If you want a place to just sleep then this inn is just right for you. The owner was friendly and accommodating. However, we had trouble finding the location as it was in between stores. The way to the inn is had stairs so we carried our luggages. The room is neat and tidy but smelled really old. The comforters smelled like it hadn’t been washed. The inn only provided sachets of body shower and shampoo so I suggest bringing your own toiletries.

The equipment is okay, the landlord is okay, just like the location is good, very close to the MRT, and also close to 101. Overall it's ok~

I didn’t know that I had to take the initiative to add a guest when I booked the room. I only found out the day before the trip that I added their guest in the middle of the night and returned within half an hour. The customer service staff didn’t sleep, haha.
The location of the room is super good. The room is pretty big for this price. It can be seen that it has been decorated with care. The bathroom is still separated from wet and dry, and it has a disposable toilet!
It’s really worth living in a room like this at this price. There shouldn’t be any other cheap places like this in Taipei. All in all, I’m very satisfied :)

There’s no counter and people right at the hotel. Everything need to be contacting with LINE. Need to use LINE to scan the QR code stick on the door of the main entrance and they’ll provide a password to enter the public area of the hotel and check in after 4pm (check in on LINE as well). It’s kinda cool, like an escape room, LOL!
The room is clean and great! Would recommend!

I came to play with a friend and the facilities were very good. The bathroom is clean and satisfied. It was quite high-rise, so it was good to see the outside scenery. There is also a washing machine and a kitchen, so it is easy to cook and wash.

This is a great place to stay! It's very close to the walking street, the train station, attractions, and delicious restaurants. The owner is amazing; they even picked me up from the station, helped me with everything, and recommended restaurants and places to visit. The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities.

3rd time staying in this hotel. Location is very close to subway so convenience is excellent. Room is much more spacious than the Humble Hotel in Xinyi area with much cheaper price. Gym is also better, and has a small swimming pool (I didn't try this time). However, I have a small suggestion for the gym to extend its operating hour (24 hours would be good like Humble Hotel). Service is super friendly as they remembered my booking details before so check-in was very smooth.
Room has bathtub, shower, a separate Japanese style toilet. Another thing I like specifically is how they treat water, every room has a glass bottle to get sparkling or still water from water machine on the same floor, apart from being friendly to environment, it also allows guests to take the suitable amount of water on their own without asking for extra bottles from the hotel.
I will come back next time. Thank you to all the hotel staff.

We booked this hotel as it had great reviews and it was pretty new, but it left us feeling a little disappointed.
Pros:
-Breakfast has great service and lots of good options, the semi-buffet menu was very nice, tried something new each day
-The location is perfect, right next to the MTR and surrounded by good restaurants and independent coffee shops. Nice and quiet at night!
Cons:
-The pool looks great, but there are a lot of tiles missing and falling off, and it was green around some edges. The gym is tiny!
-The service was very hit and miss; the staff that welcomed us and checked us out were very friendly and kind, but at other times we felt like an inconvenience.
-Housekeeping forgot to replace towels and dressing gowns several times during our stay. Rooms are dusty.
-The rooms are too hot, especially at night, making it difficult to sleep. Changing the temp on the AC Controls didn't make any difference
Such a shame as it has so much potential to be amazing. Would not stay again.

Not far from the MRT station, convenient food, except for a little noisy when someone passing by the aisle, in fact, they are very quiet and feel very comfortable. But there is one place where the most dissatisfied 😅 is why the shower head is hung up to 190 cm high. It is still difficult to get it on my feet. The push pipe lets the shower head fall and catch 😓, and it can't hang flushing (too high, can't hang), must be held in your hand 😭.

This time, room 303 is really small enough. It is not recommended for passengers with large bags. The room is as high as usual. The CP value is very high, and then the shower head seat that is so high that it is still towering into the clouds.

The location of the hotel is excellent . The airport bus stop just Infront of the hotel and if those who wish to go to Jiufen, the bus stop is just 100m away . Da an mrt station is just 10 mins walk away .
Breakfast was excellent . It’s cheaper to book room include breakfast . We stayed for our breakfast from 0800-1030 hours !
The only setback was we were not allowed to extend our checkout time by 1 hour as the receptionist claimed the hotel fully booked for the day but however if we wish to extend, we can but have to pay !From€128

We recently stayed at the Dinosaur Kingdom Family Room and transferred to a Premier Twin Room the following day. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The staff were consistently kind, helpful, and accommodating, which we truly appreciated.
We especially enjoyed the family room—it was thoughtfully designed and perfect for traveling with a young child. I had initially planned for a two-night stay in this room, but unfortunately, renovations were scheduled to begin the following day. This was a bit disappointing, as it made our time there feel quite short, especially with other activities already planned during our trip.
In comparison to other five-star hotels we’ve stayed in, I did find the lack of flexibility with early check-in a bit surprising, particularly for the themed room. We had hoped to settle in earlier, and similarly, the following day’s transfer to the Premier room was not available early as it was fully booked. While this was different from what I’m used to, I do understand that this may be part of their standard protocol.
On a positive note, we loved the buffet, and the rooms were very comfortable. The complimentary drinks were a nice touch, and the playroom area was excellent—clearly designed with families in mind. It was also lovely to see the hotel organizing activities for children. During our stay, there was a special event (like a children’s appreciation day?), where me and my baby were able to participate in arts and crafts and even received small prizes, which made the experience extra memorable.
The swimming pool was decent, though not very large, and the water was quite cold, so we ended up enjoying the bathtub instead.
One area for improvement would be cleanliness. We noticed visible dust in the room, which was concerning—especially since the room is designed for small children, and for someone like me who is diagnosed with allergies to multiple types of dust mites. I did raise this with Lara at the lobby, who kindly apologized and mentioned she would inform housekeeping. However, upon transferring rooms the next day, I still noticed dust in certain areas, which made me question the thoroughness of the cleaning.
Separately, I also observed that some toiletries (such as conditioner and lotion) were nearly empty upon arrival, suggesting they may not have been checked or replenished prior to our stay.
Despite these points, we genuinely had a pleasant experience overall and would consider returning. I’m also excited and curious to see what the next theme for the family rooms will be after the renovations.From€189

