New hotel less than a week after opening. The room is high in value and the design is fashionable. The hotel has limited parking spaces and cars can be parked on the street. Once you get to the hotel floor, you need to take the elevator to the second floor to check in. Because of the early arrival of the hotel, there was no sign of the front desk when I arrived, and I waited for the front desk staff to return soon. The kind smile and service attitude made up for the previous shortcomings. The most need to improve is the sound insulation of the room. When there is a vehicle passing, I feel like I am sleeping on the roadside and I am noisy all night. This hotel is really good if I am not afraid of being disturbed by the sound.

Quick check in and check out, friendly receptionist. Standard room is very large. It can put down a 3 person bed and a temporary extra bed. Very limited facilities. They only provide 2 towels, 2 small bags per tea and coffee, 2 small plastic mixing spoons. Stay away from the elevator near as it is a bit noisy especially during sleep time. Convenience store and laundry service are available, just downstairs. Halal food across the street is just around the corner. Free WiFi, good location, good for going to hospital. The island hospital is within walking distance, or you can sit on uber, as long as RM3 around.

I stayed one night here for my medical check up at Island Hospital. It’s near only 3 mins walk (to Peel Wing-new building of Island Hospital) and it is only across the Macalister Wing of Island Hospital. So basically it is convenient for hospital’s patient. Check in was good, required MYR 100 deposit (they’ll give you back once you check out). They give towels and body soap only for amenities. Got water heater also. No bedside table, so I have to put a chair to charge my phone. There’s a fan and aircon, I can’t adjust the aircon temperature though, the remote is there but no battery and I tried to use tv remote battery, nothing happen. No restaurants or food stall near the hotel, can order from grab or just walk around to find food. Well, overall it’s value for money hotel. For medical trip to Island Hospital, this could be a good choice. Other than that, personally I would choose another hotel closer to other things in town.

I use to stay in this hotel whenever I come business trip. The Hotel was conveniently located and is easily found. The room very comfortable, the bed is comfortable for stay. The facilities is fine and acceptable . The food stall nearby and also convenient store available. I found the Reception Staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming too.

The hotel contact person will proactively contact you after booking the hotel (you can use WeChat in Chinese). On the day of check-in, the apartment contact person will send the room registration QR code, room mailbox password, WIFI password, and check-in requirements. The location of the apartment is relatively remote, but fortunately there is a canteen downstairs (open from 8:00-22:00). After arriving at the apartment, you need to give the room registration QR code to the Indian security guard on the left side of the building (parking lot entrance) for registration. After registration, security will accompany you to open the main door and the inner door of the lobby. After entering the inner door, find the mailbox, open it with the password, and get 2 keys with access cards. Apartment rooms are opened with traditional keys. The room is quite large and all facilities are basically complete (no toothbrush, toothpaste, wooden comb, slippers, etc. are provided). The hot spot of this apartment is the infinity swimming pool on the rooftop, which has a great view. The disadvantage is that the power of the water heater is insufficient. Even if it is adjusted to the highest temperature setting, the water temperature is about 32 degrees, which makes you feel a little cool when taking a shower.

The hotel is suitable for couples, very romantic, only 8 rooms, each room is different, the bar on the first floor is very good, the little girl and the young man in the breakfast restaurant are Chinese descendants, very warm, there are no attractions around the hotel and Shopping for food, there is no restaurant in the hotel, you can only go outside to eat, everything else is fine.

