Book "Modern Family Holiday home with sensational views peaceful paradise (sleeps 11)" now
Very good a hotel apartment, very warm design, perfect facilities, neat and clean, just like your own home. Enjoying the sun on the balcony and drinking a glass of beer is life. The weather in Wanaka is too good. The hotel service is very nice and responds to requests. Also the washing machine comes with disposable detergent, too courteous. The bed was also very comfortable, the shower water was large enough to shower and shampoo very comfortable. Hope to have the chance to stay again next time.
2 rooms and 3 beds. Everything is good, especially this room has a garden where you can bathe in the sun and have breakfast in the morning. The host was also very polite and wrote a welcome letter, and also left fruits and wine for us, which made us feel very warm. It feels like home
The room is very large. The separate room is a suite. It is very comfortable in the town. It takes only ten minutes to walk to the lonely tree. There is a supermarket in the town where you can buy vegetables and cook by yourself. I recommend everyone to stay.
Got room 108, which was a pleasant surprise! The balcony opens right out to the lake and lawn, and the entire hotel is simply stunning. It's just a ten-minute walk to the 'lone tree'. The suite's amenities were very complete, and I even woke up early the next day to catch a glimpse of the golden snow-capped mountains. Next time I'm in Wanaka, I definitely need to stay a few more days!
An absolutely wonderful experience! The hotel's surroundings are incredibly beautiful. Inside, the decor is very unique and charming, with a lovely little garden and a pool. The front desk even gave us welcome cookies when we checked in, which was a really nice touch.
Nice and clean spacious room. Location is a bit far off from the town centre, not too bad for us cuz we drove, about 5-10min. Good for those who are looking for somewhere quieter.
Very cozy room, spacious with a balcony, and the heating was excellent. It has a rustic charm, with a metal key for the door. The front desk closes quite early, so if you have any issues, there's no one to help.
It seemed there was no hot water for showering, and again, no one around to resolve it, which was a shame.
Breakfast was extremely basic, haha, so be prepared!
This hotel in Wanaka is really great. We're a family of three and booked a quad room with bunk beds. We were mainly there to enjoy the beautiful scenery, so the accommodation was secondary. This hostel is very clean, almost like a hotel, just with bunk beds. My parents are quite agile, so sleeping on the lower bunk was more convenient for them. Plus, the communal kitchen is excellent and you can even cook there. If you have more money, you could book one of the detached private rentals next door. We went in January, which is peak season; February might be even more expensive. The private rentals were five times the price of this place. I think this hostel is a much better value, and it's in a prime location. It's also super convenient if you're taking InterCity as it drops you right at the hotel entrance.
We stayed at a motel in Wanaka. The owner was very welcoming during check-in, explaining the surroundings and the supermarket's location, which made us feel right at home. The room facilities were great, and both the bathroom and kitchen were spacious. So we bought some groceries and cooked a delicious dinner. Overall, it was a good experience. Recommended!
The room is clean and cutlery and utensils are spotless. Near the town centre, easy to get food. There is a stream behind the room. Lovely. Room is spacious. There is free Netflix in the room. Will definitely recommend.
We had an excellent stay. The room and whole property are immaculate. Extremely clean and comfortable bed. Kitchen with dishwasher and mini fridge was great to have. Very welcoming and warm service.
Location is a bit of a drive from the lake but there is plenty of parking around the busy area so it was easy.
The loch is a bit old, but the experience is good. Go to the lake for 8 minutes, then walk to the lonely tree for about 20 minutes, and walk after dinner is just right. It is also close to the supermarket restaurant. There are two sitting rooms where you can sit down and read. There is a small balcony in the room, you can see the snowy mountains across the lake.
Ctrip did not give my email to the store, so I did not receive the check-in guide. I consulted other guests before I knew that the key needed to be picked up at another store at the entrance of the town. At that time, the road at the entrance of the peak was basically impassable. Finally, I walked back and forth for half an hour to get the key.
Great location with parking, though it can get quite full. It's a short 5-minute walk to the lake, and there's a supermarket right across the street with plenty of restaurants nearby. The room only has a microwave and a fridge; no induction or gas hob, and not many other appliances. The main door is more like a balcony door. Being on the ground floor was fine, but if you're on the second floor, you'll have to carry your luggage up the stairs. All the emails and written notices stated that check-out was at 4 PM, but upon arrival, we were told it was 5 PM. I heard that for after-hours check-in, the key would be in a safe near the front desk. The toiletries provided (hand soap, shampoo, and shower gel) are all honey-scented, which was an interesting experience. The front desk was manned by a kind grandma, and I think I saw a grandpa doing the cleaning.
Everything else was great, but I'm not sure why there were a bunch of unwashed bath towels left in the washing machine in the room – that felt a bit off. Also, there's no elevator, so if you're on the second floor, you have to lug your luggage up and down.
