The hotel has a world class service, the lobby manager”Nancy Wang”王曉慧was very helpful and polite though out in our stay.We are a family of four people .We booked two rooms' Both rooms' views are top notch and amazing.all the furniture and facilities were pretty new.We mostly enjoy the bath area, there are a few moveable doors that you can see the Tang Paradise landscape view while at the bath tap. This hotel is a must visit, lastly, remember to carry the room card with you, there is sub-entrance at the hotel to access the Tang Paradise with security guards. All you need to do is to show your card to them and you can go through from the hotel to the Tang Paradise gardens and pots locations. We will definitely come and stay in this hotel again at our next holiday at Xian.We really had a great experience there during our stay.

The location is incredibly convenient, within walking distance of the Tang Paradise. The room is bright, spacious, and the bedding is so soft it feels like sinking into a cloud. Staff greeted me proactively throughout the hotel, making me feel exceptionally pampered – quite a pleasant experience! I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time. The service was so attentive; they even helped with my luggage. Five stars, no doubt. The view from the window was stunning. The room facilities were new and smart, even the toiletries were top-brand, and the hairdryer was a Dyson – the experience was simply amazing.

The location is far away, there is a long way from the hotel entrance to the room, don't think about the elderly or those with mobility problems, almost don't think about going out. The road is a stone slab, and the wheelchair can't be pushed. The hotel's toothpaste is expired. For breakfast, 6 people in our two rooms also gave a few less copies, and the store also let us have a free dinner to compensate. In addition, the dinner here also needs to be 600-700 alone? Plus, staying for two nights during the Qingming period, the two rooms cost nearly 20,000, which is very worthless. This is the case for Xi'an's homestay. It can't be compared with the coastal area at all. The most expensive is at this level. Everyone is cautious. The only highlight is that the place is large and the garden is large.

Very good, it was very quiet during the Chinese New Year, the environment was very good, both the private and public baths were available, the private bath for the king-size room was indoors, and the private bath for the twin room was outdoors, friends who are going there can pay attention

Extremely satisfied! Although the hotel is pricey, it's absolutely worth every penny. 1️⃣ Unlimited access to the Huaqing Palace scenic area. To be precise, the hotel is actually part of Huaqing Palace itself! And breakfast is served inside Huaqing Palace! The ambiance is fantastic. You get to enjoy Huaqing Palace all to yourself before the tourists arrive. In the evening, when watching the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' show, you don't have to queue with the crowds; you just walk straight in through a small hotel gate (since the show is also within Huaqing Palace). It's amazing! 2️⃣ The hot springs are incredible. Even though we booked a room without a private hot spring, there's a communal outdoor hot spring in the courtyard. The best part? There was hardly anyone there, making it feel like a huge private hot spring! After watching the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' at night, you can just step out of your room to soak in the hot spring, admire the moon, and watch the artificial snow falling during the show. So relaxing, and the water was perfectly hot and comfortable. 3️⃣ We received complimentary tickets to the Baoji Pool hot springs, and hotel guests can also enjoy the carbonic acid pool. Although the carbonic acid pool is a bit cooler, it has a big TV! We could eat fruit and multigrain porridge while watching a movie and soaking, and we even caught some snowfall – truly exceptional! 4️⃣ All the hotel staff wear Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) and have excellent attitudes. I was worried about getting cold watching the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow,' and they even provided a small blanket and hand warmers. There are also intangible cultural heritage craft activities, making it perfect for a hotel staycation! 5️⃣ The complimentary Jinghong travel photography service was particularly good, including makeup and styling. In winter, you can choose red or pink-blue Hanfu. The makeup artist and photographer were both excellent, and we received three free digital photos, leaving us with a wonderful souvenir. 6️⃣ The room also had a mini-bar, featuring Xi'an specialties like Bingfeng soda, sour plum soup, and pomegranate juice, making up for not having tried them elsewhere. There was also NFC orange juice, capsule coffee, and more. Most importantly, they offered a late-night dessert soup (wan'an zhou)! Enjoying two bowls of Yinhe soup after watching the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' was simply delightful. The quality of the complimentary fruit in the room was also very good.