Value for money hotel, but I was amazed that the terrible lift situation was not mentioned more. They had only TWO lifts to service 13 floors worth of travellers, and I spent around 5-10 minutes each instance either queuing for the lift to go to my room, or waiting for a lift to come down. Really ridiculous waste of time, but other than that, hotel was alright.
Oh by the way, the hotel does not provide toothbrushes and toothpaste; they will direct you to purchase it from a vending machine.From€71

Room was big enough for 2 person and 2 small luggage, there’s even a sofa for me to lie down.
There was a small onsen like tub which was amazing although it was slightly stained with mold around the grouting (I used hot water to clean it then used the tub). Bed was comfortable!
Gym was alright, there’s a smith machine, weights, treadmills. Not very big and was actually slightly warm as it was summer when I went.
Service was fairly good. I sprained my ankle and they were very happy to provide ice, towel and pillow.
Plus points that we really like was they had free snack bar beside their hotel! Can try many different sweets, biscuits and jelly.
There’s a big carrefour nearby too!

The hotel is located near to the Zhongxiao Dunhua station (exit 3) and walking distance from Ming Yao Department Store, Taipei Dome, Songshan Cultural and Creative Park and National Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall. There are also many convenience stores within the vicinity and famous donut stores nearby. During our stay, we travelled by foot from the hotel to Pokemon Center Taipei, Taipei 101 and even to Linjiang Night Market.
The room is spacious. There are bathtub and shower in our room, but due to the law in Taiwan, please prepare your own toothbrush and toothpaste. There are also luggage weighing machine and coin-laundry machines in a small room on the floor where they serve breakfast. While not to expect a widespread of choices, I think their breakfast selection is a decent combination of local dishes and western options. Special mention that their pineapples are very sweet!
If you are interested, you may also check out over the counter on the selection of local products that can be ordered and delivered to the hotel. It may save you trouble to locate some of the famous brands in Taipei.

Shilin Night Market Taipei|4.49km from city center
The biggest highlight of our Taiwan trip, hands down. The Grand Hotel is truly one of the best hotels in Greater China.
As soon as we got out of the taxi, someone was there to greet us and help with our luggage, allowing us to go straight to check-in. I booked a room in the side wing. After taking the shuttle bus to the side wing, the only minor drawback was having to walk up a few steps, but it wasn't a big issue. From the room, you could see Songshan Airport and the Taipei city skyline. If you went up to the public areas on higher floors, you could catch the Taipei sunset.
The public areas were outstanding. Taking photos late at night, there was hardly anyone around. Walking through the grand and majestic lobby felt like an coronation.
Room size was also quite generous, and the hygiene was impeccable. The linens were spotlessly clean.
The service was very comprehensive and attentive, though perhaps lacking a bit of warmth.
The biggest issue, however, was transportation. For budget travelers, relying on the MRT is key, and getting from The Grand Hotel to the MRT station required waiting for a shuttle bus. However, there were also taxis available right outside the hotel, and Taipei's taxi fares are quite reasonable, so it was acceptable overall. All in all, an excellent experience.From€84

Hotel staff got my booking wrong and assigned me a wrong room category. The initial room was noisy and I could hear construction noise from the site opposite the hotel despite being up on the 18th floor. Soundproofing is rather poor as I can occasionally hear people's conversations as they walk along the corridor.
The lounge was a nice touch though the food offerings especially during the afternoon tea and breakfast service could be better. Service in the club lounge was generally good but could be slower during busy times.

I was truly blown away by my stay at the Humble House Taipei, Curio Collection by Hilton! Giving it a 5-star rating feels like an understatement. 💯
📍 **[Amazing Location]**
The transportation is incredibly convenient, right in the heart of a bustling area. Exploring and enjoying food and drinks couldn't be better! The city views from the window are also stunning – every photo looks like it's from a magazine. 🏙️
🌟 **[Surprising Details]**
Even though it's an established hotel that's been open for over a decade, the facilities are maintained as if they were brand new! From the lobby to the rooms, you can feel the designer's thoughtful touches everywhere. You'll want to take pictures constantly! The amenities are also high-quality – truly befitting a five-star hotel!
💁 **[Excellent Service]**
The staff are incredibly attentive and quickly resolve any issues. We even received welcome drinks upon check-in, which instantly made us feel valued and special!
📌 **[Practical Tips]**
1. Definitely choose a high-floor room – the night view is absolutely breathtaking!
2. The bedding is super comfortable; even light sleepers can fall asleep instantly.
3. Although it's an older hotel, the facilities aren't outdated. Stay with confidence!
4. There are tons of great food options nearby, so I recommend coming hungry! haha
All in all, I highly recommend this place! The value for money is exceptional, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Taipei! 🥰

Excellent and very accessible location. In Ximending area but not in the super noisy bustling area. Just beside the main road, with the bus stop and 7/11 just outside the hotel.
