The Front house of a fully fenced section @ the Junction end of town with walking distance to popular bars/restaurants. Unobstructed viewing inside through two large picture windows or outside on the private deck which you can enjoy from outdoor furniture or Spa Bath.
A generous master bedroom including ensuite access to the bathroom and internal access to the carport through a walk-in wardrobe. Walk-in wardrobe has a pull-out ottoman to sleep an extra small person that you will need to supply your own sheets for if needed.
Laundry doubles as a drying room to dry gear after outdoor activites.
Linen for the 3 beds are included as'well as bath and shower towels.
Under Floor heating available in bathroom.
x2 off street car parking included in x1 carport and x1 in-front of Chalet along side of shared driveway.
Manual sliding driveway gate with cabin hooks to latch open or closed at either end.
* No access to owners private dwelling at rare of property. Private skate ramp along side of owners barn dwelling can be used for a max of 2hrs per day between 11am and 5pm by booked guests. WELCOME

Situated just a 4 minute drive from the base of Mt Ruapehu (Turoa side), this rustic 3 bedroom Rangataua/Ohakune bach accommodates up to 7 guests at an affordable price – booking rate is for the whole place. It's not brand new and the TV is small but it's well set up for a simple, winter or summer, family/group holiday with; fully equipped kitchen, dvd player, harddrive full of movies, a few kids toys/crayons/books, slow cooker, clawfoot bath, board games, bushwalks close by, a garden to explore (sometimes with snow), and plenty of warmth from a kent fireplace. The house would comfortably accommodate a couple of families or a group of up to seven.

Activities/facilities nearby include: bush walks/cycling (including the Old Coach Road trail), Turoa ski field, 45min drive to Whakapapa ski field, the Tongariro Crossing, a short drive to Ohakune's supermarket/cafes/restaurants/bars, bike trails and a walk away from horse trekking tours. Perfect in summer and winter.

Your deposit is non-refundable. The remaining payment, including the fully refundable bond ($300) and cleaning fee ($100), needs to be made a week prior to your booking date.

A no cancellation refund applies from a week prior to your check-in date, however, your cleaning fee and bond will be refunded.

Bond Info:
A $300 bond is required (refunded upon leaving if the house is left as is and with no contents damaged/missing). The bond needs to be paid in full one week prior to your arrival date – please contact us direct for details on where to pay this to. Bond will be used to pay for repairs to damage incurred or to replace broken items.

Linen not provided: Duvet inners, blankets and pillows are provided, you will need to bring – bed sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases, port-a-cot sheets and waterproof mattress protectors if you have any bed-wetters. You will also need to bring towels, tea-towels and bath/shower mat.

Situated at the Historic Dreadnought mill, nestled amongst mature grounds with a magnificent view of Mount Ruapehu is this stunning high-stud, 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom genuine log lodge, which sleeps up to 10 guests. Natural timber interior and exterior and luxurious hand crafted furniture thoughout.

Relax in the super-warm open plan lounge with abundant seating, SKY TV, DVD player and surround sound system and stereo.

Enjoy dining on the superb log slab dining table and the fully set up kitchen has fridge/freezer, stove, microwave and small appliances.

Cosy enough for a romantic couples retreat or open it up for your group or families to enjoy.

The master bedroom has a stunning timber frame King bed and at night you can lie in bed and watch the mountain groomers working on the slopes!

This is a big alpine home in Ohakune but it is still rural so there is a huge garden to enjoy and it has exceptional views up to the mountain. A little path crosses the stream and there is a parkland of trees to explore. It is a quiet place for feeling the calm tranquility of the mountain, with loads of space for kids to build huts and run wild. 25 minutes to Turoa ski field. 20 minutes walk to Ohakune centre, 3mins drive. This listing is for the left hand side of the house. We also rent out a barn conversion on the property. This park is an amazing attraction, featuring a flying fox, an obstacle course, BBQs, a pump track, and even a swimming hole for refreshing summer dips. Here, you'll also find a variety of great restaurants to choose from, making it easy to enjoy local cuisine and vibrant dining experiences.

This bach is our happy place. Sat on 1/2 an acre it's an easy walk to central Ohakune's restaurants/bars/cafes and the supermarket.

After walking, snowboarding, skiing or mountain biking relax on the deck or in the spa with a view to Mount Ruapehu. When you are ready for more action go to the games room for darts, pool or foosball.

Both the bach and games room have heat pumps and TVs and of course there is wifi, plenty of parking, a drying room and heaps of wood for the fire.

We have one security camera aimed at the driveway parking area. Ohakune is a super base for regional events many that are held during the ski season Peak to the Keg and others over the summer period, famous Tongariro Alpine Crossing, Blyths track, Around the mountain hike, motor bike events, cross country encounters, rodeo, fly fishing, Kayaking, rafting, horse riding, mountain biking etc adventure on the River Road to Whanganui the alternate route to the Paraparas.
