If you are going to oslob for the whale sharks, this is the best place to book! They are a walking distance from the bus stop. Just a 2 min walk after you get off the bus! The hotel is small but extremely clean. The hotel staff are very helpful and they book you for the whale sharks. You will be on 1 of the first boats to get in the water. To see the whale sharks. Their diver comes at 5am to pick you up and take you! Just book 1 night - do the whale sharks and leave as their is nothing much to do in oslob. That’s the only reason people go to oslob for. The breakfast service is extremely slow and disgusting. We waited 40 mins to get a plate of 2 toast and 1 egg and 1 sausage, it’s not satisfactory at all! There is a 7//11 near by so just get some thing to eat there. Because we were very hungry when we got back and had to wait 40 mins so it was very frustrating! I advise get to the breakfast area ASAP after you’re done with the whale sharks or just buy something from the 7//11 to combine with your breakfast. For dinner - there are some local street foods around. The rooms are big, bathroom is big but the shower head was broken. The WiFi is extremely slow, the towels are very old and worn out, almost thinning out ( seems to be used for 20 years- that’s how worn out it is) all In all, the place is just suitable for 1 night just for the whale sharks. Advise you to use a good underwater camera. Use your phone at your own riskFrom€18

We loved our stay at Seafari! The place looks like something out of a postcard—perched under a cliff with dreamy views and its own little private beach.
Now, full disclosure: to get there, you’ll have to conquer what felt like a thousand stairs (okay, maybe just 50 meters of cliffside steps, but our legs don’t know the difference). Totally worth it though!

Take a 5 pm cargo ship from the LA LANA pier in Tin Island to the LILO-ON pier in Cebu. It's dark at 7 o'clock ashore, take the last yellow bus back to Cebu South Station, and tell the ticket seller the name address, about 10-15 minutes almost there. When checking in, take the initiative to ask if you want to see a whale shark. If needed, provide early calling and queuing services. A 50ps service fee will be added on the basis of 1000ps. The booked triple room has poor conditions and must be mentally prepared. After all, it is only one night. The next day at 5 o’clock, someone called the door to wake up, walked about 8 minutes to the whale shark point after the assembly, and started to watch the whale shark at about 6 o'clock. The first boat set off and the store agent was very powerful in line.
The other is their own restaurant. The dishes are very delicious and definitely the most delicious in 9 days in the Philippines! !! !!From€13

We rented a bungalow house. It turns out to be a very small house, there is only a bed and two shelves. That is, there is no space at all. There was a fan in the house, but it was a little stuffy for me. The toilet is shared. There is no shower, there is a shared washbasin. They don’t have a cafe, we rode a tricycle to a cafe a little further away. The owner was hospitable and tried to help. Wi-Fi is free and good. There is access to the water, but swimming is not very convenient, there is no beach, only rocks. Also, at the same time, other people in a large group came to this hotel with us. They sang karaoke loudly and walked until the morning. And in the morning they turned on loud music. That is, if you want silence, then decide for yourself. The house is not soundproofed.From€9

Excellent hostel for shark spotting! It's literally right across from where the boats depart. If you contact the hotel in advance, they can likely help with booking a slot, so you won't have to wake up at 5 AM. We didn't do this on the first day, so we had to get up, but for a very small fee, they helped us with the queue (allowing us to go back to the hotel to sleep more) and then with boarding. On the second day, we decided to swim again, and this time they simply offered to book a time for us, and we got to wake up at a comfortable 7 AM. The hotel itself is very vibrant and cheerful. The beds are creaky, of course, but comfortable. All in all, for a 2-day stay, it's perfect!From€6

We had a good stay at this place! The pool is clean and refreshing, and the rooms are spacious enough for two guests. Having a CR with a heater was definitely a plus, and the service was okay.
On the downside, the breakfast could be improved, as they charge the same price even if some items (like eggs) are missing. Food options are also quite limited, and the rocky shore might not appeal to those who aren't fans of rugged seaside views.

Service is excellent and very helpful. Owner even woke up at 1 am to make sure we catch our bus.(Thank you so much) Very good location (Aircon bus going back to Cebu starts at 1AM, hourly. Even have a nearby boat going to Dumaguete and Siquijor!) Our room has a good sunset view. Minor issues but its what we paid for. We’ll come back if we have time!