I brought my family to Huaqing Palace to hike, enjoy the hot springs, and watch the performance. Our hotel experience was excellent from start to finish. The staff were very professional during check-in, helping us with travel and sightseeing, and check-out. You can tell the hotel has mature management, with timely and smooth communication. I was particularly impressed by the shuttle drivers' 'project management' skills – their response time was incredible! The guest rooms and facilities are spread out across the property, and it was especially cold with snow and wind during our stay, so everyone pretty much needed to call for a shuttle to get around. But I noticed that every time we called for a car, the wait was very short, which makes me assume other guests also had short wait times. Thumbs up! The overall room facilities are great. The tea table and arhat bed setup in Courtyard 9's rooms were beautiful, but I personally preferred the facilities in Courtyard 8. The lighting for the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance was fantastic, and it was truly remarkable that the performers braved the snow for the final show. It's a must-see performance. The hotel also offers some intangible cultural heritage experiences. If you want a complete and comfortable experience, I'd recommend staying two nights; otherwise, it might feel a bit rushed.

Reviews From Real Travelers
We stayed for two nights, on the 16th and 17th. On the 15th, I received a call from the hotel asking about our room preferences. I requested a room with a good view, non-smoking, and quiet. When we checked in, the staff assigned us room 213. This was the lowest floor I've ever stayed on in a hotel, and it was room number 13! I was surprised that the hotel actually had a room 13! How could an international hotel like this assign room 13 to a foreigner? During afternoon tea that day, besides my husband, myself, and an Asian mother and daughter, all the other guests were foreigners. This made me realize even more why I was so unlucky to get room 13! This hotel has such a unique room number 13, and they treat their own compatriots differently from foreigners! However, the smart toilet in room 13 was broken. It wouldn't automatically lift the lid or flush when you stood in front of it. What was even more unbearable was that as soon as you sat on it, the toilet would make a loud gurgling sound and automatically spray water on your backside. We tried it twice, and it happened both times. Also, the light switch was malfunctioning and didn't work. As a result, our room was changed to room 206. Neither room 13 nor room 06 had a French garden view; you could only see trees outside the window. Room 06 overlooked a concrete platform. I stayed during the off-season, and there were only a handful of guests at both afternoon tea and breakfast. Even during the peak breakfast time at 8 AM, there were only four tables with no more than ten guests. In such an off-season, why couldn't they offer us a higher floor with a better view? The male butler from the hotel called in advance on the 15th to ask about my room preferences; wasn't that just being insincere and fake? The staff's service level was inconsistent. Two female servers at afternoon tea and breakfast simply didn't observe guests' needs. The slim, tall female server in the afternoon tea restaurant had an ice-cold expression and no proactive service awareness. One female server in the breakfast restaurant looked like she hadn't woken up yet, with messy hair, no makeup, and ill-fitting work clothes, completely lacking the demeanor of a star-rated hotel employee. More importantly, this server didn't proactively observe guests' tables. Every time, we had to call her to take away the empty plates. Even more exaggerated, when she took away empty plates, she wouldn't simultaneously take away empty cups, nor would she think to ask. Let's talk about the problems with the breakfast restaurant: First, the flowers on the dining tables were fake! For a 'diamond-level' hotel like this, how can they put fake flowers on the tables? If they want to save costs, there are many ways: place some air plants or soilless succulents, or even small, easy-to-care-for plants. Anything real would be more tasteful than these fake ones. Regardless, a 'diamond-level' hotel should not have fake flowers on its dining tables. This is disrespectful to guests. Second, there was a wide variety of bread, but no chain-type toaster to heat the bread. This is usually a staple at the bread station in five-star hotels. Yet, at this 'super five-star' hotel, you can only eat cold bread for breakfast. Third, the restaurant only provided toothpicks, not dental floss sticks. Nowadays, even very ordinary restaurants offer dental floss sticks. A 'diamond-level' hotel like this should provide guests with dental floss sticks, and ideally, toothpick brushes. Additionally, the steps in the bathrooms of both room 13 and room 06 were damaged. In room 13, the hotel actually used cheap, uneven gray adhesive corner guards, which looked very out of place and clashed with the exquisite French decor. They should have used brass stair nosings! During my two-day stay at the hotel, Ms. Doris Du's kindness, politeness, proactive work attitude, and professional image left a very good impression on me. After we checked in and received our key, she led us to our room. She first gave us a tour of the hotel and introduced its history. On the day we checked out, she happened to be on duty at the front desk. She was the only staff member at the hotel who immediately stood up to greet guests upon seeing them! The only one! This small professional gesture of hers was like the first ray of sunshine in the morning, warming my heart! Recalling my check-in, there was a male and female staff member at the front desk. They did not stand up to greet us when guests checked in. When we received our room cards and got up to leave, they remained seated without moving. This is disrespectful to guests. Staff should stand up to greet guests when they arrive, ask them to sit down, and then sit down themselves to process the check-in. When guests receive their room cards and get up, the staff should also stand up to see them off. Such basic courtesies of polite welcome and farewell were completely lacking! On the day I checked in, I had two items of clothing that needed ironing. The female staff member who was on duty at the front desk that day came to our room to collect them. During the process of opening the door to see her, handing her the clothes, and briefly communicating with her, she maintained an ice-cold demeanor throughout, without a hint of a smile. She was not the only female staff member in this hotel who provided service without a smile. In summary, all these issues, and more, expose the hotel's unprofessional training and inadequate management. Sofitel Legend People's Grand Hotel Xian is not directly affiliated with the Sofitel group; it is part of the People's Grand Building owned by Shaanxi Urban Investment and Operations Group Co., Ltd., and is operated by AccorHotels, a French hotel management group. Therefore, the experience was vastly different from the Sofitel hotels I've stayed at abroad.

