|0.61km from city centerFirstly the best thing about this hotel is the people - from the minute we arrived, they were welcoming and friendly. The concierge was so helpful in booking trips for us along with other staff who suggested restaurants, directions etc. We chose breakfast in the hotel on one day which was OK and so decided to have breakfast another day as we were leaving on a trip and it seemed the obvious option; turns out they don't do breakfasts everyday which was not well advertised - and a little strange!! Anyway one of the cleaners clearly saw our confusion so suggested ”Mothers” diner across the road which was brilliant actually - the best pancakes we had in our entire trip in the States. Likewise the bar tender at the bar/restaurant is excellent. The only downside was that the hotel itself is a little tired and could do with some refurbishment and updating. Our room was lovely in terms of size and the bed was really comfy but some of the furniture was a little tarnished, the carpet somewhat dirty and the walls could do with a paint. But other than that, a good stay.

|0.81km from city centerWe fell in love with this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and the hotel was clean. Our room was amazing and huge with a sitting area that had a couch, chair, desk, mini bar with a sink and a TV. We had a separate bedroom with a super comfortable king size bed and plenty of luggage storage space. The bathroom was crazy huge and spotless. They have an interactive system for requesting lines or basically any need you may have. They also have a complementary breakfast, like a real breakfast, with scrambled eggs, sausage links and breakfast potatoes that was all delicious. They had a nice selection of bagels, breads and muffins as well. This is a great, funky, cool hotel and we highly recommend it.

|0.39km from city centerI booked a suite for my daughter and new son in law to stay at for their honeymoon as well as a block of rooms for the wedding guest. This property took my breath away from the moment I walked in-it's very charming and beautiful. Some of our guest were enjoying sitting in the lobby area and mentioned to me how impressed they were with the hotel, the staff and the rooms which made me very proud to have chosen this hotel. Every staff member I saw welcomed me and were very friendly-even though I wasn't technically a guest-they were eager to be helpful. Also, the hotel is conveniently located and easy to get to and from anywhere in the city.

|0.91km from city centerThis was a nice base for our business meetings (off site) - plenty of on-site amenities and numerous walkable options. The room was quiet - I had a balcony room over the pool on the fourth floor. If the pool was busier it might be a but noisy for the second floor (opens to the pool) but my experience was quiet. The only complaint I have is not with this property specifically, but with certain Marriott hotels. As many hotels have done, Marriott has transitioned to the pump bottles on the wall in the shower. This is fine, but the font size and contrast are terrible when you are trying to distinguish shampoo from body wash. Even with my glasses I had to get close, and without them it's hopeless. Other hotels have contrasting colors and larger fonts - that's really the only issue I had with my stay.

|0.26km from city centerThe hotel location is very convenient. You can go to the bus station within five minutes and go straight to the bus station. You can go to the airport for 2 dollars and take a bus around 20 minutes to the Mississippi Church and the French Quarter. Attention ⚠️ If I click on the church map provided by Ctrip.com, it will be taken to an old church far away and remote, instead of the church on the picture next to the Mississippi, I will be misled and pitted! !! Some areas are unsafe to avoid at night.

|2.35km from city centerWe recently had the pleasure of staying at Hôtel Peter and Paul in New Orleans and overall, it was a delightful experience. The interior of the hotel exudes a captivating charm, blending historic architecture with modern comfort seamlessly. The attention to detail in the design adds a unique touch to the ambiance.
The service at Hôtel Peter and Paul was exceptional, with a staff that was attentive and friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Whether it was providing local recommendations or promptly addressing any concerns, the staff's dedication to guest satisfaction was evident.
While the overall experience was positive, I did encounter a minor hiccup with the housekeeping service. It wasn't as thorough as I would have expected, and some details were overlooked. However, this didn't overshadow the other positive aspects of the stay.
In conclusion, Hôtel Peter and Paul offers a charming and unique retreat in the heart of New Orleans. The impressive interior and outstanding service make it a memorable choice for those seeking a distinctive and comfortable stay in this vibrant city.

|0.45km from city centerStaff at front desk was friendly enough. No parking for hotel specifically, but we parked in the garage right next door. Lots of broken down cars, but thankfully we didn't have any issues. Some strange people wandering around the streets, but that's not anything the hotel can change. Location was good - not too far a walk to Bourbon Street & the French Quarter. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite, which had a full kitchen and nice size open area. Our pull-out bed had no mattress on it, so someone had to bring one up. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms, however, one of the bedrooms didn't have a window in it. Did not try the breakfast or use any of the common spaces.

|0.22km from city centerMy 93 year old husband and I spent two nights at Hotel indigo last week and were very pleased with our experience. The room was nicely appointed in the bathroom was spacious though we did have an accessible room. The bed was very comfortable, especially the pillows! Every place in the hotel was very clean, and nicely appointed. We were most impressed with the Front desk staff who were so helpful, courteous, and kind. We want to do a shout out to Susanne, who couldn't have been nicer, as well as professional. The common interest hotel dining room had good food at reasonable prices. The valet parking was a bit pricey, but very convenient and the attendants were also very helpful. Just around the corner on Carondelet Street we discovered the Gallier oyster bar, which had good food at a reasonable price.

|0.14km from city centerI stayed at the hotel with my 3 y.o. son. The room with the kitchenette and two queen beds was bright, well designed and very comfortable. Location of the hotel is great - within a few mins walk to French Quarter and the river, close to plenty of restaurants and just 20 m to the Street Car stop. As with many Marriott properties lately, the hotel didn't have ANY bottled water available for their guests; there was no breakfast or room cleaning services. It was all suspended due to COVID however, no one in the hotel, including staff, wore masks or took any COVID precautions.