While the people working at the 'resort' were really very very nice, the place itself was not. The whole place appears to be in pretty poor condition with minimal anesthetics. Rooms for 1-2 persons are very small (but ok for sleeping) , my room did not have wifi reception (I had to go out to a dining area near the pool to get any signal, so no privacy), the pool was nice and the water clear but the sides were lightly green with algae. That said, there are lots of jeepkos for getting around very cheaply, a nice shopping center relatively close, and you couldn't ask for kinder, nicer, more helpful hosts!
Note: There is no real beach near there, just short narrow areas with a bit of sand and a lot of rocks at the waters edge. The sea is really beautiful and clear, but also lots of rock or coral. Also, most (not quite all) other 'resorts' in the area looked to be in similar condition. From€22

1. Expensive booking! Whale Shark Park booking 1000P / person, hotel booking 1800P / person, boat ticket 500P / person, hotel booking 900P / person, the most important thing is to start at 11:40, let you go out at 9!
2. The hotel environment is very general, you must be prepared to go there!
advantage:
1. Cheap, relatively high cost performance compared to surrounding hotels;

Замечательный отель! Милая девушка на ресепшене. Всё рассказала, где байк поставить показала, на снорклинг с китовыми акулами записала. Гид нас пораньше разбудил, провёл на место, минуя всю очередь посадил в лодку (в очереди все те, кто самостоятельно пришли, без тура. Цена практически такая же, а времени уходит очень много именно на стояние в очереди). Кстати, отель в 500 метров от плавания с китовыми, что тоже очень удобно.
Номер тоже понравился: чистый, красивый, удобный, с прекрасным видом на лес (вверху). Единственное, что внизу дорога и ночью большие фуры, проезжающие мимо, нас будили. Наверное, лучше брать вид на другую сторону.
Кто захочет остановиться в этом районе острова, нужно учесть, что как стемнеет можно не найти где поужинать. Так что позаботьтесь об этом заранее.From€18

We are a group of 3 pax and stayed in their pink color room. The color room is a bunk bed which can accommodate maximum of 4 pax (with no any charges as it is a quadruple room).
There is a private bathroom but no water every morning so you have to use their bathroom outside located near their mini canteen.
The hotel is 10 minutes away if you’ll walk going to the whaleshark watching site but only 5 minutes away via tricycle. They can provide you the whaleshark watching tour which costs P500 just add P50 if you wanna ride a tricycle going there.SOLD OUT

From our arrival to the end of our stay the hotel staff were very helpful and attentive.
The room was clean, however the air-con temperature setting could not be controlled by the remote control or on the machine itself. It was set to 24 all the time.
Bathroom was adequate too.
The restaurant had two areas, indoor and outdoor, both brilliant to see the sun rise in the morning. Food was great!
The massage chair was an extra treat.
An elevator would be great to help guests going up floors especially for seniors and those who have knee problems as the hotel has 3 floors and the stairs are quite steep with each step.
The swimming pool was cool but lacked extra deck chairs due to space restrictions.From€36

The hotel is in a great location, right by the sea, and conveniently close to a 7-Eleven.
The room is spacious but has a musty smell. There are no toiletries provided, and the door lock doesn’t feel very secure.
The most disappointing part of our stay—and something I strongly advise everyone against—is booking a tour through the hotel. Before purchasing, we specifically asked if the tour included equipment, lunch, and entrance fees, and the hotel assured us that everything was covered. However, upon arriving at Sumilon Island, we had to pay for lunch, rent equipment, and even cover the entrance fee ourselves.From€23

It is very close to the Whale Shark Point. You can buy tickets directly at his hotel. The fare is 100p per person. It is recommended to book tickets at his house. Don't ask why you go to the queue and try it out. The room is relatively large, we booked a twin room with children and the two are double beds, and there is no extra charge. The room has a private bathroom with hot water and you can take a bath. After watching the whale shark, come back to take a hot bath and eat breakfast. Duma was still relaxed and comfortableFrom€26

After checking out the local houses, we were pleasantly surprised by this cabin. We arrived at night, and there was a bakery in front, so the lights were warm. There was also light in the small courtyard, which was quite nice. The biggest surprise was the cleanliness. While the room amenities were standard, the floor, bed, and bathroom were spotless—cleanliness is paramount at this price. The bed was also incredibly large, perfectly accommodating two adults and two children. The driver was incredibly helpful and helpful. For 100 yuan, he took care of everything from picking us up in a car to queuing and picking up our belongings. We woke up at 4 a.m. and were among the first group to hit the water, enjoying a stunning sunrise. 👍
Cons: You need to bring your own mineral water, slippers, and toothbrush. The shampoo, shower gel, and toothbrush were packaged in standard sizes. After watching the whale sharks, it was a bit noisy heading back to the hotel to sleep because it was close to the road.From€26
