I stayed at Tyrian 4 nights with my wife in late Jan. for a shot holiday, we love this place and can’t recommend highly enough. I have written a prior complimentary review about Tryrian, several years ago when I used to travel to Melb for business, and I am happy to suggest not a lot has changed, so full credit to the Tyrian team. We had a one bed unit on the first floor that was spacious, quiet, well appointed, serviced daily and is equiped with very handy kitchenette and laundry. I really feel this kind of set-up is much better than a cramped hotel room. The location is awesome, just meters from Brunswick St with multiple bars and amazing restaurants for all budgets and a small Coles is next door, just so convenient. If you are happy to be 20-30 walk or a short tram/taxi/Uber ride out of the CBD, I challenge you to find a better place to stay. Happy travels and stay safe!!

Not recommended for those who value their personal data security and privacy. Not recommended for internati9nal travellers who may not have enough charge on their phones to complete 3 forms, then download and set up an app that requires constant internet and Bluetooth connections. Booking required multiple insecure methods of sharing credit card details and identification documents along with 2 forms to fill out with personal details and an app to download in order to gain access to the Building entrance, Elevator, and Apartment. None of this information was given to me prior to booking. I would not have stayed here if I had known the extent of insecure transmission of personal information and amount of admin and work required just to check in and stay one night. I work in this space and know the risks. Management is putting guests personal data at risks with the excessive documentation requests. FYI, requiring someone to send credit card PICTURES and ID pictures over email is completely insecure. This is bizarrely at odds with the excessive security to get into the building. The constant need to carry your phone everywhere or you'd be locked of the apartment or even the whole building was extremely stressful. In terms of the actual room, once I got in, the bed, kitchen, lounge and floors were clean but the toilet had not been cleaned in a long time. This was not nice. You could see parts under the rim had not been cleaned in years. Toilet had also been recently used and not flushed properly upon arrival. I did not take photos of any of this, it was too gross. I ended up buying paper cups as the glasses/cups as those supplied were not clean, tried to take a picture but it's hard to see. They were covered in fingerprints and fibres of some kind. The view was nice and loungeroom was great, study nook was extremely handy for remote work. Balcony tiles are moving and could be a tripping hazard. Laundry was well equipped but did not have time to use it.

I have stayed at these apartments many times over the past 10 years. They have been slowly degrading and in need of an update, but the location and free parking have always won me over. However, I stayed for one night in late January 2022 and will not stay again. The reception staff were really great, but the cleanliness of the apartment was not acceptable. My doona had a blood stain on it under the doona cover (not seen until the morning) and there was more mould in the showers than I have ever seen in my life! We also had 2 bathrooms and were provided with one piece of soap for the whole apartment. I have continued with this accommodation as it degraded over time, but I will not be back. A thorough clean and replacement of blood stained doonas would be a first step to getting us back.

Stayed here for 3 nights over Easter and absolutely loved it. The room was a great size, fully self contained with kitchen and laundry facilities. Bathroom was compact but well designed with quality fittings. Loved the location, just off funky Smith St, easy access to tram stop and city. The rooftop pool and spa are amazing. Only negative was that I had pre-advised of a midday arrival time and this was acknowledged and logged. When I arrived at 1230, tired from no sleep, the receptionist was not very helpful. I left my bag and went for a quick walk. I came back at 1pm and got a different receptionist who did the paperwork while waiting and rang through to housekeeping. The room was ready at 2pm on the dot.

I read a review detailing hotel guest with drug problems, it’s a MOTEL you are going to get good and bad and everything in between in any of these places. I had my own kitchen with its cutlery (dishes, forks, knives, cups...). Also there was a microwave in the laundry room which was very useful when I wanted to heat my takeaway food. I loved that in the bathroom next t the sink there were hand wash and face lotion and in the shower there were shampoos, conditioners, body wash, which were provided abundantly. It was also for a very affordable price, less than $80/a night. It was also clean. Not to mention that I was not pressured to leave by the check out team and I didn't get a call reminding me to leave but the staff were very friendly and polite and waited until I left a couple of minutes after the checkout time. A really pleasant stay!

It's convenient to drive by car. Follow the white road, Maroon*** HWY, and turn left to Victoria RD. Then turn left at Melba HWY and you will be left. It's perfect to avoid the high-speed route for navigation. Hotel facilities feel old, especially the pool is a bit disappointing! The hotel provides a big bed room according to my request! The welcome letters are all in Chinese :) The hotel has a free 3 boxes of instant noodles (although we have not eaten) and three bottles of Italian mineral water! Surprisingly, the four small pieces of chocolate are delicious! All breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the hotel, full western food! Breakfast is included in the room rate, lunch and dinner for two big ones for nearly $300! The nearest winery is just a 2 minute walk from the hotel. After the hotel reception has received the voucher, you can go there for free 5 kinds of wine! The tasting staff just happened to be a little girl from Shanghai. I was very kind. I bought 6 bottles of wine (can pay Alipay or WeChat). The next day I took a baby to go to the Wildlife Nature Reserve, which is 18 minutes drive from the hotel. !

Excellent location. Clean linen. Hotel room needs an update, cleaner carpet and a good scrub all over. Invest in new pillows, carpet and cleaning products and housekeeping and hospitality oriented staff. No internet for entire stay. Management seems to have dropped off since a few years ago when it was excellent. Staff blamed guests for any issues raised, rather than address hygiene or technology shortcomings. Such a shame. Look forward to better days, as hotel is surrounded by great places and right on transport to get everywhere around Melbourne.

