The hotel was amazing! The service was fab, all the staff were so lovely and really helpful. The room was great and had everything you could need, and I loved the fact that all the toiletries are plant based! The location was also amazing, just round the corner from the nightlife if you wanted it (but completely silent from inside your room). It's very central so really easy access to anything you could want really. Would definitely stay there again and already recommended it to some friends.

The location is amazing, right in the centre of Manchester. The hotel looks great from the outside, the lobby is very grand. It has a great bar - Rogue bar. However, our room was not very clean. There was hair on the floor. The bathroom was not nice at all. The shower floor was dirty, and it had not had a deep clean. The service in the hotel was okay, nothing extraordinary. I wouldn’t return overall for the money.

My mom and I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The location is perfect, which is actually in the city center. It is close to Victoria train station, Piccadilly station, tram and Piccadilly garden bus station. So you can go everywhere in an easy way. The room is clean, comfortable, warm and quiet, with hot water and high speed free wifi. The reception staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed quite an amazing journey here.

It was a lovely stay. We booked this hotel specifically for the spa, and loved the big pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Only thing was we didn’t realised you had to book early to get a slot to go to the spa, and it can get crowded in the evening. If you’re as keen as my friend, you could go at 7am and have the place all to yourself. Although we didn’t use it, we walked past the gym right next to the spa and it looked well equipped, smelled really nice and clean too! We ate to our heart’s content at the buffet breakfast. They have the crispiest hashbrowns!

My room was no 1830 and the bath I could not use because the plug hole plug was the wrong size ,also the shower door was leaking so water went on the floor. There was no hair dryer to use . We could not use the safe as it kept coming up with an error. Other than that everything else was fine. The receptionist was very helpful and polite.

Service - nice, the staff members are very friendly and kind. I will give 4 of 5. Breakfast - they don’t have lot of variety of breakfast. But what they have is alright and taste okay. I will give 4 of 5. Location - good and bad. The good part is it is close to a lot of places. For example, art gallery, the library. So it is really good for people want a convenient travel. However, the location is very very noisy at night, and some how, our room is not sound proof enough, at Friday night, a bunch of people singing on the street with microphones at 11:30pm, and we can hear all of them (we are in fifth floor, don’t know how people in the first floor would feel about it..). Room facility - bad. It is not a 4 star hotel level. They do not provide fridge or room bar. The Tv is very old and the carpet of the hotel is very old and a bit dirty. The table and chair on the room is squeeze, and not stable. The whole room is just very old. Room clean service - good, they do the service good and in time. In general, I don’t think this should be a four star hotel - at least based on our experience. It could be a alright three star hotel and a normal two star hotel. (The picture is irrelevant - just a place in Manchester)

Location is fantastic, 5 min fr Man Piccadilly station and near to Piccadilly Garden. Tram and free city bus nearby. Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful . My daughter was sick during the stay, I called and they get me the thermometer and bottle water within minutes. Staffs in the cafe are helpful and gave me a big tray to bring breakfast up for my sick teen. Room is clean , bed is comfortable, just pillow is too soft. No toothbrush provided, slipper upon request, water pressure is good. My room is on 3rd floor facing main road outside train station but I can’t hear any noise outside. I’ll stay here again if I come to Man again. Manchester is a lovely city with friendly peoples though I didn’t have enough time spent around. Quick and convenient todo day trip to Liverpool which another lovely city

Great location within 3 mins to St Peter's tram stop. Next to Chinatown and walking distance to Selfridges shopping area. There's a parking spot within 2 blocks away, Q Park Piazza, which is very convenient but it ain't cheap (as its in the city centre) Overall, recommended place to stay for a 'home experience' away from home.

The hotel is within walking distance of both Oxford Street and Piccadilly Station. The rooms are apartment-style, complete with kitchenware, a stove, and a microwave. The front desk staff were quite friendly and welcoming. While there appeared to be a bar on the first floor in the evenings, the rooms were well soundproofed, so we weren't disturbed by any noise.

Friendly and welcoming staff with nothing too much trouble. We booked a high room on 10th floor which was quiet and great views of the city. Excellent varied breakfast cooked to your order. Great service all round with own gym and use of the Nuffield pool across the road for £5 but do take your own towel. Brilliant location in the center of town next to Victoria Station. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

I stayed at Moxy Manchester while on a work do, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The hotel is in the perfect location—right in the heart of town, close to everything you need. Location was rather far from the Piccadilly train station — 15 min walk, (contrary to what others mentioned) so it’s a little inconvenient for those dragging a large suit case. They gave me an accessibility room at the start but I managed to change it due to the help of the lovely blond counter staff! There was a male staff who was extremely nice during check out as well. Staff deserve a 10/10! The room was nice — bed was large, room was spacious and clean. Only gripe was the small window which made the room feel a little stuffy. Room comes with a small fridge, iron and the bare toiletries. No slippers, toothbrushes! Overall, must better experience compared to their other branch at Manchester central (although I must say that that branch is more central compared to the Piccadilly outlet; public transport and food options wise), especially in terms of their staff. Would stay again but only if I’m out of more convenient options in Manchester.