There are three hotels at 319 Dongxin Street. When taking a taxi, you should set your destination to ”Sofitel Legend People's Grand Hotel Xi'an.” The hotel is centrally located within the complex, and the building itself boasts a European classical style with Chinese artistic elements like Dunhuang flying Apsaras murals, making it grand and magnificent overall. The hotel offers ground-level parking. The concierge and front desk staff are highly professional. The first round of the mini-bar's soft drinks is complimentary and includes a wide variety: 8 soft drinks, 3 bottles of Tsingtao beer, and one chocolate bar. Breakfast is exquisite, and the service is attentive.

This is one of the top hotels in Xi'an, and the price has actually dropped quite a bit since it first opened, so even the Dyson hair dryers have been swapped out for Lefein ones. 😂 Check-in was a bit slow; I had to wait a long time and also pay a 2000 deposit because of the chargeable minibar. These little things were a bit off-putting. The service, however, was quite good. Items I requested were delivered quickly, and the pool was excellent with very clean changing rooms. The room itself felt a bit dated, but the layout was still very good. I booked a 'Stunning Room' hoping for a high floor with a view, but the balcony faced another building, so there was no view at all. Breakfast on the second day didn't have a huge variety, and surprisingly, there was a queue at 9 AM, which means it gets pretty crowded. Overall, it wasn't as great as I expected; it's pretty much on par with a regular hotel. It looks better at night.
- Yo_oyou
Overall, a very satisfying stay! First, a shout-out to the porters at the entrance. They helped us multiple times with luggage when getting in and out of cars throughout our stay, never overlooking us and always being very polite. The room facilities were also excellent. We were given a high-floor room, so the view was fantastic. The location is perfect for tourists, with the Shaanxi History Museum and Big Wild Goose Pagoda both just over a ten-minute taxi ride away. Finally, I would feel sorry for anyone who misses out on the W's Biang Biang noodles! All three of us, being from Shaanxi ourselves, thought they were delicious.

