The hotel is big and very industrial. Booked a 2 bedroom grand suite. The communal areas are very big and well furnished. The master bedroom is a good size but the 2nd bedroom is very cramped for twin beds. The kitchen is well equipped but as an apartment for 4 only had crockery and glasses for 2.
The area is very grubby as it is in the heart of the car workshops.
The communal areas in the hotel are very grubby and look dirty and rundown except for the reception area.
Would not use again and in my opinion £400 for 2 nights was excessive.

I don't know why, but the GPS took us to the outskirts of the city, into the woods, using this address. We only found it later by Googling it on another GPS. It's OK now, apparently they fixed it.

Celebrated our anniversary in Izmir and planned to stay in this hotel for 2 nights but ended up extending as the location is quite convenient for us. Subway is few meters away and the location is also a few mins walk to the coast with a great sunset view. A lot of shops and restaurants across the street and staff in the hotel was helpful as well. The best part is when we receive a complimentary wine to celebrate our Anniversary as soon as we checked in. Thanks a lot! Will stay here again for sure. SOLD OUT

The sea view room is beautiful. There seems to be a night market below, which is very lively at night. Those who have a bad sleep are those whose windows face the sea. There is a big restaurant along the street below the hotel (decorated in black) and the breakfast is delicious. It is really annoying to eat in the hotel all the time. Mr Osman from the reception made sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. He was very kind, friendly and always attentive to my needs.
He kept my luggage safe for me before I checked in and after I checked out.
The breakfast was moderately good with delicious fried vegetables and fried eggs. There were choice of bread too ( simit and brown bread)
Mr Osman was helpful in guiding me around the city.
The hotel is near to Basmane Metro station and you can use this line for Izban.
You can also go to Izmir otogar ( izmir bus station) directly by bus. You need 302 it comes every 10-15 mins. Ther bus stop is near Basmane train station near the mosque.
There is also a Tramvay to Konak port if you prefer to travel by ferry and to other ports.

Very noisy, because there are 3 main roads next to it, and the sound insulation of the room is not very good, you can hear the sound of the room talking loudly in the corridor outside.
The elevator is very small, it feels like 1*1 at most, it can only accommodate 2 people + 2 suitcases

What can I say about the city of Izmir? You can go there or not. I also went to see the clock tower, which is a small tower. The big elevator is just a residential elevator. There is not much point in making a special trip there. This hotel is in the new district. There are not many places to eat. It looks like a regular Hilton Garden Inn. But I don’t know why the price difference between one person and two people is 200. I booked the price for one person. In fact, they are the same. Turkey is a magical country.FromJPY 17,734

Great stay, very comfortable and clean, it's obvious that it's an older hotel but looks to be well taken care of. The water DOES have a weird smell to it sometimes but i don't think it has anything to with the hotel, it's just Izmir... I've stayed at many hotels in the area and even though the breakfast of anemon is not the best it's still more than enough and if i compare every aspect collectively this hotel was the best experienceFromJPY 17,010