Took my mum for a treat and for her to reminisce. wow!! We were not disappointed, it was a fantastic stay. The Building and architecture is stunning, huge tall ceilings and windows. Beautiful tiles everywhere, elegant dining and meeting rooms. Our room was fab, two double beds, lovely free snack box, posh teas and coffees. We loved the 5pm social hour, a chance to mingle with the other guests and an hour of free drinks and snacks. Breakfast was also great, it was extremely busy as the hotel was fully booked the night before so I did feel the staff were overstretched and there was a wait for fresh eggs and tea / coffee… but hey we were in no rush. Just beautiful… can’t wait to go again.

Ideal location close to train station. Booked a standard room which was clean and warm . Large king size bed but no wardrobe or drawers for clothes a few hangers on a rail and small shelves ok for 1 night only. View was of main road and graffiti covered building so maybe request inland room. Has fridge , kettle and small supply of tea coffee milk but not replaced adequately. Need to ask for more. Staff were very pleasant. Used the swimming pool which is quite small but heated. Small sauna but steam room out of action . Changing facilities ok . Probably wouldn’t stay again as better rooms for the price .

There's a small nook behind the wall in the photo that would be perfect for a small table and chair. They offer free hot water on the ground floor. Luggage storage is £5, early check-in is £20, and an extra cleaning service is £15. While there aren't a ton of services, the pricing is transparent and reasonable. The place is clean and in an excellent location, very close to Piccadilly Gardens and Manchester Piccadilly train station, making public transport incredibly convenient. You'll find everything you need nearby, including KFC, McDonald's, Starbucks, Costa, Subway, Lidl, Tesco, Sainsbury's, and even Heytea.

The room window was a bit small, so it was a little dim. I stayed for 4 nights, and no one cleaned the room or changed the towels during that time. I left some clothes in the room, and the staff promptly emailed me, offering to return them to me at my convenience. There's also a hotel deposit of around £100, which takes a bit longer to be refunded, probably due to international processing times. The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel is very close to the University of Manchester, with a supermarket nearby. It's very convenient, and there's a 250 bus that goes directly to the biggest shopping center. The bathroom design was a bit odd; the water switch for the shower was opposite the showerhead, and the shower stall itself was about 10 cm higher than the rest of the bathroom, which felt a bit strange.

Excellent price and good location for Piccadilly and Oxford Road train stations. Ideal location for our trip - a concert at the Manchester Academy down by the uni. As good as any of the big branded hotels (Premier Inn etc), at a much better price. Selected also due to good availability of twin rooms, great for travelling friends. Option of breakfast (we didn't take this) and the hotel features a decent bar by the looks of it. Sub 10mins walk from train stations and on the edge of the city centre proper makes for a great location. Good access to various pubs nearby too. Room was clean, quiet, good size, excellent size. I stayed at Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre for a business trip and it was exactly what I needed, simple, efficient, and reliable. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from the station and close to everything, which makes it easy when your days are packed with meetings or travel plans. The room was clean and comfortable, nothing over the top but well thought out. The bed was good, the shower worked perfectly, and after long days that’s really what matters. Absolutely loved our stay at The Midland Manchester – everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and couldn’t do enough for us. Every member of the team made us feel genuinely looked after, and the service throughout was faultless. The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud – we had some of the best nights’ sleep we’ve had in ages! The room service was prompt, professional, and the food was delicious – a real treat after a long day exploring the city. Speaking of relaxing – the spa was absolutely divine. Clean, calming, and wonderfully designed, it was the perfect escape. The massage was one of the best I’ve ever had – incredibly soothing and tailored to perfection. If you’re in need of some proper pampering, this is the place to be. Location-wise, you couldn’t ask for better. Right in the heart of Manchester, everything is within walking distance, yet the hotel still manages to feel like a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. All in all, The Midland is a true gem. Comfortable, elegant, and run by an outstanding team. We’ll absolutely be back!

The Hampton by Hilton in the Northern Quarter is upholding the image of the Hilton standard quite well, the service given by the staff was second to none, being given complimentary early check in and late check out was a sprinkle of excellence which I appreciated a lot during my stay, there was only two things I could criticise which was the cleanliness of the bathroom (shower had issue with water draining correctly, creating stains of surfaces) and the lack of choice of eggs on the breakfast buffet, although to counter the latter point, this was the first buffet breakfast I had encountered that had a waffle maker! Which more than made up for the singular choice of scrambled eggs. Bed was comfy, room was spacious, distance from the city centre was good, would stay again.