Pillow beside the glorious Tang, wrapped in cloud and mist – this is a spiritual practice most easily overlooked by design hotels, yet Canopy Hotel executes it like a poem. During check-in, I met a front desk lady named Cheery – what an apt name! Her smile brightened the entire lobby. As she handed over the room card, her fingertip gently brushed a osmanthus petal that had fallen on the counter, a movement as natural as if she were tidying the rhymes of a poem. Before even seeing the city wall bathed in moonlight, I was already introduced to a human touch more radiant than the moon. A hotel is typically just a place to rest, but thanks to such delicate service, it became a memorable landscape in itself. As I entered the room, I looked back and saw her slightly bowing to assist the next guest. The lingering sunset softly embroidered a flowing border on the shoulder of her uniform – like the living ribbons of a flying Apsara in a Tang Dynasty mural, embodying the modern professional's sharp wit combined with the ancient capital's thoughtfulness. Inside the room, the bed's support held a gentle parable of modern mechanics, and the duvet was as fluffy as the Zhongnan Mountains after fresh snow. The most delightful touch was the pillow menu: the buckwheat pillow rustled with night talks from 'Youyang Zazu', the latex pillow cradled the neck like a jade pillow treasured in the underground palace of the Wild Goose Pagoda, and the memory foam was the cloud Li Bai leaned on after getting drunk. Three narratives of sleep, quietly unfolding in the dark. Outside the double-glazed windows, the lights of the sleepless city flowed with the revelry of the Lantern Festival. The sounds were filtered into a thin tapestry of urban life – precisely the kind of hustle and bustle Zhang Zeduan would have placed at the edge of his 'Along the River During the Qingming Festival', proving the vibrancy of human life without disturbing the tranquility of dreams. I suddenly understood why the ancients always spoke of 'making guests feel at home' – true belonging, it turns out, is a place that can both offer rest for the body at night and carefully hold a traveler's heart that always yearns to drift towards the moon over Chang'an. - DeepSee

Fantastic location, right in the heart of the sleepless city, with evening performances right on the street! The hotel was decorated with a Christmas tree, instantly creating a festive atmosphere. The front desk service was excellent—patient, thoughtful, and always smiling. I also really liked the room they arranged for me. Darren's service was spot on, showing that the hotel's training is very successful. It's a hotel that offers great value for money and good overall cost-effectiveness.

I chose The Ritz-Carlton, Xi'an for my business trip to Xi'an, and it was absolutely the right decision! Even before I checked in, I received a pre-arrival call from my butler, Sophia, who carefully confirmed my itinerary and needs – so thoughtful. After checking in, whether I needed help from Sophia or Bruce, they were both incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to assist without any delay. A few days into my stay, I even received a follow-up call asking about my experience and if anything needed adjusting; their attention to detail was exceptional. The hotel's environment and facilities were impeccable. The room was clean and tidy, and all the amenities were high-quality, making it comfortable for both work and rest. The surrounding transportation was also convenient; it was close to where I needed to go for business, and it was easy to go out for meals and shopping. Upon check-out, the staff even thoughtfully prepared a farewell gift. Everything truly reflected the high standards of The Ritz-Carlton – it was so touching! My accommodation experience for this business trip was perfect, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Xi'an!

The Ritz-Carlton, Xi'an truly exceeded expectations! Our concierge, Sophia, was incredibly thoughtful; she called us before check-in to confirm our needs and even asked about our children's preferences upon arrival. The rare turndown service was a lovely touch, a testament to their consistently high service standards. The departure gift was also a wonderful branded item. The hotel environment is elegant, and the facilities are comprehensive and user-friendly, making for a very comfortable stay. It's conveniently located next to a mall and a metro station, making travel easy. I particularly recommend the breakfast; it's incredibly rich, featuring various local noodle dishes. A truly fantastic experience!

The hotel boasts a fantastic location right by the city wall, just under 100 meters to access and explore it. What's more, it's genuinely peaceful. I booked a room type with a private courtyard and a plunge pool, and the courtyard view was delightful. Soaking in the pool amidst the quiet ambiance truly made for a perfect, relaxing getaway. Breakfast service was very attentive; they even offered to pour our juice for us. Public transport, including subway and bus stations, is also within a convenient distance. However, on the first morning, after I'd gone out briefly and returned, I discovered that the housekeeping staff had thrown away my unfinished 1kg yogurt and a takeaway meal. This is absolutely unacceptable. Firstly, both items were clearly placed on the table, not on the floor or in the waste bin. Secondly, while the yogurt carton was indeed a bit damaged and open, the takeaway meal was perfectly sealed in its container, even had an unused disposable chopstick alongside it, and was further placed in a somewhat opaque bag that was tied shut. I simply can't fathom how housekeeping could possibly conclude that the contents of this sealed bag were meant to be thrown away. It's truly baffling why a hotel of this caliber would make such a basic, low-level mistake. While the hotel did offer a complimentary lunch as compensation, it has certainly made me seriously reconsider staying here again if I return to Xi'an.

An amazing find! This hotel is a quiet and peaceful haven in Xi'an. You wake up to bird sounds, not traffic. The staff is incredibly friendly. The lady boss is the best—she helped us take hilarious and memorable photos during our stay. She truly cares about her guests having a good time. Perfect for a special trip. Highly, highly recommended for couples or anyone celebrating a special occasion. This place has soul!