The Magazine Vista Hotel in Penang is more cost-effective. When choosing this hotel, I consulted for a long time, such as booking (more reviews, good or bad), Ctrip (only a simple review). Because it only opened in 2018, the hardware is very new, and the hygiene is good. I especially like to have a washing machine, but I have to find a place to dry the clothes indoors. The location of the apartment is very good. On the left is the GAMA supermarket, and on the right is the landmark of Everbright. Fruits and snacks have their own favorites! Call the front desk before arriving at the hotel, because the front desk is not here, so call in advance and the hotel will send staff to wait at the door. When you call, you need to speak English. There is a Chinese-speaking waiter. India borrowed ”Di Li” (transliteration)-Figure 6 this one. If you call him, you will have no difficulty in communication. He will come to collect a tax of MYR 10 per night, introduce room facilities, and even help you set up a taxi app on your phone. The network is poor and it can't be connected for a few days, so it is important to buy a local phone card. The location was easy to find, check-in process was smooth, and everything was great. The receptionist was very friendly, and the cleanliness of the room was fine. Me and my friend booked the same room type but we had 2 different designs of room, she had bigger room with smaller toilet, and conversely mine was bigger toilet but smaller room. I prefer hers as my room is very small and there are no place for our luggage. Also, the view of my room is just the wall of other building, while my friend's is the nice view especially at night (can see the bar and the food truck downstair). Suggest contact the receptionist to confirm the room design before you book. BTW their corridor was super nice. Overall, highly recommended and satisfied!

First experience with capsule hotel bed and dormitory with 3 other lovely female travellers. Fortunately, it was an experience exceeding all expectations!! First WOW - look at all the cultural heritage, beautiful art, antique items and furniture, the Feng Shui Koi pond, water fountain, greenery! OMG- better than visiting a museum- you get to live and experience it!!! Second WOW- looking for street food? Walk around and you see stalls selling the local delish: SATAY, Lok Lok, Char Hor Fun and other stalls. Also, the handicraft stores with Batik and wooden sculptures! Other amenities : open swimming pool, 3 shower room next to it and hair dryer (tip: the water pressure and shower much more satisfying compared to bathtub or shower inside dorm room, and a game/ relax room filled with couch to wind down after a tiring day. and just Final WOW- the receptionist and staffs are helpful and well-informed! Guests were invited to join in the fun and you can see guests lounging in the open, relaxed and chatting with the staffs! Room for improvement: mosquitoes... can't seem to get rid of them ( so be prepared) and the places are considered clean... but not spotless. I hope this culturally rich building can be well maintained, and the places be properly upgraded even more as it succeeds as one of the most valuable hotel experience in Georgetown 🥰

The location is great. Breakfasts very good. Perfect pool to cool down (cold water, seriously), good choice. For me, the location and the swimming pool (because of my daughter) is ok. I recommend it. But: Zero wardrobes, cupboards etc. We had to keep everything in suitcases and there was not even a towel rack in the bathroom. It is much more important than an extra toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. Besides, calls from a nearby mosque are awakened. These are the details that irritate. And the pillows - high and hard. In addition, the hotel complies with the description and you can safely spend a few nights in it.

The room is small, the toilet is cool, and no one can speak Chinese when the boss is absent. The grand birthday of the Tiangong, I do not know whether it is fireworks or someone hit the window. Anyway, when the shower was in the window, the window was so loud that the mother was scared. I thought someone was out of the window. OPH room is clean and very small, almost like a square cube. A bed to sleep, a working table and a relatively spacious bathroom. Air-condition and water heater works really good. It started off rough. Got into the hotel early to leave our luggage and the guy manning the check in was cold, standoffish, and didn’t even bother replying to our pleasantries. When we returned, a misunderstanding ensured. Cos of my earlier encounter, I was just unreasonable. But thank goodness for Suhaila (I think) and her manager - they deescalated the situation with grace and aplomb. That bump aside, I had a lovely time. Was in room 213. Initially I was worried because I have read about noise issues coming from the club next door. But either the club was closed or the soundproofing worked, there were no disturbances. We slept like babies. The room was beautiful, and the location is amazing. This hotel is highly Recommended. Just don’t bother to pay extra for the breakfast. That was just too sad. We tried it on our last day in the hotel as we were leaving early for the airport. It was dismal.

