The location is excellent, the old town is within a few steps, and the train station is within walking distance. The interior of the hotel combines tradition and modernity. The swimming pool on the lower floor of the lobby is a highlight of the hotel, with moderate water temperature and a quiet environment. The hotel is affiliated with Marriott Group and the service is in place. After the guests check in, the front desk of the hotel must be praised by the non-luggage service staff accompanying the room. The service has not been experienced by the domestic five-star hotel. Breakfast Western style, small and exquisite environment, the only regret is that there is no Asian variety.

I forgot to put slippers in the room. When I checked in, I didn't tell the drink in the room that I could enjoy it for free and didn't tell the reception phone number! Fortunately, we stayed for 2 days. We can ask the staff to retrieve the slippers and inquire about the above questions on the second day. The staff service is polite and commendable. 👍🏻

The location is indeed excellent, right next to the cathedral. Other aspects are average. Some rooms on the third floor are on a mezzanine level, requiring an elevator ride to the third floor followed by a flight of stairs, which is a bit intimidating. I wouldn't recommend it for a solo female traveler. Also, the room is very hot; even with the air conditioning on full blast, it's not cool. There's a small refrigerator. The toilet in the bathroom is wall-mounted, and I'm always worried it might collapse. Breakfast is okay, a standard Mercure breakfast.

Booked this hotel because of the convenience. It’s right in the middle of everything in a very walkable city. The hotel is right next to the train station. It houses a historique elevator dating from 1912. The room we stayed in was a suite and it was perfect. It even had a bathtub with lights and jets. Would definitely stay here again.

I would especially like to note the buffet breakfasts, which are very varied, quite unexpected for France. You need to be careful because there are two hotels with very similar names in Rouen, so it's a good idea to double-check which one your reservation is for. At this particular one, we had a hard time finding the parking, as it's accessed through the same parking garage as the shopping center. On the positive side, the parking was open during our stay and we didn't have to pay anything. We also want to highlight the excellent service during check-in; the person who assisted us was very friendly and provided great service. Regarding the location, it's about a 20-minute walk from the cathedral and the historic center. It's perfectly walkable, although the path goes through an area that seemed a bit neglected to us and, especially at night, didn't feel very safe. As for the hotel itself, the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. We understand it's a low-cost hotel and our expectations were in line with the price, but it could still be much cleaner. On our floor, there was a huge cobweb right in front of the elevator door; my partner had to duck to avoid it every time we went out. Another negative point is that the rooms don't have any system to combat the heat: neither air conditioning nor even a ceiling fan. In the summer, having at least a fan would be greatly appreciated. The beds were fine, and overall, it can be a decent option for a one-night stay or a very short trip if you're looking for something affordable, but there are several maintenance and cleanliness aspects that should be improved.

This hotel is owned by the Best Western chain but has good personality - focused on the literary author Gustave Flaubert (who was born in Rouen). Rooms are compact but clean - big windows and blackout curtains - comfortable. Breakfast is an additional 19.00 € per person - pricey. The biggest plus is the location - in the centre of the old town, right next to the Jeanne D'arc memorial church and within 5-10 mins walk of most key sights. Staff were friendly, spoke great English (in case your French isn't good) and checking in was easy.

This was my second stay at the hotel, and it was a great value for money. It's conveniently located near attractions like the Church of St. Joan of Arc and the Big Clock, and there are plenty of restaurants around. The hotel is still very well-furnished, and the four-person room is spacious. It has a microwave and coffee machine for simple cooking. The hotel breakfast is still plentiful, delicious, and fresh.

Most importantly: security issues! This morning, a strange man entered our room, as if by mistake; we don't know how he opened the door! There are no glasses, kettle, slippers, or napkins in the room. I had a cold and needed hot water for my medication. One staff member was fine; he told me to fill it up from the coffee machine. Then, another night, another staff member rushed up to me and said that water wasn't allowed and that it was only for breakfast. The breakfasts were okay, typical for a small hotel.