I was immediately impressed by the excellent service as soon as I stepped into the hotel. The staff greeted me warmly, made me feel welcome, and ensured my check-in was smooth and efficient. They even went out of their way to help carry my luggage to my room, which allowed me to focus on taking care of my kids. My room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. We had a fantastic time during our stay, especially enjoying the indoor hot spring in our room – it was such a relaxing experience. The only downside was that we didn’t get to try the outdoor hot spring due to the rain, which is a bit of a missed opportunity. Hopefully, we’ll get to experience that next time. Overall, the hotel provided an unforgettable and relaxing stay!

The hotel's overall environment is great. It's right next to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Datang Everbright City, Joy City, and a snack street, making it super convenient for food, drinks, and entertainment. In the evenings, you see lots of pretty girls dressed up, and there's even the Qujiang Museum on B2 worth exploring. A really good experience!

This hotel is located right in the heart of Xi'an, super close to many attractions, especially the Bell Tower – just a 5-minute walk! There's also a subway station right outside. The front desk staff, especially one lovely lady, was incredibly warm and helpful; she even arranged a late check-out for us and gave us a souvenir. The afternoon tea and breakfast were both excellent. Plus, the laundry room and gym are open 24/7, which is a huge bonus. Highly recommend! I'll definitely be back.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's directly accessible from Exit B of Longshouyuan Station on Metro Line 2, making it super convenient to get to scenic spots and shopping malls. The hotel service is exceptionally thoughtful; they called two days before check-in to ask about our needs, added us on WeChat to share important information and travel tips, and were always ready to help. The hotel itself is very spacious and bright, and the cleaning staff were always prompt and provided excellent, enthusiastic service. After checking in, the guest relations team continued to assist us via WeChat, which made our trip relaxing and enjoyable. Our time was short this trip, but I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Xi'an. The experience was fantastic!

This is a famous hotel in Xi'an, historically known for catering to international guests. The facilities are excellent, and the rooms are spotlessly clean. The beautiful surroundings, with their lush greenery, made for a pleasant stroll with our child. The service staff are highly attentive and professional. A special shout-out to the duty manager on Friday; she was absolutely amazing. She not only resolved our problem and eased our worries but also upgraded us to a suite. Her patience with guests was remarkable. We'll definitely be staying here again on our next trip.

I had a wonderful stay at Eastern House hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything I needed. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The location is excellent, with easy access to nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants, which made getting around very convenient. Breakfast was also delicious with a good variety of options. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to others. I would definitely love to stay here again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The hotel was clean and the rooms were really comfortable. The location is really convenient there are so many restaurants and stores near and there are also many metro stations so is easy to reach other parts of the city. There are 2 shopping malls a few blocks away from the hotel. The Muslim quarter and the bell and drum tower are aprox 15 min by bicycle. The front desk ladies were really helpful and even allow us to get a late check out for free and when we did check out they gave us a gift which was really nice. Negative point i would say is that if you order take out on ******* or other apps you need to go down by yourself, they don't have a robot to bring it to your room.

Holiday Inn Express Xi-An Bell Tower is an epic stay!!! The entrance is located in the corner of a major street (more silent), the staff don’t speak great English, but they try their best to help you and your family! The rooms are grate, clean, modern, with frigobar and safe, desk with light, side table to lunch, lots of amenities, different pillow softness to chose, perfect size bathroom with TRESemmé products. Also the hotel offers welcome drink and basket of fruits, full time free bottles of water, in the reception and in the floors! The breakfast is perfect, lots of options, international and traditional options! The location is like steps from Bell Tower, next to the metro, central, perfect! You will love staying here!

Hotel is nicely located near Huiminjie @ Muslim Quater. Everything about the stay was pleasant except for the wifi. The connection was extremely slow. I needed to get some work done, and in the end my hotspot worked much better. Another issue was the centralised aircon system. During winter, it kept blowing warm air and the room felt quite suffocating. When I asked for help, the reception staff simply advised me to switch it off. Even with the aircon turned off, the room still felt stuffy. For those arriving by Didi, use the hotel’s main address from drop-off. If you use the “allocated” address shown in the app, the driver may drop you far from the actual hotel entrance and you’ll have to navigate the rest on your own. Overall, the stay was fine but these issues made it less comfortable than expected.

