The location on the Rhineland, beautiful. The beautiful garden terrace, a flower splendour. The rooms are comfortable ( comfort room) Sufficient crochets and ladles in the bathroom to stall your stuff. Set on the room. Breakfast and dinner were great. I would like to say: more choice in fish and vegetarian dishes, but this probably has to do with under-occupation, as I have read on the website. Staff were very nice. My Bulgarian**** staffer who provided breakfast. Always friendly and smiling, and it was also nice that our bikes could stand inside, and the car at a closed parking place, we're coming back...

I reserved this hotel on Fri 4 Oct-Sat 5 Oct, 2019 through Hotels.com. It was the last night of my 26-day travel in Germany,Austria,and Czech. I wanted this place because I was looking for a comparatively quiet place, about 5Km far from downtown of Ruedesheim am Rhein, which I visited 2 weeks ago already and could not understand why so many people (including group tour) came there. But When I checked in, an old manager told me that because of hot water system problem some reserved guests can not have their room and that he made a reservation at another 4 star hotel(Hoteltraube) at downtown of Ruedesheim. When I went to Hoteltraube, I did not like at all, so I reserved Frankfurt Humeriah and stayed there. Strange to say, I did not receive any email from Hotels.com after I came home. When I called Hotels.com, they did not know any thing. Later they emailed that Krone insisted as they prepared another hotel they can not refund my payment. This is so ridiculous and irresponsible attitude. As I believe such attitude roots in Krone's management mind I do not recommend this hotel. FYI Hotels.com will compensate my loss though I don't know how much it will be. PS: I have traveled more than 2 million miles. This time I went this area due to my wife's asking, so called Rhein river cruise or tour is really so-so except one night staying at Schonburg,

Staying at the Rheinhotel Lamm was an unexpected surprise. The owner welcomed us with sincere and helpful advice. We had a superb dinner with excellent service. The room was quiet, comfort, clean, and we’ll provisioned. Spentbthe evening drinking some excellent wine, eating a superb dinner, and watching the river traffic on the Rhein. Definitely a place to return to.

Very nice hotel, very good environment, located on the hillside of the Rhine River, below is the Rhine River, the scenery is superb, there are many collections in the castle, 7 euros to buy tickets, it is worth watching, and the front desk is a nearly 60 old lady It’s raining to help us with one of the heaviest boxes on the third floor, very friendly! highly recommended.

The hotel has a good location. Everything is in step-by-step access: City parking (4 Euro per day, from 13.00 on Saturday and until 9 a.m. on Monday free), Reina embankment, Klopp Castle on the hill, a good Greek Delphi restaurant, Good city dining room City Kebab Ceyhan, Edeka and Rewe stores. As for the hotel itself. We got a double room on the top floor, under the roof. Summer is suffocated but the view of the Rhine and evening cooling from the river compensated. The room is a little unusual. : one large room, in which there was only a toilet separately. There were no more hooks for towels as the hanger for them lay in a narrow place between the shelves and the wall. In connection with the coronary virus, the room was cleaned and a modest breakfast (instead of the buffet) was served to the table.

The hotel grape is located in an excellent location on the Rhine River in Rüsselsheim However, for disabled people an absolute no go. The service was only good when a certain gentleman was at the reception. Women seemed to be overbearing, yet very launchful. The room service was OK but no longer. The hotel has come very into the years as well as partly the inventory. The beds in our room were a disaster. Matrixes up to go no longer located. The carpet floor is a dirt sleeve, full of spots and cracks. Similarly, the tape in the streams. Just shy. At closer view, it was also poorly cleaned. In the window frames had spinning tissue with small dead wings etc, as well as at the windows in the breakfast room. Just a shit. The windows in the room were certainly not washed for more than 1 year. The rest of the room was searched together. The swimming pool was for business reasons closed On the lower floors many steps and stairs. The breakfast was very good, the service was also OK. This hotel can only be able to make good location and good breakfast points, otherwise more than modest. Maximum a 2-star hotel. We will certainly not stay in this hotel again.

