The room was amazing, clean and big. The reception staff was brilliant. How ever we ran into a problem with one member of staff who was rude ( gave us dirty looks ) after we complained about our food order been wrong. We sent the same meal back 5 times after it was wrong. This was not a language barrier either because we translated it for said person. We told the manager who never got back to us. Other than that problem, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.From€24

Very good room, clean and got nice amenities. There is a rooftop smoking area on the 7th Floor that is 24/7, if you want easy access then be sure to ask to stay on the 7th floor. There's free lemon water downstairs in the lobby. Breakfast is quite decent, they make you a few different noodles as well as your standard breakfast buffet. There is a deposit of $100 USD required and they prefer cash as paying with card can take 1-30 days to return the money. There is some temporary parking out front so getting transport is quite easy, as well as getting food delivered. This place isn't marked on Grab so you'll need to be quite precise with the location for delivery, as well as providing a picture of outside of the hotel for your Grab delivery address. The room itself has automatic curtains, multi-styled plugs for international travelers, good lighting so you can sleep with the right amount of lights on if you want to. Hotel staff is confirmed to be 24/7 at reception, they'll always be someone there and they speak quite good English. Around the corner is a small local convenience store for buying extra water or local cigarettes. Down the road a bit is a 24/7 ABA Bank ATM that withdraws only in USD in amounts of 100USD bills so getting deposit for this place isn't that hard. However because the ATM does only 100USD bills, breaking this note at local shops is quite difficult.From€30

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a truly wonderful experience. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was soft and cozy, which made it easy to relax and sleep well after a long day. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and all the facilities in the room were in great condition.
The bathroom was very clean and hot water available at all times. Housekeeping did an excellent, keeping everything fresh and tidy.

Seems like things are falling apart in the room we was inn.
Shower was not properly made. I had to fix it so water wouldn't go out from it because a magnet seam on the shower was mounted wrong way.. TV that wasn't updated since it was a smarttv and only way to see anything on it was with wifi but the TV didn't find the network we sat up ourself with Hotspot. Floor was peeling off in some places. Asked to fix TV so we could watch something but no update. The phone in the room couldnt call down to reception. Was badly cleaned in the shower area. Seem just easily cleaned. Still dust inside the sink closet.
Door not properly fixed in the shower. Tried to fix it but noticed the stopper was the problem. Badly made tiles in the shower area. But for the price I think it's okay. They say you get a discount. We paid 25 dollar I believe and it's should have been 84 dollar. But it's not strange they put the price down. They let the hotel fall apart.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, despite it being just for one night. The staff kindly upgraded us to a luxurious 2-room apartment with a stunning view of the Independence Monument. The rooms were spotless, and we appreciated the cooking facilities. The rooftop offered a great view, making it a perfect spot to unwind.
The only downside was the WiFi. The in-room WiFi was weak and often disconnected. Hopefully, they can improve on this aspect.

On this trip I upgraded to one of their apartments and that made my week even more comfortable.. Very spacious, bath, 2 showers 2 toilets, 2 good aircon units and a small balcony overlooking Wat Botum pagoda.
A good family sized fridge freezer meant my drinks, milk meats and cheeses were cold.
Basic utensils but top tip, bring a normal cutlery knife.
Located on 4th floor, I woas treated to a spooky but spectacular lightning show without the rumble of thunder. Stood on balcony and had a fantastic view.
Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfasts still very good, simple but plenty. However going 'self-catering' allowed me to get my cornflakes and ice cold milk in the morning. Cannot beat that!
Next visit will see me booking an apartment only. So so convenient.
Again, Le Botum was a superb location for me.
Go to street 172. Plenty of expats....some characters too...and a 24hr supermarket called 'Smile' and you will. So much British stuff, it could have been anywhere in the UK.

We had a perfectly pleasant and quite a memorable stay at Plantation. The place is very beautiful, aesthetically peaceful and hence very calming. The rooms are very harmonious and spacious with high-quality furnishings, very comfortable bed/pillow, great water pressure etc., and overall very clean. The pool was visually stunning, surrounded by trees and cabanas; And was quite frequently cleaned, ridding it of leaves from the trees above. The whole place feels like a ”green haven” with flora and quite a few birds and frogs, and this amount of greenery is something we really love, but did not expect to find in Cambodia!
The people who keep it clean and running are the silent backbone of the place and I really appreciate the smiles and the greetings that feel quite genuine. Although I did encounter a couple of rude staff, with a mildly biased behaviour, I'm inclined to rather shrug it off keeping the other kind staff in mind.
Overall, a very pleasing and memorable stay at Plantation, that I'll definitely choose again.From€52

This is my first time in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. My friend recommended this Sunflower Apartment Hotel, which is close to the airport, only a 20-minute drive away. Although the hotel is a bit old, the overall environment is still very good and it is worth staying again.From€52

The location is lovely and as you arrive there’s a real wow feeling.
The service is excellent and the whole team are delightful.
The pool was beautiful and the gardens were really lovely.
It was really quiet when we were there so the restaurant was often empty besides us which felt a bit strange. The food was fine but could have been hotter, it felt that presentation took priority over heat. The prices in the restaurant seemed quite high.
I love the idea that this place is eco friendly however if guests are expected to top up water bottles the water stations should be clean and inviting.
The gym was a bit scruffy and not inviting but then I wasn’t there for that!
The place is relatively new however there were definite signs of the rooms being tired but I think if cleaned more would make the place look spectacular - which I guess is the desired effect. Eg. Our courtyard was very scruffy and not welcoming. The TV wasn’t working and the windows in the apartment desperately needed cleaning.
Some little touches and attention to detail would bring this back to the 5* glory that it should be.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and hope that the management team take my comments on board because I think it could be fabulous.From€81

I've stayed at this hotel before and received excellent service; everything was perfect. Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience during my last stay. My girlfriend was waiting for me at the bar on the 49th floor while I was in a meeting before dinner. A chef, apparently the bartender said he was Italian, passed by several times staring at my girlfriend and making her uncomfortable. This is outside the Shangri-La standards; I stay at various hotels in the chain weekly and this has never happened before. It's regrettable!From€132

I recently stayed at Novotel Phnom Penh and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The hotel is new, modern, and beautifully designed, with a location that’s extremely convenient — just steps away from convenience stores and plenty of great restaurants.
The breakfast selection was outstanding, with a wide variety of options. Their signature rice noodles are an absolute must-try!
What impressed me the most was the exceptionally friendly and thoughtful service. When I checked out and was waiting for my car, one of the staff members even offered me a takeaway coffee — a small gesture that truly made a big difference.
I’ll definitely choose Novotel Phnom Penh again when I return to Cambodia. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Phnom Penh!
