That was the best experience! We arrived by ferry from Panglao to Oslob early morning. Came to hotel. Even check-in time was 14:00, the host took our luggage and opened the room earlier. It was 9 am, so we even managed to go to whale sharks same morning. Shuttle from hotel took us to place, where special guide meet us and guided to boat. Everything was fast, we didn’t stand in a line, no waiting at all. Also hotel organises tours to Sumillon island and Turmalog falls. Exceptional service! Номера простые, но чистые и уютные, с кондиционером и собственной ванной комнатой. Отдельно хочется отметить идеально чистые и белые полотенца и постельное белье. Всегда есть горячая вода с неплохим напором. А еще в номерах очень тихо, что редкость для Филиппин.
Персонал очень дружелюбный и всегда готов помочь: могут организовать трансфер к китовым акулам или аренду скутера.
Куллер с водой, кофе и чай доступны в течение всего дня, что приятно.

Although this hotel is between ‘ports’ that make up the Cebu coast and between the whale watching areas, I’d highly recommend this place.
After requesting a room with a view, I was not disappointed! My own private balcony overlooking the beach and waves lapping to send me off to sleep.
Arriving late, the amazing and friendly staff kept the kitchen open for me and I was reminded of the friendly reputation of the Philippines people.
Now one surprise was the 250 odd steps one needs to get to your rooms - but the view alone is worth it and the staff have a pulley system to send your luggage up or down for your convenience! And silver lining, the steps means no need for holiday exercise!FromPKR 7,273

Take a 5 pm cargo ship from the LA LANA pier in Tin Island to the LILO-ON pier in Cebu. It's dark at 7 o'clock ashore, take the last yellow bus back to Cebu South Station, and tell the ticket seller the name address, about 10-15 minutes almost there. When checking in, take the initiative to ask if you want to see a whale shark. If needed, provide early calling and queuing services. A 50ps service fee will be added on the basis of 1000ps. The booked triple room has poor conditions and must be mentally prepared. After all, it is only one night. The next day at 5 o’clock, someone called the door to wake up, walked about 8 minutes to the whale shark point after the assembly, and started to watch the whale shark at about 6 o'clock. The first boat set off and the store agent was very powerful in line.
The other is their own restaurant. The dishes are very delicious and definitely the most delicious in 9 days in the Philippines! !! !!FromPKR 3,497

The hotel is very close to the whale sharks. They have a package that can take you to see the waterfalls, whale sharks and island hopping. The hotel is quite sunny and does not have a refrigerator. We rented a bungalow house. It turns out to be a very small house, there is only a bed and two shelves. That is, there is no space at all. There was a fan in the house, but it was a little stuffy for me. The toilet is shared. There is no shower, there is a shared washbasin. They don’t have a cafe, we rode a tricycle to a cafe a little further away. The owner was hospitable and tried to help. Wi-Fi is free and good. There is access to the water, but swimming is not very convenient, there is no beach, only rocks. Also, at the same time, other people in a large group came to this hotel with us. They sang karaoke loudly and walked until the morning. And in the morning they turned on loud music. That is, if you want silence, then decide for yourself. Pool with lighting in the evening, to the sound of the waves. Massage as a gift. What hands the masseur has, it's complete relaxation. At the hotel you can arrange a trip to see sharks, they picked us up at 4 am right from the hotel. THEY DROVE US, accompanied us, explained everything, took pictures. The bus stop is opposite the hotel. We swam there during the day, fish swim under the stairs! They helped with the charger. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Way Shack Hostel is in a fantastic location for visiting the whale sharks. If you speak to Ken at the hostel, he can help arrange the whale shark excursion, it cost me 500 pesos and was super easy to organize.
That said, I’d recommend only a one-night stay here. We were disturbed both nights by heavy goods vehicles passing by the hostel late at night, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, aside from the whale shark activity, there’s not much else around the hostel to keep yourself entertained.
A scooter is essential to travel to the local town for food or supplies. The hostel staff can help arrange a rental if you need one.
On the plus side, the room was clean and equipped with air conditioning, which made it comfortable for a short stay.
Overall, Way Shack Hostel is a practical and budget-friendly option for a quick stopover if you’re visiting the whale sharks, but it’s not ideal for a longer stay.FromPKR 1,709

We had a good stay at this place! The pool is clean and refreshing, and the rooms are spacious enough for two guests. Having a CR with a heater was definitely a plus, and the service was okay.
On the downside, the breakfast could be improved, as they charge the same price even if some items (like eggs) are missing. Food options are also quite limited, and the rocky shore might not appeal to those who aren't fans of rugged seaside views.

