We booked a quick trip to Melbourne for the footy. Because it was only 1 night we booked only a basic king room, and I also wanted to avoid a noisy 09 room. Arrived at reception to be informed they had upgraded us to an 09 room. I told the check in agent I did not want that room, despite it being an upgrade, and would be quite happy with the original room booked. She insisted on contacting the manager and they eventually moved us to an executive suite. This was a large and comfortable room, excellent bathroom and shower and comfortable bed. We did not notice any loud noise from Swanston Street from this suite. Quick trip up to the club lounge for a few drinks and nibbles before footy. Drink selection improved since our last visit and now a selection of spirits is available. Club lounge has nice staff. Breakfast there in the morning was also good. The club lounge has very nice decor. Will be back for 3 nights in August so hopefully will be as enjoyable.

We were warmly greeted and served by front desk personnel Tina on 28-Nov-2023 evening. Everyone is equally helpful, even though it is a busy hotel with many travellers checking in and out. Hotel room is simple but the hotel location is great, right beside the Chinatown and the CBD area etc. You can walk to anywhere, K-Mart, plenty of restaurants and shops. Lovely breakfast spread enough to start our day well 🥰

Stayed for 9 nights and found the room to be a good size with a spacious bathroom. Really enjoyed the bath tub, but the slow flow of water from the tap was a bit tedious and resulted in a less bubbly bubble bath. Not the end of the world though! Excellent location for shopping and dining etc. Staff were all friendly and allowed me to check in early and even allowed a slightly later check out. Overall a very pleasant stay.

The transportation is very convenient. The place to live is exactly the center of the city center. It is very convenient to go to all places. The large shopping mall is located at the corner of the hotel, which is the free tram. It is less than ten minutes walking distance from Chinatown. , The only bad place, the hotel entrance is in Hengjie, it is difficult to find the first time you stay.

The location is very good, in the middle of Chinatown. There are many restaurants in Southeast Asia, the price is fair, and it is convenient to buy things. There are shopping centers and supermarkets next to it, almost walking to the main attractions in the city. The hotel has a Golden square parking lot. The hotel can get a discount price of AUD 30 a day, otherwise it is 69 a day. The internal facilities of the room are cramped and just enough. There is an open-air bar around, it will be noisy at night, but the room has earplugs. I have to check the email before I travel. I missed the email, so when I checked in, I needed to call the password to get the key. The hearing was limited and the signal was not good. It took some time. If I checked the email, I would save these troubles.

pros: Good situation, Convenient transportation nearby. cons: Maybe cause of detergent or disinfectant of bed sets, I felt my skin was itchy that never happened the hotels I lived before. After I lay down in the bed for 20mins, the itchy feeling came. When I went out, no itchy feeling came. We three people lived in this hotel, I was the first person to feel that. lateron, other two felt like I was. Alo, one of staffs at the front desk is not professional, my room number is 339, I said three thirty nine, he didn't know; I said double three nine, he didn't get it ether and he said I said wrong number. We booked a loft room and had been eyeing off this hotel for over a year as one we would like to try. Unfortunately upon checking in the room was not at all what was advertised. The loft rooms look as if the living and bedroom space were all in one however the bed is upstairs in an open style loft. This would have been great for us because I could have relaxed on the bed (5mo pregnant!) whilst my husband watched tv and we could still talk etc. upon check in, we were allocated a room (510) which were 2 completely seperate floors with small awkward stairs between the two. This difference completely changes the dynamic of the space. Additionally - the loft rooms look bright with natural light, the room we had was extremely dark and looked out into a wall. I wonder if this was even a loft room because there wasn’t really anything similar about the spaces. A loft and a seperate floor are not the same thing? Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked so we could not be moved - and after finding make up stains on the unused (by us) hand towel, the bath being small and grotty, The couch being so sunken your legs hit the actual structural part of the couch making it too uncomfortable to sit on, and the whole place having a dark/dirty feel to it, we requested that we be able to cancel the booking with no penalty. At first we were told we could leave but wouldn’t be refunded, luckily we pointed out we hadn’t paid! Then it was said that’s fine, in that case we will keep your $100 deposit, luckily, no one had ever taken that from us either - so we were allowed to leave without charge. All in all - I would like to thank the staff. the gentleman we dealt with was only in his 2nd week and he was SO helpful and I really do appreciate the service he provided. We would have loved to stay, but at 5 months pregnant planning to spend the night in the room while my husband attends a show - I just did not feel at all like I would enjoy the time in the room. Had we both been going out, I would have been less bothered - but we shouldn’t have to feel like not spending time in the hotel is the only thing that makes it okay! We are now sitting in a hotel 500 metres away, same price, considerably cleaner and much more comfortable!! Will definitely remember to check trip advisor before booking next time because I can see similar reviews. Again, thank you to the staff we spoke to - they were a great reflection on the mantra brand which I have stayed at many times across many different locations and normally love and enjoy :)

