매우 자연 친화적이고 태국스러운 분위기의 호텔입니다. 나무가 많아서 개구리 도마뱀 새 물고기 달팽이 등 동물 곤충들을 많이 볼 수 있어서 아이가 행복해 했어요! 호텔 수영장은 작지만 바로옆 조식당에서 선라이즈를 보며 식사하는데 천국이구나 싶었습니다. 직원들이 친절하고 좋았습니다. 다만, 미리 트립 닷컴에 문의해서 아이와 함께 배드를 쓰는 조건이면 조식 요금 500바트씩 2일 총 1000바트의 추가요금을 내는 것으로 알고 갔는데도, 체크인하고 조금 있다가 직원이 아이 추가요금 2000바트씩 4000바트를 내라고 하더군요. 그렇게 예약하지 않았다고 설명하니, 1500바트씩 3000바트로 해주겠다네요.;;;; 엑스트라 배드 필요없고 배드를 함께 쓸꺼다 강하게 말하니 그제서야 조식 추가요금만 1000바트 사인하라고 했어요. 기분이 상했고, 미리 호텔측에 문의하고 답변을 받았는데도 휴가가서 이런 실랑이는 정말 불쾌합니다. 미리 문의하고 알아보고 가도 또 같은말 해야하고 따져야 하는게 피곤하고 기분상해요. 예약고객의 문의사항과 답변을 메모해 놓으셔서 이런일 없는 태국의 베스트 호텔로 발전하기를 바랍니다.

My family and I recently stayed at Dara Samui Beach Resort (Adults Only), and we absolutely loved our experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The staff were truly exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. Special mention to Ammy and Abigail (I believe that was her name) at reception – they were incredibly helpful and always greeted us with a smile. Jackson, one of the waiters, was also amazing, providing fantastic service and making our dining experiences extra special. The entire team at Dara Samui treated us like family, which made our holiday even more enjoyable. The beachfront location is stunning, offering a lovely and serene setting while still being close enough to all the attractions, shops, and restaurants without the noise and hustle. One of the highlights of our stay was the beachside dinner setup, which was beautifully arranged and created such a romantic and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained, and spacious, providing the perfect blend of traditional Thai charm and modern comfort. The housekeeping team did an excellent job ensuring everything was spotless throughout our stay. We cannot recommend this hotel enough – whether you're visiting as a couple or with family, Dara Samui Beach Resort is a perfect choice for a relaxing and unforgettable getaway. We will definitely be returning!

The villa room type was excellent overall and offered great value for money. The room was quite spacious (much larger than the photos suggested). It actually featured two beds – one large and one small – which was ideal for families. Its location was also superb: right on Chaweng Beach and just off Koh Samui's busiest main street, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Despite the central location, it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful at night.

We absolutely loved the hotel. We ordered the deluxe room with outdoor bathtub, and they gave us a small room, so I suggest you check you got what you paid for. We asked to change rooms and after that everything was amazing. The breakfast is good, there are free yoga and Pilates classes, the location is great. Would really recommend.

Cheap but really small! If you’re not going to have a long stay, it’s a great choice. Staff are friendly and helpful. There’s not a kettle and hairdryer, but you can have 2 bottles of water for free. Nice rooftop swimming pool, but it’s extremely small. There’s also a restaurant and bar on the roof. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday you can have free buffet food (as much as you want) if you buy any drinks 🍹 We’ve booked a room with the balcony, we got it on the first floor and everything would have been perfect if there hadn’t been a smelly pond or basin, whatever. It was impossible to stay at the balcony and enjoy fresh air, unfortunately. The location is great, the beach is 5 minutes away, there’re a lot of nice cafes and restaurants nearby the hotel. If you wanna have a perfect breakfast, you have to find Doi Chaang Coffee! They have the best breakfast in that area for only 129 batt. So, I would recommend this hotel for a short stay, great value for money!

I took my baby and parents on vacation, so I wanted to find a room for four people. The hotel is great, very quiet, and there are not many rooms. I originally wanted to book a beach villa, but it was already booked😂 The two-bedroom villa we stayed in was very comfortable. The swimming pool in the yard was very casual to play in, and the children were very happy. The room also has a kitchen, pots and pans, knives and forks, dishes, and microwave ovens. The coconut candy they gave was so delicious😋And you can watch the Chinese version of Netflix at will, and the baby watched several movies. The location is not in a busy area, but it is very quiet. It is very close to the pier for going out to the sea. There is also a 7-11 in a five-minute walk. The hotel is also close to the Thousand-Hand Guanyin Temple and the Big Buddha Temple. There are also some restaurants further ahead. You can also order meals at the hotel. It is not particularly expensive and the taste is also very good. We ate for 2 days. Breakfast was booked at the front desk the day before. A guy would deliver it to the room in the morning and help to arrange the dishes. There were Thai and Western dishes, and there were many choices. They also helped us pack when we went out to sea on the first day😄 The ladies at the front desk were all very nice. When I left, they helped me call a taxi, which was cheaper than grab✌🏻. I also lost my sunglasses case and glasses at the front desk. I contacted the front desk, and the lady helped me deliver them to my second hotel after get off work. She was really an angel🤭 I had a super pleasant three days.