Service is excellent and very helpful. Owner even woke up at 1 am to make sure we catch our bus.(Thank you so much) Very good location (Aircon bus going back to Cebu starts at 1AM, hourly. Even have a nearby boat going to Dumaguete and Siquijor!) Our room has a good sunset view. Minor issues but its what we paid for. We’ll come back if we have time!

While the people working at the 'resort' were really very very nice, the place itself was not. The whole place appears to be in pretty poor condition with minimal anesthetics. Rooms for 1-2 persons are very small (but ok for sleeping) , my room did not have wifi reception (I had to go out to a dining area near the pool to get any signal, so no privacy), the pool was nice and the water clear but the sides were lightly green with algae. That said, there are lots of jeepkos for getting around very cheaply, a nice shopping center relatively close, and you couldn't ask for kinder, nicer, more helpful hosts!
Note: There is no real beach near there, just short narrow areas with a bit of sand and a lot of rocks at the waters edge. The sea is really beautiful and clear, but also lots of rock or coral. Also, most (not quite all) other 'resorts' in the area looked to be in similar condition. SOLD OUT

1. Expensive booking! Whale Shark Park booking 1000P / person, hotel booking 1800P / person, boat ticket 500P / person, hotel booking 900P / person, the most important thing is to start at 11:40, let you go out at 9!
2. The hotel environment is very general, you must be prepared to go there!
advantage:
1. Cheap, relatively high cost performance compared to surrounding hotels;

Замечательный отель! Милая девушка на ресепшене. Всё рассказала, где байк поставить показала, на снорклинг с китовыми акулами записала. Гид нас пораньше разбудил, провёл на место, минуя всю очередь посадил в лодку (в очереди все те, кто самостоятельно пришли, без тура. Цена практически такая же, а времени уходит очень много именно на стояние в очереди). Кстати, отель в 500 метров от плавания с китовыми, что тоже очень удобно.

We are a group of 3 pax and stayed in their pink color room. The color room is a bunk bed which can accommodate maximum of 4 pax (with no any charges as it is a quadruple room).
There is a private bathroom but no water every morning so you have to use their bathroom outside located near their mini canteen.
The hotel is 10 minutes away if you’ll walk going to the whaleshark watching site but only 5 minutes away via tricycle. They can provide you the whaleshark watching tour which costs P500 just add P50 if you wanna ride a tricycle going there.SOLD OUT

Amazing hotel! If you want to see the whale sharks, the location is perfect, as you need to get there around 3 AM to get a ticket. The tourist guide of the hotel spent the whole day with us, taking us to see the whale sharks, white sand beach island and Tumalog falls - amazing service! I spent unforgettable days at Seascape Beach Resort Oslob, and this place became a real paradise on earth!
Firstly, the location is simply magical: incredible sea views that open right from the hotel grounds create a feeling of complete unity with nature. Morning sunrises here are something completely special, and the evening sound of the waves acts as an ideal meditation.
Secondly, the service is beyond praise. The staff is always smiling, attentive and ready to help with any issue. Such a warm attitude makes the holiday not just comfortable, but truly soulful.
The rooms are stylish, small, but very clean. The view from the windows is a separate bonus! Every element is thought out: comfortable beds, nice bed linen.
The food in the restaurant is a whole other story. Tropical fruits and local dishes - every meal turned into a small gastronomic holiday.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. Parking is also convenient. However, the hotel phone can not be reached because there is no signal or anything, the contact is provided by email, Ctrip service can provide, we are family free. I was relieved by the bus because I didn't know the time until 9 o'clock in the evening, and I communicated with the boss through emails along the way. The boss is a gentle girl who can help buy tickets to see the whale sharks. Her uncle helps to pick up and drop off. The price is reasonable. The hotel is near the road to see the whale sharks. The domestic traveler next door also gave snacks to my children. The people along the way were very warm and friendly. The hotel is 1 km from the sharks' area, walking. The bus from Sebu has stopped right next to the bakery behind the hotel. Everything you need (including the teapot, the fan and hot water) is there. The bakery works 24 hours a day, next to a restaurant with stunning views on the sea. But the main thing is the manager of the hotel Fin, who quickly booked the time of swimming with sharks, took over and back and took 100 peso for the service! He also organized a transfer to the ferry, pre-specifying the time of his departure on a particular day. Very lucky he was so effective and ready to help! |10.8km from city centerAlthough this hotel is between ‘ports’ that make up the Cebu coast and between the whale watching areas, I’d highly recommend this place.
After requesting a room with a view, I was not disappointed! My own private balcony overlooking the beach and waves lapping to send me off to sleep.
Arriving late, the amazing and friendly staff kept the kitchen open for me and I was reminded of the friendly reputation of the Philippines people.
Now one surprise was the 250 odd steps one needs to get to your rooms - but the view alone is worth it and the staff have a pulley system to send your luggage up or down for your convenience! And silver lining, the steps means no need for holiday exercise!