This hotel made a huge deal about how it was covid clean etc Sorry guys it was just grubby substandard and to call yourselves a 4-star is misrepresentative. Had to ask for towels room was not cleaned due to staff shortage but the furniture was second rate scuffed and grimy and dirty feel free to look at pictures of the shower area full of someone else hair marks on walls which rub off etc Management if you read this you lift your game I won't be back I was put on 5th floor on the plus side location was quite good but plenty of other options in Melbourne

The hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of Melbourne near the Spanish Quarter, Bourke Street Mall, and other shopping precincts. The staff are friendly and efficient at check-in. The rooms are good in size with modern amenities and comfortable beds. There is a kettle and small fridge. The bathroom has a bath with a shower, so if you have mobility issues, it's not for you. There is no rail to hold onto when getting in or out, which makes it dangerous, especially as it gets slippery. There is a pool and gyn which were modern and accessible. The room we had faced into the mezzanine of the hotel so you dont get any light from outside, which was strange. The room was very quiet and had a good air conditioner. Overall, we would stay here again, although the lack of being able to see outside wasn't ideal, and if you stayed for more than one night, it could be an issue.

Gorgeous stay at this lovely hotel. It was my birthday and it was great to be able to check in early when we got there just after 12 noon. Our room was fantastic, the bed and linens divine and the bathroom huge with lovely gels, soaps etc. We had booked afternoon tea and it was superb with some more unusual sweet offerings. Cocktails and a cheese platter later that night when we returned from seeing some Comedy Festival acts capped our night off beautifully. We had a late checkout so plenty of time to enjoy the fantastic breakfast with everything you'd expect to be on offer. It looked like there was a delicious make-your-own pho-style soup for vegans available too. The staff were terrific. A number of them had little badges on that advised they were in training but you'd never know - service from everyone was polished, pleasant and efficient. Truly service to a high standard worthy of this lovely property. Yes, there's a big building site next door as a new underground station is being constructed - dont let that put you off, you'd never know it was going on once you are inside. No doubt that this is our new favourite hotel in Melbourne - a truly polished but warm and friendly offering to high standard.

What a great place. Myself, Daughter and Grand daughter had a quick trip to Melbourne to visit my Mum, stayed here for 3 days and loved it. The view was fantastic, nice and close to restaurants and there's IGA around the corner if you need it. Getting the keys was no trouble at all, even though we arrived outside normal hours. Fab (the Manager) was really nice and helpful, showed us the apartment, parking etc... overall, just made us feel nice and welcome. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone and I will stay there again for sure. The beds are comfortable, rooms very clean and everything you would need if you decided to do your own cooking while staying there. A place I would certainly stay at again. Very happy with this choice.

We arrived in Melbourne from Sydney at 8pm on Monday 10th, with the intention of staying at an apartment we booked. We got to the apartment and it was shocking. We couldn’t stay at this particular apartment as it was not to our satisfaction and was not safe as we had 4 children with us. We looked to find alternate apartments and we came across Nesuto Hotel. The time now was 10pm. We gave them a call and asked if we could have a look at the apartment before making a decision as we wanted to make sure it was safe for our children. The manager Krisha agreed for us to have a look. We were impressed and booked 2 hotel rooms. Krisha and her staff were amazing and very caring. She saw how stressed out we were and wanted us to be happy. The next day Krisha called my room to see if I was ok as she saw how upset and stressed I was. All I could say is that this has been the best hotels we have been to. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms were very clean and it was close to public transport. But best of all was that the staff were very caring and polite. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Traveling as a group of 2 mothers and 2 daughters (late teens), the 2 BR Executive suite was perfect. The apartment was clean, bright, spacious and just so comfortable. We will definitely use again. The staff were attentive and friendly, and even called me a few days before our stay to ask about bedding configurations, whether we needed a car park, and a few other details.

Out of town location - you need to take a tram to Melbourne Business center- luckily is pretty convenient as tram station just opposite the hotel. Don’t stay here if you are driving - as no proper space for you to load off your luggage and the parking is 300m away- charges is also not cheap if considered is outskirts of town area. Hotel lobby- nothing to shout about and the services is just normal- it definitely can be improved. Room look ok for the price we paid- while all the other was normal - including the breakfast- nothing to shout about and is definitely below my expectation since it’s bearing the name of Sheraton

3rd time staying at Quest New Quay and it was fantastic. It's such a perfect location right on Docklands. Super clean room, bed was very cosy and comfy. Everything you need is convenient and in good order. I really have nothing to complain about! The staff were very friendly and check in and out was fast. This is my go-to accommodation when staying in Melbourne because it's simply perfect every time.

