This location is in the heart of Florence and perfect walking distance to all the sights. After speaking with the woman who checked us in, we found out this is a family run B&B. A granddaughter and grandfather and one other women who this beautiful hotel. I was happy to support a family-run hotel/B&B. They were so kind! The rooms are so beautiful, transporting you to another time. The A/C worked great! There is even a little courtyard you can relax in. It was a great stay and I can't recommend this enough. Support family-run businesses!

Book here because the roof terrace can see the dome, the train station is 10 minutes walk, it is very convenient, the room is small, but it is very clean, the weather is getting cold in October, the room is only covered by sheets, told the front desk, give I added a thick blanket, no elevator, and it was hard to carry my luggage.

My partner and I spent a weekend in Florence and had an amazing stay here. The accommodation is a short walk from the tram station and the central market with easy access to all the major sites. Our room was clean, modern, spacious, comfortable and well-appointed with a lovely bottle of Chianti awaiting our arrival. The breakfast is extensive with a good range of options and a great choice of good quality products. The host, Celestine, is the kindest, most caring and considerate man you will ever meet who went above and beyond in ensuring that we enjoyed our weekend away. His communication pre-arrival was excellent. He greeted us on arrival and carried our cases up two flights of stairs, and then spent time making some excellent recommendations in terms of restaurants and places to visit on our arrival. I was seriously ill on our last day of our stay and Celestine checked in regularly with my partner sending regular messages to see if I was ok or needed anything. Following the cancellation of our flight back to the UK on the Sunday evening due to the storm, Celestine was extremely helpful in allowing us to keep our room and extend our stay for another night. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this accommodation to anyone who is looking to stay in Florence.

La receptionist è super cordiale e la titolare degli alloggi veramente simpatica e gentilissima e ci ha lasciato una mappa della città e delle indicazioni su dove andare a mangiare. La camera, che si raggiunge con le scale o con ascensore, era pulita, in ordine, luminosa e con un balcone. Arrivati abbiamo trovato dei cioccolatini di benvenuto, tisane, caffè, bagnoschiuma, shampoo, asciugamani e coperte pulite. Il posto è veramente tranquillo e non dà sulla strada principale quindi si possono dormire sonni tranquilli. Consigliato per chi cerca il migliore rapporto qualità prezzo e un posto molto vicino alla stazione e al centro di Firenze.

I have seen there are no recent reviews so will update you on our visit. First off this is NOT a hotel and they do not have any services at all. They don't advertise that so it is what is says a B&B. Our room way extremely small even for europe rooms. The bathroon was the size of a telephone booth. The drain did not work at all and within 2 minutes the pan was filled and overflowing into the bathroom. You can not use the shower bascially. The air conditioning works but sounds like there are coins bashing around in it and can't really be used at all. No way to sleep in the room with that noise.. its not just a little noise it rattling really loudly. The person that run the place is only there from 2-6pm. He was very nice and helpful. If you need anything after that you are on your own. He said call him and he can come back. But hardly feels right calling a guy to run over to bring extra towels. While the location is excellent..... without a fan or air conditioning the outside noise it unbearable. Loud parties and people have fun below until at least 4:00am. I think I was dosing here and there as I heard about 30 people signing happy birthday at 3:30am. I know we had the smallest room but had I been there a second night I would have checked out a day early. This again is not a hotel I would say its a dorm room with a view.

My wife and I enjoyed our vacation in Florence, and staying at Matteo's welcoming and cozy place was part of this wonderful experience. We booked the Family/Deluxe room directly through their website, which made it convenient to communicate with the host to ask about the room choice, arrival process, etc. through WhatsApp in real-time. The room on the second floor was spacious and very quiet (the latter was particularly important since we are both light sleepers). The Villa was within walking distance of the Florence Historical Center, a nice 25-30 min stroll to the main attractions. Matteo took his time to give us an overview of the city and recommendations about museums, historical landmarks, and restaurants (including those off the beaten path). We also took a day trip to Siena and Mateo helped a great deal to plan the itineraries including what to see on the way to Siena and where to stop for dinner. It was also nice to interact with other B&B guests during daily breakfasts, served by David who spoke several languages and was kind and attentive to all questions and requests. Since there is so much left to see in Florence and nearby towns, and if we come back to Florence, we will definitely stay at this B&B place again.

This four room small lodging was perfect for our Florence visit. It’s located on the third level of a large building. You have to walk up one level to the elevator but the owner carries our bags up for us. Our room was sparkling clean and attractive with a tv and instant coffee and tea and a refrigerator. The shower is small but workable. They don’t serve breakfast but our rate includes a voucher for a local restaurant for 7€ each per day of stay. The location is perfect for walking to different places. The host recommended some great restaurants, too. We loved it.

Abbiamo soggiornato due notti in questo b&b posizionato appena fuori la zona ztl. A poche centinaia di metri si trova la fermata dell'autobus per arrivare al centro storico. Sempre vicino c'è la pasticceria convenzionata dove poter far colazione. La stanza è spaziosa, pulita e funzionale. Nella zona comune si trova il bollitore e la macchinetta del caffè. Stefano, il titolare, ci ha accolto all'arrivo, seppur in ora tarda, e si è dimostrato disponibile per fornire informazioni e suggerimenti per il soggiorno. Ci ha anche permesso di lasciare i bagagli nella struttura il giorno della partenza. Insomma, gentilezza e comodità e quindi: consigliatissimo!

