Overall, this hotel was a superb experience. We arrived around 18.00 in the evening after a long drive. Unfortunately some technical error in their system required us to wait in the lobby for about 30min, but we were swiftly compensated in the form of free parking and a complimentary prosecco in the room. The room itself was beautiful. Amazing view, very comfortable bed and TV placement, a very long bathtub. The only mild annoyance was that the bathroom light was finicky to turn on and adjust. The spa is a must-experience, especially after a long drive from one side of Sweden to the other. It was excellent; nothing to complain about. The best thing about Upper House however, is the breakfast. I have never had a better breakfast experience anywhere else in the world. I would gladly stay again just to eat their breakfast menu. Very excellent stay, great service and great food. A solid 9.5/10 experience.

A great hotel, big and nice great rooms. The only thing I wasn't really happy with was the dining room. There were far too many people and too crowded for little space, but there was everything on the breakfast table. 

Gothenburg (pronounced ”Gothenburg” locally) It is a distance from the central station, but if it is a bright time, take the tram number 9 from the tram stop near the information center and take the Stenpiren tram stop. Get off at and walk for a few minutes. A taxi costs about 200 SEK (a little over 2000 yen, depending on the taxi company). Is the boarding time about 10 minutes in each case? The exterior was under construction when I went, but the lobby and the atmosphere of the room were satisfactory. The front desk is also friendly. ^ --^ Please note that there is a deposit here (because there are paid drinks in the room)! The breakfast was well kept warm and the taste was delicious.

The hotel is not bad and the breakfast is very rich. The young lady at the front desk is pretty and offers great service. However, the parking fee is too expensive, and the valet parking even costs 370 Swedish kronor. I looked for a parking space behind the hotel, which only cost 110 kronor.

This is a great place to stay if you are having a child-focused holiday. Its also a cool place for adults too. The bunk beds are great. The rooms are dark at night which is great because the sun never goes down in the summer. The breakfast was amazing—one of the best breakfasts I've had anywhere in the world. The bathrooms are spacious. The hotel is really new. The attention to detail in all aspects of decor and thoughtfulness of what makes a good customer experience have been considered. It connects to the theme park which is easy and great. The rooftop bar is cool. I would staff there again and recommend it to anyone. The only thing that could have been better would be a spot to drop luggage, there is no easy car access to the front door.

The breakfast was amazing! Many healthy options , gluten free, vegetarian and so much to choose from. I liked the twin room but found the single beds quite narrow and soft. The pillows were ok, a bit too soft and without much support for my personal taste. The room was spacious for 2 adults and 4 large suitcases. There was tea, coffee and sparkling water. The shower was great but too slow to drain, meaning water goes out of the enclosure and stays on the floor for a long time. We felt a little cold in the room but couldn't figure out how to turn on the heating or the heated towel rail. We were too tired to ask about it and just went to bed.

The hotel is very nice, clean and sanitary. The restaurant is very crowded with people, many people eat there, the surrounding environment is very good and the service is very considerate.

Super great hotel! It is recommended to book a superior room of 30 square meters, which is really large in Northern Europe. It is very cost-effective. The superior room has enough space to separate the bathtub and shower. It has double sinks and is very comfortable overall. The toiletries have a very special smell, and the Chinese character ”Jing” on the bottle is very friendly. The hygiene is very good, and the cleaning staff is also very easy to communicate with. Even if the room is full of people on weekends, the cleaning is very fast! The breakfast is good. There are free coffee machines on each floor, milk plant milk, as well as croissants, sandwiches, and snacks for you to enjoy. This is very special! You can enjoy the centuries-old castle architecture without leaving the hotel! The rooftop swimming pool is said to be good but I didn’t go there. I might give it a try next time! The location is undoubtedly the best choice for taking the train. The train station is very convenient for business and there are many restaurants and supermarkets. Accommodation is very convenient! Gothenburg is not big, but the Volvo Museum and the Art Museum are more worth visiting! special reminder! This city is nicknamed ”Little London” in autumn and winter because it is foggy and rains almost every day! But it’s just light rain, and it will stop for a while, so it’s best to bring a waterproof hard-shell windbreaker to wear over your down jacket! very important! This way you don’t need to bring an umbrella! The restaurant on the second floor of the hotel! delicious! The sommelier is an Italian guy who is very talkative and knowledgeable about wine. The wine pairings he recommends are very good! It would be great to stay in this hotel and go directly to the second floor for dinner. The set menu is very cheap at four to five hundred Swedish kronor per person for three or four dishes, but I personally prefer a la carte! Recommended raw beef tartare is delicious! Fried artichokes are delicious too! Flounder is also good! Highly recommend this restaurant! The restaurant is also very loving. It is closed on Sunday night in order to give homeless homeless people in Gothenburg an early Christmas and feel the warmth. All the restaurant chefs and service staff went to cook for them! On the big weekend, it was indeed Nordic style! Thumbs up!

The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk across the train station, with a multitude of food and shopping options nearby. We booked the family room, which is spacious, well-lit, and beautifully decorated. Check-in was convenient and smooth. Definitely recommended!

Great location near the train station. Room was excellent with amenities like refrigerator and service was adequate. Complimentary breakfast in a lovely restaurant and lobby was pleasant too.