My place of choice. Stayed here several times and these apartments are fantastic. Friendly welcoming staff, great communication. Great location free tram at the door, waterfront and close to Marvel stadium. Quiet apartments in quirky building mixed with commercial and apartments, room numbering system is great. Secure building with swipe access for entry. The apartments are clean, well appointed, modern, and spacious. Full kitchen and laundry facilities. The one-bedroom apartment I originally booked was upgraded to a three-bedroom apartment (actually a two-bedroom and one-studio) without any notice. The original one-bedroom was very cheap. The kitchen is a rare gas stove in an Australian hotel apartment, which is convenient for cooking. The swimming pool is small, but there is a 25 meter walkway, and there is a spa, sauna, and the night view of the Yarra River is also beautiful, which is really good value. The traffic is normal. It is close to the Southern Cross Station, but it is far from Federation Square, which means that it is not close to Chinatown and the main shopping area. It is close to the office area, which is suitable for business trips. The only pity is that its front office is beside a turntable, and there is no place to park for free around it. The only parking spaces that can be seen are also for the police. In this way, after you drive out of the garage, returning the keys is a very crazy thing. I don't know if anyone else solved it. I parked the car on the turntable, rushed in, threw the key and ran. . . . . . Too embarrassing. Check-in also has this problem, because its garage requires a key to go in. It can't be like other hotels. Stop in and then go out to check in. But if you do n’t check in, you do n’t have the key. . . .

The apartment was clean but very small. We got a message the day before to say we needed to pick up keys from an office, rather than the building. Instructions on how to find the building were minimal and not clear so it wasn’t easy to find while dragging bags. The apartment wasn’t set up as requested - we had booked for five people and we had to hunt for the linen etc. The air conditioning was faulty. The modem wasn’t switched on and despite signs not to touch it, we were told to turn it off and on! The dishwasher wasn’t on and the power switch was really difficult to access. We had multiple requests to the staff and responses were dismissive and rude. We would not recommend staying here as the area was deserted on the weekend with barely any food options.

The location of the apartment is very good, it is close to the free light rail of public transportation, and there is a large supermarket nearby, and it is a sea view room. It has convenient living, convenient transportation, beautiful environment, and complete facilities in the apartment. , Pots, pans, cups and more. The only problem is that I haven't arrived in the apartment yet, and haven't checked in yet. The credit card authorization deposit was inexplicably deducted AUD 500. This really surprised me. Fortunately, after arriving at the apartment, the front desk informed that there would be no problem when checking out and it would be refunded.

Booked for 5 nights for some overseas friends and we were treated like criminals before the guests have even arrived. Jennifer and Lynn were both rude and need to go on a customer service training program. We had fully paid for 5 nights and have cancelled the booking as they were aggressively rude regarding to a booking that we made on behalf of others plus the fact that we were requesting a late check in. They do not know who we are and the first assumption is that we are going to create an issue because they had an incident one week ago, so their logic is to treat all customers poorly as a result. We cancelled this booking which means as a result of their rude and very disappointing behaviour they lost five nights income for some innocent apartment owner for no real reason at all except their behaviour. As a manager you would think Lyn would apologise for the issue and try and resolve it but instead she took the same tone and reiterated that they need to protect the apartments.... not sure from what... business?! As they had our credit card, license and all id. Never been treated so poorly. The only good part was booking.com who we booked through was apologetic and helpful and understood what customer service means.

A new and charming hotel, in the district of Docklands in Melbourne. Excellent location, very calm and quiet, next to a Tram Station, free ride to several places in the city, including downtown, walking to the Docklands and the Marina. The room was comfortable and specially clean, great king bed, nice shower with good amenities. Amazing infinity pool with a great view, sauna and a equiped fitness center. The breakfast has great quality, excellent food and beverages. The highlight are the staff, very attentive and friendly, the general manager Mr. Christian, is always available and present. One of the best lounge in Marriott Hotels. The M Club has a super nice atmosphere, excellent options for food and drinks, excellent wines and a chef in the morning preparing a very good breakfast. Congratulations to Fazeel and his team, they are ALL spectacular. I recommend André I'll be back. Thanks to all the wonderful human being from this elegant Marriott Hotel.

The environment and location are very good, the facilities in the house are also complete, and the space is sufficient. The cleanliness of the house needs to be improved, the floor is dusty, and the bathtub is not clean and has stains. Shopping in the apartment is very convenient. There is a supermarket just two blocks away. I will consider this place again next time I travel. It feels like living at home.
