What a great experience, thanks to the full support of The Lodge at Camden Hills. Reservations were easy and delivered with a personal touch. The rooms were spotless and nicely appointed. All the extras were offered, and the services were ready for our arrival. The sauna is beautiful and was a welcome respite after an active day outdoors. Mount Battie, The Place Bakery, Camden Deli and the yards and porches of The Lodge at Camden Hills are some of our trip highlights. From 60 years old to 16 months old, it met our needs. Our pup, Betty, loved it too. Mary Jo is a gracious host and met our family's needs in every way. Sure, the nearby McMansions are nice, but the wholesome and very relaxing environment at The Lodges is just what we were looking for. I highly recommend The Lodges at Camden Hills. This is our "go-to" when we visit Camden.

We booked a weekend in February 2025 for November 2025. Refund policy advised cancellations for refunds cannot be issued within two weeks of reservation date. We canceled August 22nd. We received a check for the deposit minus $30, and we were told it was the credit card fee the bank charged. After a few e mails we agreed on an additional refund of $25 and that a check would be sent out. We never received a check. Multiple calls and e mails have been ignored. Frustrating at best. We have stayed there multiple times with no issues and have recommended others to as well. A customer and recommendations lost for $25.

This was the perfect spot for my husband and my trip to Maine. The location is perfect... Camden is a beautiful town with well maintained historic buildings and lots of flowers in the summer. We stayed in Kennebec cottage which was perfect for the 2 of us for a week. It is very thoughtfully appointed with a comfortable sitting area and perfect small kitchen area. We actually cooked and found everything we needed to prepare our food. (Grocery store in town is tasty but somewhat limited. Try Hannaford's in Rockport for more selection.) The bedroom and bathroom are comfortable with nice linens and a comfortable mattress. The wall AC and box fan were perfect to keep us comfortable. There are two cute balconies off of the main sitting area. The area seems very safe and we kept the windows open most of our stay. The manager, Mary Jo, provided us with the BEST restaurant recommendation and is on site for great responsiveness. Definitely a place we would stay again, summer or winter!

We stayed in the Penobscot cottage and the it was exactly what you’d hope for! Beautiful view of the bay from the porch where a small sitting area was set up. Extremely private. Staff was readily available, but not in the way. Well equipped kitchenette and comfortable sitting area by a two sided fireplace. Close to town and to hiking. Absolutely recommend!

My husband and I greatly enjoyed celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary at The Lodge at Camden Hills. The hot tub was fantastic! We enjoyed the double sided fireplace. The kitchenet was well stocked. The atmosphere was relaxing. We will defiantly return, and highly recommend The Lodge at Camden Hills.
