Great hostel, I had a great time. Two nights, a solo traveler in a 10 bed shared room. The room was quiet even though we were 10. There are curtains. A window in the room with a view on the mountains. The first day it snowed all day, I stayed inside, there are really comfortable sofas. The kitchen is really well equipped. There is a Sauna !!! The area is absolutely beautiful, with snow it's one of the best places I've ever been.

I arrived at noon and there was no one at the front desk. I called and said they would only receive me at 3 pm. It was windy and very cold that day. I asked her if she had hot water. She said no and told me to go to the isite to get it and wouldn't let me go upstairs. , I was shocked 😱. After I checked in, I found out that there is an open kitchen on the second floor, where I can make a pot myself! ! What does it mean? What do you mean? ? ! Didn't I express myself clearly? After sending my luggage, I saw an envelope when I came back, and I missed the reception time again! You have to take the keys by yourself🔑You have to carry your luggage to the second floor. There is no elevator🛗It’s very tiring🐶. Think about whether you want to live here by yourself.

There are snow-capped mountains outside the window, and the scenery is beautiful. The hotel facilities are very good, exceeding expectations. It is very convenient to climb Mount Cook! But there is very little food in this place, and there is no supermarket. It is best to bring some cooked food and bread and fruit with you. But please note that if the cooked food has a strong smell, you may be charged extra