Blue Elephant Villa completely exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. The highlight is the incredible infinity pool with both sea and mountain views :) it was the perfect spot to have breakfast and start our day in paradise. The staff were exceptional, arranging absolutely everything for us, including a stress-free airport transfer. We loved the modern gym, the unique boxing area, and especially the private cinema, which was fantastic for cozy family evenings. The villa’s location next to the golf course made it far easier to access than other rentals we’ve used on Koh Samui, whether by car or scooter. Especially the beautiful receptionist at the front desk and the waiter service made us feel at home. The fruit ice tea made us feel a little cool from the hot weather and immediately calmed down. He quickly checked us in with proficient English, which made us feel full of happiness. The exquisite villa and high-end white bedding all show the exquisite quality. The territory is launched, on the garden site now hydroponica, where salad and something like that are grown. The location is excellent if you only care about beach rest. But, the beach didn't like: because of the yellow at the bottom, the water is muddy, the water is in the morning (was in mid-June), very small, the water is hot. If anyone wants to dive with the mask, this beach is not suitable for you. The beach cheeses for the guests of this hotel are free. The beach is sandy. Before the shopping mall you have to go by taxi (300 batts one way). There are cafes, grocery stores. But some evening is boring. The room really smelled the spleen when the settled. But, opening the window and turning on the air conditioner, the smell was gone. And here the smell of the sewage is whether it was from the sink, whether it was from the toilet a little. The pressure in the shower is good, the water is hot. In general, the room is clean, bed and towels are clean. There is a refrigerator, a teapot, a safe. Fen took on the respiratory. Balcon large, chair, table, dryer. The territory is beautiful, decorated. In general, for this price, the hotel of norms! But left there after the first day only because of the beach!

I had to change rooms after I realised I was getting bitten by bed bugs. No apology only ( we dont know unless people tell us). Second room also had bed bugs. Morning check out they did not say thank you for staying or any greeting. When my transport turned up there was no goodbye come again or any such words. I would expect for the prices a little more acknowledgement from the staff. Even the breakfast check in guy was just slumped over and disinterested. Big manager man never said hello even though I smiled.....lucky his wife was bright and lovely. Great spot and facilities though.

Pros: quite a good location, peaceful beach and very serene atmosphere, two friendly ladies at reception Cons: I spent at the place less then 12h and got a text on WhatsApp from the hotel reservation manager(!!!) Aoffy , who without any explanation said they’d check me out the next morning instead of 4 nights since there was a mistake with the booking and the price I payed was lower than it should be. He also said- we were generous enough to check you in (!!!) “because it was late and you are a lady”, not because I paid! Ridiculous service and attitude, I booked the place 9 days in advance and since I used to work in hospitality before, I know that they were supposed to check my booking including the room rate, if there was any problem with it, they were supposed to contacted Trip or ******* and solve it upfront, instead of not throwing their back office problems onto their guests! He was very rude and definitely under qualified for this position. He was attacking and annoying me on WhatsApp, I asked him to send me a formal email with the explanation and contact details of their GM and he disappeared. 6h later Trip finally solved the problem and I stayed there for three more nights but the impression was ruined and I just didn’t feel welcome there. It also felt like there was no enough stuff at the restaurant, sometimes you’d have to go to reception to ask for someone to come over and sell you a bottle of water.

The hotel staff were so friendly from arrival to check-out. From the time I made a reservation, I contacted each other with WhatApp and kindly informed me about check-in / check-out, airport pick-up, local schedule, etc. It's not a large complex, but it feels much more polite and luxurious than the surrounding resorts and villas. Breakfast is served by the chef at the time of the pre-arranged time to come to the villa and cook it yourself. It feels like eating at home! The menu is not very varied, and it's about breakfast that you eat simply, such as bacon/sorcelain/cereal/egg fries/fruits. There is a pool in each villa, but there is a little regret that it would have been better if there was a main pool with a beach view available to all guests. Anyway, I enjoyed my trip with my family in a really long time.

If you looking for calm, low key, out of the touristic areas and for decent price, that hotel is for you! We felt really welcomed all our stay, the couple that manage this small family resort is really doing all they can to makes you feel at home! They are so friendly! One night the lady even brought us to eat with her outside, as the kitchen was already closed. Amazing pool, we had fun! Quiet to work in the morning. Food was good. Beach is quiet, better to swim in the morning in high tide. Free kayaks can be borrowed. Nice for sunset views! Room were large, a little outdated bathroom but worked fine.

Nice and clean, comfy bungalows with modern styling bathroom with bathtub, sink and toilet with peekaboo windows from room, and outdoor shower with rack for hanging wet towels and swimming wear. Nice terrace with table and chairs to sit outside and enjoy fresh morning air, and lovely evenings. The staff is very friendly and the ladies in the restaurant were very gracious. The 3 tiered pools were lovely with gorgeous view.  The middle one needed some cleaning of leaves that blew down from the wind. The hot water filled only half the tub, but after waiting 15min the water heater was able to fill up the rest of the tub, which was enjoyable and worth the extra effort. Good value and comfortable.