We arrived in Melbourne from Sydney at 8pm on Monday 10th, with the intention of staying at an apartment we booked. We got to the apartment and it was shocking. We couldn’t stay at this particular apartment as it was not to our satisfaction and was not safe as we had 4 children with us. We looked to find alternate apartments and we came across Nesuto Hotel. The time now was 10pm. We gave them a call and asked if we could have a look at the apartment before making a decision as we wanted to make sure it was safe for our children. The manager Krisha agreed for us to have a look. We were impressed and booked 2 hotel rooms. Krisha and her staff were amazing and very caring. She saw how stressed out we were and wanted us to be happy. The next day Krisha called my room to see if I was ok as she saw how upset and stressed I was. All I could say is that this has been the best hotels we have been to. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms were very clean and it was close to public transport. But best of all was that the staff were very caring and polite. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is a hidden gem! The tram is at your doorstop, which takes you straight into the city. If walking is your thing then it will only take you 25 minutes. I was lucky enough to get a room with a view of Albert Park. My room had plenty of space to set up a work station as well as relax. Best Western Melbourne Airport is a fantastic place to stay pre or post air travel, especially when you have an early or late departure or arrival. This was our second visit and both times it was immaculately clean, exceptionally comfy and very quiet. The shuttle service is great, a quick call on arrival and in about 10 mins the BW mini-bus is there to pick you up - or schedule drop-off to the airport with the friendly faces at reception - too easy. Very affordable for the facilities and services provided. Highly recommend!

There are breakfast baskets such as bread and cereals. Fruits and wine from your own winery are welcome. The car is parked next to the child. Look carefully at the letter when you check in. It is a little far from the train. Hours, if you want to take the train at 10:30 am, it is recommended to go out before 8:30, because they will run into their morning peak. There are walking directions, and it is wonderful to make a circle at sunset.

We chose the Miami because it was very close to the venue we were going to see a live show at. What a gem. Right from our arrival, staff were helpful and friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We were given an upgrade that gave as a fabulous view of the city. Our room was large, bed very comfortable, bathroom well appointed (they even had shaving cream), couple of chairs to sit on and, one thing we love, mugs for tea or coffee. Everything was spotless. WiFi was good. There is parking on site at a fee. Some undercover but also spaces for those higher vehicles that can’t fit underneath. There is a guest kitchen which would be great for longer stays. We stayed on a Friday night and had no noise issues. Cafes, pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance and a tram stop is just down the road. On our trips into town, we usually stay at a much more expensive hotel but from now on the Miami will be our go to property. Very reasonably priced, great staff and comfortable beds, what more could you ask for?

This place was a breath of fresh air compared to the last 4 places I've stayed in the area. The place very very clean and tidy, the pictures are very accurate which is rare. Bed was comfy. The lady at the desk even gave me the choice of room if I wanted a room towards the back that would get less traffic noise or one in the middle She even opened them up and showed me. We stay at mantra hotels all the time as they are usually reasonably priced and good value. This time they did not disappoint! The location is great, lots of alleyways nearby with bars/restaurants. Parking not too far away. We booked at Wilson's online and got a deal. The restaurant was only open for breakfast but that's ok when you have a kitchen! The rooms are very spacious! Especially for the city. You get bath robes which were a great addition. My only complaint was the towels. They were tiny and very worn. Improve this and I'd rate our stay 5/5!!

My wife and I had a nice stay here a few weeks back. It is pretty centrally located and reasonably priced which are the redeeming features. The location and rooms definitely look nicer in the photos, the rooms whilst large and well appointed are very old and worn… dented fridges, damaged furniture, bedside lights that don’t work etc. it’s all perfectly liveable it’s just not what I expected from the photos. Staff were friendly but the place just needs some TLC. If you think this is a nicely restored boutique hotel you’ll be disappointed, but if you’re seeking conveniently located, reasonably priced accomodation with low expectations it will be perfectly suited.

The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and accommodate they do anything do make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The apartment is clean and smelled good and they even offer laundry detergent. There's an intercom that gives access to friends and family or uber eats. The location is super. 7mins walking distance to the shops. The downside is that the fire brigade was just across the road and they are all the time switching on that annoying siren so was quite noisy 😑 and the bedroom didn't have an air-conditioned or fan and it got quite warm sometimes. The only place with air-conditioning was the living room but it took a while for the bedroom to could down. But apart from I highly recommend this place :)

Amazing room, ridiculous amount of space, comfortable bed, great little office/working area. One of my complimentary water bottles was open/used and about half empty, yuck. Later that day I wanted to use my $25 credit on the minibar 200ml bottle of gin (which is listed as inclusive of 4 mixers). Gin was missing from the mini bar I couldn't find it. Called down to reception to ask if it was by request, they assured me it should be there and would send someone up. Waited 2 hours and no one came which frustrated me as I was waiting so called down again and was assured someone was on the way. Someone did arrive with a huge bag full of everything except the gin. When questioned didn't seem to know what I was talking about, I had to point to it on the minibar menu and was met with a very confused expression, he left. Then about 30 minutes later a different person arrives with the gin bottle, success. However upon checkout there were a bunch of mini bar items charged which I hadn't consumed, and in fact were not even missing. I hate having to have that conversation but after only 3 words they were ”happy to remove them” which makes me think this isn't an uncommon occurrence. I later noticed that the mixers were charged as well where as they should have been included with the gin purchase cost, but I couldn't be bothered wasting my time to try and sort it out. Club lounge service was attentive but did fill up and get quite busy in the evenings however my drink was always topped up and the staff there were friendly and engaging. Temperature control seems non-existent in the room and I'm convinced it makes no difference what you set it to. I had my do not disturb on until mid morning, so as I was leaving for the day dropped by reception and said I may have missed housekeeping and could they have someone make up the room. Arrived back a few hours later and it hadn't been done. All up a real mixed bag here, but can't help feel my simple requests were a bother and inconvenience.
