Turtle Bay Dive Resort Map, Address, Transportation & Nearest Stations and Airport

Nice resort near beautiful White Beach in Moalboal. Perfect for people who like lounging on the beach, diving, and/or want a stress free vacation in a resort. It’s about a three hour drive from Cebu City and about an hour away from the typical tourist attractions in Moalboal (hence 4 stars for location). They provide basic soap and shampoo so I’d suggest bringing your own toiletries. It’s better for the environment!

We stayed from October 20 to 24, 2024. We really liked the hotel, we took a room by the pool. The room was cleaned without asking, everything is clean, there is shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, normal jars, not disposable bottles. The room has a safe, a refrigerator, a water cooler and even a capsule coffee maker with coffee and cream capsules. Breakfasts are a special respect, they make an omelet, fried eggs, pancakes, fresh warm bread, a basket of fruit, natural yogurts in the refrigerator, you can make toast. The cutest are the parrots, the green one is so funny, when you come up, he says hello, and very tactile, lets you stroke his beak and tummy. There is billiards, a gym, everything is free. It was even a pity to leave this hotel. And there were also welcome fruits, very nice. We had dinner 2 times in the hotel restaurant, everything is very tasty.

Facilities: Hot water shower and air conditioning are good. But there are no other facilities in the room, no kettle, no hair dryer. You need to bring your own kettle, or go to the front desk to get a cup and pour water. Hygiene: The room is cleaned every day, but the swimming pool is open 24 hours a day. I don’t know how to maintain it, so I didn’t dare to go to the swimming pool. Fortunately, it’s close to the sea, so you can just swim in the sea. Environment: Both entering and exiting require a long and rugged road. Close to the sea, you can go snorkeling. It's just a hotel, without any star-level services provided, and there is a service fee charged at the end. It is incorrect to list it as a top-ranked local four-star hotel on Ctrip. There should be more options. Service: Unlike the diving shops in Bohol, there is no safety officer here. We took part in the snorkeling activity, because we went with divers, the guide was not very enthusiastic. There is no introduction leaflet for the event to refer to. However, it is indeed convenient to go to see the sardines. You can just take a boat and join the activity to get there. No need to go around town. Special reminder: this fee is not deducted by Ctrip, you need to pay in cash at the store. There is a reminder in the order, please be sure to bring enough cash.

Great place to be. Amazing beach that’s called the Mushroom rocks. You can observe it during the stay. Amazing view from the beach or from the rooftop bar where you can see the other island, sea in all of its beauty. Aaaand don’t miss a chance to observe the stars out of terrace. It’s amaaaaaazing. Restaurant’s right on reception. The food is tasty, especially we liked spring rolls and Wild Orchid omelet. You can chose any table you like (right in front of the beach, on a cafe territory, the rooftop bar or the number balcony. Pool on common territory is wonderful. Clean, different depth, instagramly. But the best thing, there are no people or maybe few. Nice staff on reception and kitchen. Clear, comfortable room. Nice place to come back!

It's ok though there's like loud music from a near by place, the air conditioner it was low so I had to use my own fan. It was quite difficult to get to the upper bed. The staff are good. I didn't like much the vibe of the town as is super touristy, ran out by Europeans or foreigners. So I don't recommend this town. The hostel itself is ok. It doesn't have a kitchen where you can cook. Has quite a beautiful common area.

Great experience overall; the hotel is in a quiet area, but close enough to the restaurants and bars area; service is always friendly and helpful. Just need a motorbike ride or a tricycle. Facilities are clean, and are spacious and lovely, with a nice restaurant and the beach just downstairs. We didn’t try the dive, but the snorkeling in the turtle bay was fun. Delicious and abundant breakfast too. Rooms are clean, cozy and the AC and wifi work perfect. As for the things to improve, we ran out of water the first night, and the water pressure is just so so. We also found most of services a bit costy compared with prices in town -food, transportation, dive services,etc.-. Other than that, it was a great experience that I’d recommend.