Very good, great location, not only in the heart of the town's scenic area, but also next door to the cable car station up the mountain. The key is that it is noisy, quiet, and clean. The boss and other service personnel are German locals, enthusiastic, sincere and kind. The family room has two rooms, the bed in one room is shorter and the bed is soft. No toothbrush combs are the same as in China. This type of room has no air conditioning on the top floor, only a fan, it is quite stuffy. The hotel is very close to the pier and the central square. Not far from the train station. I'm not happy to write a negative review if you were allowed to experience such friendly staff. Unfortunately, this was really the only positive next to cleanliness and that is simply not enough. The hotel's equipment is extremely old and easy. When you enter, you are already sneaking a moderate smell. I fear this is due to the old tape floors. The rooms were very simple and very small and maximum old from the interior. It is unexplainable how this keeps a 4 star level. 4 stars are derived from defined standards that are objectively not given. Housekeeping was performed with the reference to Corona only after explicit demand and then, unfortunately, really only the minimum: towels exchange, some bath cleaning. No beds, no waste packaging, no clean tooth clean glasses. We have been in more than 5 different hotels in different countries in the last few months. Corona-related restrictions on daily room cleaning are nowhere else. The full price is paid, but the cost of staff is significantly reduced. It is also strange that breakfast at our first morning (Friday) is much less and worse than the following days. Fridays the selection was minimally small. Saturdays and Sundays it was far better, but still rather simple. We paid 200 € per night for our room. This price is just a freak. As I said at first, the staff was very friendly and kind, so I regret my negative review.

The wife and I just returned from an 11 night driving tour of Germany after 3 years and stayed as usual at this hotel in Rudesheim. It is very convenient if you have a car as the hotel provides free and adjacent parking to the building. It is situated about 30 miles from the airport and with normal traffic takes about 40 to 45 minutes to drive. The only drawback I must mention concerns traffic noise. The building is situated on the corner of 2 quite busy streets in downtown and the traffic noise can be bothersome. It is suggested than one try and book a room as far away from the streets as possible. Finally, and a significant feature for older folks like us with knee problems, there is an elevator/lift to combat stair climbing!

Stayed here in September 2015, once again we arrived early but as before we were made more than welcome, we had a different room this time but it was very roomy and very clean. The location is just of the main business areas but far enough away not to be bothered by any noise. Our host couldn't do enough for us and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was still plentiful and the rates are very reasonable. A must stay if visiting Ruedesheim am Rhine

Recently stayed at this lovely small hotel which is very nicely located centrally in Rudesheim but far enough away from train noise or busy streets, although there is a bar opposite we were unaffected by any noise being located in a Comfort Junior Suite in the eaves of the hotel. Our suite consisted of a small sitting area and bathroom on the entry level and two bedrooms up a spiral stairway, this would be my main issue that you had to negotiate this stairs in the night if you needed the bathroom, plus the dressing table and storage area for the outer bedroom was also downstairs. There was a little dressing table and some shelves in the inner bedroom but storage is quite minimal so be prepared to live mostly out of your suitcase. However despite these issues the room had air conditioning, was spotless, beds were comfortable and bathroom well proportioned with lots of storage and a good hairdryer, there was also a good sized fridge which was very handy. Breakfast was served in the beautiful little restaurant which was unfortunately closed this year, there was also a nice little courtyard area where you could eat, we had a lovely lady waiting on us each morning and her helpfulness and friendly nature made up for the frosty unwelcoming woman who checked us in upon arrival. English speaking guests should be aware that it can be difficult to be understood, many staff have little English and learning a few basic German phrases would be helpful, this whole area is not really geared up for the English speaking market and is more aimed at native clients, this is reflected in the food also but that was fine we were there to experience something different and enjoyed the fare although asking for decaff coffee proved very difficult in some places its a bit of a rarity apparently! Overall we were very happy with our accommodation and thought it good value for money, maybe keep the frosty lady away from reception to ensure first impressions are true to the real hospitality of this charming hotel.

We stayed here for two nights at the end of our Rhine River Valley tour and it was excellent. Parking is right there on site, checkin was a breeze, and the location is pretty much 10 minutes from everywhere in Rudesheim. The breakfast is included and they have a full spread and made-to-order omelettes. Room was great looking west with views up the ridge over the wineries to the monument. So much to do in Rudesheim and a great place to stay.