This will be my first time experience stayed in Tido Penang Hostel and really like it. The room is quite cosy and comfortable. Each person got one big locker space with key, pillow and mattress, reading light, a plug, blanket and towel. Free WiFi at all floors and in dorm room too. The hostel consist of 5 floors, 1st to 4th floor comes with 5 rooms & 5 individual bathroom & WC. The lounge on 5th floor was big and had great 2 swinging egg chairs and plenty of space over looking the view of the city. There was also a computer if you need to use one. Every floor has a iron and board. The 5th floor comes with books/magazine cupboard, table bench & high chair, soft sofa, a fridge, refillable hot/cold water filter and a small kitchenette. Free breakfast is at 5th floor overlooking the city in the morning that comes with self service toast, 4 types of spread, biscuits, coffee, tea & filtered water. Every shared bathroom is clean and comes with rain shower hot/cold pressure power and shampoo/body wash. The 8 bedded bunk room is clean and spacious and look exactly the same in the booking website. Open air parking is next to Caltex petrol station. All in all, for a price that am paying, I am happy with my stay and highly recommending and suggested this place for those who want to explore Georgetown The service overall was excellent and the facility was fabulous. The location was in a quiet area and very convenient for eating out. Highly recommend Tido.. :)

Our stay at the blue mansion was amazing from start to finish. The staff were excellent and efficient. The room was great, with some nice touches like biscuits and sarongs to use by the pool. It’s worth noting the room had a fan and air conditioning which we didn’t expect from a historic residence. We were blown away by the hotel and would recommend it to anyone staying in Georgetown. It really added to our trip.

Yes, this is a budget Hotel. For around MYR 100 you get what you pay for. Great location, right in the action. Bars, Restaurants, hawker stalls, shops etc. Clean basic room, clean sheets, bed a little hard but still slept well. good A/C and shower facilities. There is hot and cold water 24/7 and a large balcony area with seating, overlooking the road where you can smoke vape and have a drink. Ironing station available. Only downside to this place is poor Wi-Fi. Could not get any internet in the reception area and definitely not in the rooms. Overall, an ok stay for a night or two. No problem recommending this Hotel.

Hotel is nice, however I highly recommend to change or move carpets in the corridor - they looks terrible and at first glance spoil the impression about the place. Rooms were clean, bathroom is new, hot water is very good. That is a pity you couldn’t open the windows, we have a view on the nearest building roofs, looks not bad. We had a problem with AC, cause it works from extremely cold mode, to slow fan and the worst it was located in front of the bad, so if you switch it on for whole night - you will be ill in the morning, and the room is in the sunny side, so it is quite hot during the day and night. I don’t know how to be with that, we choose to move one of the 2 twin beds to each other, it helped not so much :( now i have a problem with my throat. The hotel use new technology of check in, but a little bit strange to check out from the same room if you want to extend your stay. Price in the hotel too high, better to find good offers online.

We had a pleasant three-day stay at this hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location, situated between two large malls with plenty of shops and restaurants and within a reasonable cab ride to both George Town and Batu Ferringhi. The room was quite spacious but a little bit dated and worn down. It could use a refresh. The bed was very comfortable, however, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. We enjoyed using the beautiful infinity pool. Service was friendly and efficient. One area that could use improvement is the breakfast. Although there is a good variety of items offered, many just weren't very tasty. The best thing on the buffet was the homemade ice cream. Overall, this is a good place to stay when exploring the island of Penang.

Loved our stay at Tien Terrace, the whole place is spotlessly clean with such a beautiful finish to all aspects. The room is modern, comfortable and clean. Clean and compact hotel that’s fairly new, but there were many issues with my room: •Toilet bowl was faulty on the first night and the following night the air-con broke down – changed rooms as a result • WiFi was spotty and weak – used my phone data for the bulk of the time • Be reminded that you need to place a tag on your door for room service. No one communicated that to me (until Day 4 after multiple times of feedback given) so my room was left as is for days. Tips: • They don’t serve hand soap, but you could use the body soap provided in the shower as a substitute. • There are no facial tissues, so toilet paper is your alternative.
