One night stay nice room with tea making facilities in room very warm even with window open shower small and only Luke warm water lots of noise outside talking shouting till 1.30 in morning then again at 3.30 wasn’t happy Food and service very good

The Foinavon has recently been taken over by Kenny and Jo previously of The George & Dragon, Upton. Three of us went for Sunday lunch today 18 June 2023. The restaurant is very nicely decorated light and spacious with a good atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food we ordered, 2 x roast beef and roast pork came with all the usual fresh vegetables in fact 5 veg plus the usual roast potatoes and yorkshire pudding, all nicely presented. I spoke to the landlord about the rooms for a stay and was given a personal tour. The rooms are lovely, beautifully recently decorated and the ensuite bathrooms too. We have already booked for next Sunday. We wish Kenny and Jo every success with this new venture.
