or a budget hotel's cleaning staff? The guest room cleaning also has major issues. Half-eaten snacks left on the nightstand from the previous evening weren't cleaned up the next day, and they were still there during the turndown service that night. I'm not sure how they train their staff. During turndown service, clothes aren't folded, and wet towels are simply refolded and left in the bathroom, which is a noticeable difference from other hotels. One evening, I ran out of tissues and had to ask for more to be sent to the room. The next day, after cleaning, the tissues still weren't put back into the dispenser, remaining in their original spot. I once chatted with a cleaning lady, and she implied that the pay for turndown service isn't great. If the hotel can't provide this service well, why not just cancel it? I've given feedback on breakfast before, and it has improved a lot, but it still doesn't compare to other hotels. As a customer who has stayed dozens of times in two years, the hotel hasn't had any concierges add me on WeChat to enhance service. Today, after checking out, I left my facial cleanser in the room, and they didn't proactively contact me. I had to call the hotel to inquire, and only then did they reply saying it was found. The front desk staff has changed repeatedly, and none of them have been as good as the previous ones. The free laundry service provided by the hotel is quite friendly for business travelers, but you can't get this package if you extend your stay on the same day. There are rumors online that Diaoyutai is going to delist; I don't know if that's true, but this current management team is indeed not up to par. There's still a lot that needs improvement.

The villa design style is modern, the space is large, the entertainment facilities are complete, the KTV sound effect is shocking, the board games and e-sports area also make friends have a good time. The most pleasant surprise is the private swimming pool and terrace barbecue area. At night, you can watch the stars while barbecuing. The atmosphere is full! The room was clean and comfortable, the quality of the bed was very good, and everyone slept soundly. The location is also very convenient, there are supermarkets and attractions nearby, you don't have to worry about eating, drinking and having fun. It is definitely a great choice for gatherings and team building. I have recommended it to other friends and will definitely come again next time!