I thought the experience was overall very positive. The rooms are quite spacious and very clean. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. A young woman at the front desk named 小干 helped me check in and even let me take a look at 2 different room types as I was unclear on the difference and wanted a room with a good desk and chair to work on my laptop. For the price point, this hotel is 10/10.

International Exhibition Center/Chanba Xi'an|10.85km from city center
The environment is decent, and the venue is suitable for events and conferences. I even happened to catch a new car launch when I checked in. The room itself is quite spacious, but the furnishings and fixtures feel very dated. Not quite dilapidated, but definitely old-fashioned. The towels, in particular, were frayed and shedding. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired; it just didn't seem clean, especially the countertop around the bathtub, which looked like it hadn't been wiped down properly and felt very haphazard. Breakfast was just average, but the cleanliness of the restaurant tables and chairs was also quite unsatisfactory. Overall, it's okay for an event venue, but for personal stays, the room's hardware probably isn't even on par with a 400 RMB mid-range business hotel (and I paid over 600 RMB). The only highlight is the hotel's location at the delta, which allows for pleasant walks along the river. For those who prioritize modern facilities and up-to-date amenities, I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Location near to bell tower but need to walk to main road if you take didi, and the reception will not help on this. Clean room but smelly due to humid, cleaner are super helpful but the attitude of these reception (except the young lady in evening shift) are all are “Manxin”, not up to the standard. Overall ok, but you could get better service if you choose other hotels. Also, no gift and room upgrade as shown in reservation, like fake advertising.

Datang West Market/West Xi'an Xi'an|3.84km from city center
I stayed at this hotel during a business trip to Xigong University, and it was quite good. For around a hundred yuan, it's economical, practical, and offers great value for money. What really stood out was how clean the room was, especially the sheets which still had laundry tags – something that's often a concern with many budget hotels these days. This really put my mind at ease. After work, we even managed to squeeze in a visit to the nearby Datang Xishi Museum, which was lovely. Overall, it's excellent. The surrounding Datang Xishi shopping center is also very lively, with plenty of dining and entertainment options. The subway lines 5 and 6 right outside the door make it super convenient to get to the North Station, which is perfect for business travelers like us. Full marks!

Everything is good. They only have one washing machine and heater. So we need to wait for some time to wash our cloths as we stay over there for one weeks. Remarkable service from Soon Xiao Ni and the crew provide daily breakfast. She is professionalism, attention to detail, and kindness made a big difference. I truly appreciate her dedication to her works.

. Man Xin Changanli Hotel Xi'an Bell tower was a gorgeous and modern hotel. The room was beautifully designed in warm colors and there was plenty of seating area--including a cute little tatami sitting area. The windows were floor-to-ceiling, with automatic curtains that move with a slight tug. The staff were very friendly. The view outside the window is an interesting picture of the city wall, but it wasn't very pretty--just the brick wall and little bit of the events on the top. The beds were too firm for me, but I'm used to softer beds. My friend said it was fine for her though. Despite how beautiful the room is, I would not stay there again. The temperature in the room would not go below 29c, even with the air conditioner turned on. When asked if they could come fix the A/C, the staff said this room was more ”natural” and people don't really use it, so there wasn't anything they could do. We had to open the windows to keep cool. Additionally, the air conditioner was so loud that when I first heard it, I thought someone was rolling a cart down the cobblestones outside the hotel window. It was almost as loud as the construction happening directly outside our window. Speaking of the construction, it didn't start until 7 or 8 pm at night and went through until 3-4am. Couldn’t close the window without turning the room into a hotbox, so it was extremely noisy between the sounds of the machinery and the workers shouting over it. I'm a light sleeper, so it was nearly impossible to sleep. Between the heat, the noise from the air conditioner, and the noise from the construction, I got almost no sleep during my three day stay. So it's a lovely hotel, but it's too noisy and uncomfortable.

The environment is very good. It is in the downtown area. The Bell and Drum Tower is right outside. You don't need to order takeout for supper at night. There are all kinds of snacks downstairs. It is very convenient. They also gave me a souvenir gift before I left. I was very happy.