I wasn't aware there was construction going on. I was awakened by noise such as banging and something that sounded like some type of loud machine. After being awaken I couldn't get the tv to work! Would NOT stay there again and wouldn't recommend to any one else!

|0.41km from city centerWe booked the hotel seeing that it had 4 stars, there was a pool and the amenities list said there was an oven and microwave for the room. I can tell you that when we got there we were definitely surprised and not in a good way. The pool was closed even though they put a sign on the door thanking people for staying 6 ft apart. I don’t understand how you can be 6 ft apart if you can’t even go into the pool area, let alone the pool itself. Another reason we were extremely unhappy was because we had brought frozen food expecting to be able to heat it up and there was no oven, nor a microwave in the room. For a 4 star hotel that is ridiculous! Additionally, the hotel was doing some COVID-19 relief programs which in retrospect is very nice of them due to the fact that New Orleans is a poor area, but they did not let us know about it when we booked the room and the outside the hotel was full of homeless people and others just sitting around smoking and drinking by both doors outside and roaming throughout the lobby. My husband and I were very displeased and even though the hotel was giving them food and water, they created a place where anyone could have definitely caught the virus if they aren’t careful enough or if anyone walking in had it. If we ever go back to New Orleans, we will not be staying there.

|0.38km from city centerWill the valet is AWESOME! We were in town for Essence Festival; there were a ton of cars and a lot of movement. He made sure he communicated how long it would be before our car came out. It was obvious that it was a stressful time but he worked to make sure everyone was taken care of. The hotel rooms are nice art deco and large. My only issue was the elevator, situation. The hotel has three elevators however most of the weekend while I was a guest only one elevator was working, :( There was a limit of five people max on the elevator and it got stuck multiple times. Based on the other reviews this is an ongoing issue. I am concerned with how the city allows a hotel with seventeen floors with elevators that do not work, this is a MAJOR safety concern. If you are planning a visit and its not for a festival or convention I say stay here, it is convenient to the Super Dome, the French Quater, and a ton of good places to eat. Hopefully, the elevator issue will be permanently fixed at some time in the near future.

|0.65km from city centerThe hotel is located directly on Mississipsi and you are on the next street block in the Frenchquater without then hear the permanent sound from there in the room at night. The reception is in the 11. Stock and you have to always change the denb driving chair on the way to the room, which is something hidden around the corner, but you will get used to it quickly. The breakfast is very good, we had also a dinner there, that is probably much better in a restaurant around the corner. The area for meetings is OK, which is partly noisy air conditioning cannot be placed in the rooms. My room was large, clean, well furnished. The room service did not clean at 2 nights per day, perhaps it was simply forgotten. I had the adapter for American. Unfortunately, the hotel cannot help, I expected you to borrow a adapter or buy a cheap one. After all, one knew a store in 10 minutes away, where I could actually buy one. All hotel staff were friendly and seemed committed. I would take the hotel again, you have a great view of Mississippi and town if the room is on the right side.

New Orleans
|1.39km from city centerI'm trying to be optimistic by giving this property an ”Average” rating, but unfortunately my review is going to be very reminiscent of the other latest review on this hotel. While I think it's commendable that the hotel is willing to help displaced people (possibly from the most recent hurricane), it would have been nice to know ahead of time. as we would have chosen a different option to stay at. Typically Hampton Inns are consistent in their atmosphere and reputation, but with the questionable people loitering in and around the property, it just wasn't an experience we were willing to pay for. In addition, because of all these people who were temporarily living at the hotel (possibly through FEMA or the Red Cross), their cars stayed parked in the hotel's parking garage all the time. This left absolutely no room for our car. When I asked the front desk gal abut other possible parking options, she stated that unfortunately there wasn't any additional parking associated with the property, so she said we were on our own as far as finding a spot wherever we could, even if it was a mile or more away. Long story short, we felt like we couldn't leave the hotel if we actually found a spot to park in, for fear of not having one when we came back (in addition, let me tell you, you need some mad parking skills to maneuver though this parking garage). Finally, seeing people walking around with their alcohol throughout the garage was unsettling too. We were supposed to stay at the hotel 4 nights, but decided to check out early and move to another propertyl due to questionable people staying in and around the building/parking lot, but most of all because of the lack of parking options for a paying guest. I feel for the hotel staff because I'm guessing the entire situation is out of their hands, but as far as it being the Hampton Inn experience you're used to, it is not (at least not right now).
