Hygienic: not very good, the toilet is dirty, the curtains are dirty, and there are stains on the sheets. The service was outstanding; all the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Once they knew we were Chinese, they'd often greet us with 'Ni hao, Xie Xie'. One front desk manager was particularly friendly, always stopping for a chat whenever we crossed paths. The staff seemed genuinely proud of the hotel and were happy to share details about its history and facilities. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5-star rating is that the view from our room's window faced the entrance rather than the beautiful garden, which was a minor disappointment. The hotel's overall ambiance and accommodation were very good. Given its historic nature, there was only one power outlet in the room, so I'd advise bringing a power strip. On the bright side, the room's soundproofing was excellent. The hotel garden is absolutely stunning and super photogenic. The afternoon tea was delicious and comes highly recommended. The hotel boasts an excellent location, with Victoria Park and the Pink Post Office just a short walk away, perfect for leisurely strolls. However, since Nuwara Eliya is a hilly region, the drive to the hotel involves winding mountain roads that can be quite bumpy.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and were thoroughly impressed by the excellent level of service. All members of the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. As we were the only guests during our stay, we received highly personalized attention. In addition, the hotel generously provided a complimentary room for our driver, which was a thoughtful and greatly appreciated gesture. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable for three guests, featuring one king-size bed and twin beds in the attic area. The hotel itself is approximately 150 years old and beautifully preserved, offering a charming vintage atmosphere in the best sense. Breakfast was of very high quality and served as a set course, which added to the overall refined experience. We highly recommend this hotel for guests seeking comfort, character, and outstanding hospitality.

首先想説一下將近¥3500的房費，性價比不是很高。預訂界面完全沒有展示這個酒店真實的樣子，入住後看到滿牆的頭像，覺得非常的恐怖，再加上各種設施老舊，整體住下來感受不是很好。 酒店衞生很差，好像沒有認真打掃，酒店浴巾甚至是深一塊淺一塊，再加上設施老舊，沙發上也可以看到各種污漬。晚上房間裏有3隻蒼蠅，打死了一衹不知道又從哪裡冒出來2隻。早餐也是各種蒼蠅環繞，吃了幾口就沒胃口了。 也就衹有酒店服務人員服務態度還算可以。總體來説不推薦。

It was a beautiful property with pretty large and spacious room. Room - 10/10, very large, clean and perfectly kept. The colonial style of all rooms was very unique and beautiful. Service - excellent service by staff and especially hotel manager, sudarshan who made us feel so comfortable. He was also able to arrange a cab for us from mirissa to here and from here to colombo at a decent price. Also guided us what to see around. Food - was good, had all varieties ( sri alankan/ english style) and service was quick and timely. Overall, a beautiful property with an interesting history of ownership ). Would definitely come here again !

The hotel is ok for folks passing through town. It has the feel of a B&B but the service of a hotel. Staff was friendly. The room was clean but dimly lit. The bedding had some stains and was a bit tattered. The temp got pretty cold at night but that is just a warning to anyone traveling in Nuwara Eliya and not a reflection on the hotel. I saw some of the other rooms they had and those were much better. We stayed in the Rose room, which they said was the delux room, but the other rooms looked much nicer. Breakfast was nice. This is a no frills hotel. Not luxury but still pretty good.

Especially good this place is perfect. In fact, I live in a villa, there is a housekeeper, especially good, and the food I eat is also very good. I lived for two days and drink the sea food soup every day. It was delicious and the room was especially clean. It was obvious that it was an old house, but it was really clean and it was very cheap. We two people, the appetizer, the soup, the staple food, and ate 155. The service is so good, the butler is very polite and gentle. Breakfast needs to be selected the night before. The butler also asked us if we need the menu of the main building there. He can get it back in 5 minutes, but I chose to eat here because I want to drink sea food soup. I will come out and ask what is the taste, delicious, really. I really like this place, quiet and fresh. Because I had to get up early in the Horton Plain, I told the butler the first day to take breakfast. It’s a great place to take a lot of photos, but unfortunately only 9 photos.

In my opinion, the operation of this type of boutique villa hotel really needs to have a smart head. The rise of social media makes it easier to promote your own brand. We love taking pictures. The hostess is also willing to share, this may be some group hotels are not happy with whichis many people punch in the lobby, may seem a bit noisy. This villa has 3 floors, about 10 rooms less than. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner here, and the food tasted good. But it is worth mentioning that we chartered here, and the boss will also provide the exclusive accommodation room for the chartered driver. This hotel in Nuvo was the one I was most looking forward to during the whole trip. After that, I was deeply attracted by the shape of the house. It was really beautiful! The room is also pretty good, super retro! Even the facilities are a bit old, and the sound insulation is not good. People outside the room can hear them. As for dinner and breakfast, they were eaten in a building next to the hotel, and they walked in the rain, making me tremble with frost! Hahaha hotel has a waiter who is very handsome, looks pretty European and American! Yes, there is a fireplace in the lobby. It's warm!