Il B&B è una splendida Villa di famiglia ristrutturata è adibita a struttura ricettiva dal sig. Mario e da suo fratello Alessio. Le camere sono quattro tutte arredate con stile e gusto. Mario e sua cognata due persone splendide e pronte sempre a far due chiacchiere. Presente parcheggio sia esterno che interno, buona la colazione con prodotti freschi. Struttura altamente consigliata soprattutto per chi cerca anche un po' di tranquillità. Grazie di tutto, sicuramente ci ritorneremo. There are few hotel staff. I sent an email to the parking place in advance. I didn't reply to it several times. I didn't have the hotel's website (Ctrip didn't provide the website address or the hotel email address), and it took a long time to stop. The reception was quite smooth. This is a great option for anyone looking to spend a few days in Florence on a budget. The hotel is centrally located and very close to Santa Maria Novella station, making it very accessible and great for day trips outside the city. Our room was clean and had basic amenities, but it was also a little cramped and not as spacious as it appeared on the listing. Also, the breakfast could have been better (some fruit and/or cereal would have been nice). The price of 4 people is still OK. But here we need to focus on complaining about Ctrip. This apartment belongs to a company that operates many homestay apartments in Florence. It uses contactless check-in. Now it is very common at home and abroad. However, using this check-in method requires complete communication in advance. Some need to register relevant information online in advance, and the homestay will inform the check-in guidelines. After the booking confirmation of Trip.com, I did not receive any email or telephone communication until the day of check-in. After contacting Trip.com customer service, they said that they could not contact the relevant agent. Let me leave the email and say that the agent will contact me. The contact number given on Trip.com is also problematic. After waiting for two hours without audio, I finally found the agency company belonging to this homestay online. After contacting by phone, I sent me an email for online registration and relevant check-in guidelines, which was done in 10 minutes. The staff of the homestay company said that they sent a lot of emails and there was no response. I don't comment on what went wrong. But since it is a contactless check-in method, Trip.com does not communicate in advance, no guidance information, and finally no news after looking for customer service. It can be said that there is no action. If there is no relevant experience, it can be imagined that the result is that the local people can't get in, the local contact number is wrong, and the embarrassing situation that can't be solved by Ctrip customer service.

WE totally enjoyed our stay at Il Salotto. Allessandro made reservations for our dinners, looked up train schedules for us and answered all our questions. He even allowed us to enjoy a late checkout. We spent 11 nights here, and enjoyed everyone of them. Our room was large and overlooked Via Roma. Housekeeping was exceptional and the breakfast was fantastic! We have stayed in Florence numerous times, but this is where we will be staying all our future visits.

On the south bank of the Arno River, it is quite convenient. It is not a problem to go in and out of a motorbike. The boss is very enthusiastic. The house is an old house, the floor is relatively thin, and the walk is not strong. It is still very comfortable to live.

Il Bargello is situated in an unbeatable location, close to everything in Florence. The service is very welcoming, and the rooms are in line with the price. The highlight is the abundant and varied breakfast, as well as the 24-hour coffee. The only downside is that we had a lot of luggage and there's no elevator, so we had to climb three long flights of stairs with all our belongings, but this seems to be a common issue in Italy. Interesting fact: in the room next door, there was a couple being very noisy while *********** all day, and it could be heard throughout the entire hotel, which was quite annoying.

We had such a lovely stay in this place. It is situated less than 10 minutes walk to S.M Novella train station and in the old city center, close to all the main attractions and sights. The place is located in an old building, the rooms were recently renovated, but in a classic way, extremely clean, with all the amenities included, very cosy and comfortable bed. Daniela is such a nice host, she provided very detailed all the steps for the self check-in as we arrived later, and we also received in the morning ‘a small kind of breakfast’, even though it was not included in our booking-just part of the house. :) Strongly recommend, will definitely book this place next time in Florence!

I booked for this tramiche booking facility, on February 1 for the weekend from April 23 to 25. It was confirmed to me until yesterday when I received an email that my card is not valid and that the booking was cancelled. I call the structure and I am told that at the time of booking I had not added the card CVC and that they could not confirm it to me, which is strange because you always have to put all the card data to confirm a booking I doubt that the mistake was my, rather than a mistake was made only to get more than I would have paid when I booked in February, being a very demanding weekend. The e-mail response time was 24 hours but at the time of the booking a phone number was given to which a call could be made before cancelling the booking. The damage now 2 weeks after the departure is irreparable since I have already bought the train and museum tickets. Structure not recommended. Booking idem.

We had a lovely stay at Lorena Suites. The staff were so friendly and helpful despite my embarrassing lack of Italian. Our room was large and beautifully decorated with plenty of places to store our items. It was clean with an excellent cold shower - just what you need after exploring all day in 40 degree heat! Air conditioning was also very welcome as was the well stocked mini bar - this felt reasonably priced in comparison with local shops and provided a few local Italian aperitivo as well. We had a balcony which offered an excellent view of the sunset over the tuscan countryside. When we arrived and realised we were on the 5th floor, I was very grateful to note there was a lift available to take us and our bags up. Lorena is roughly 20 minutes walk from the duomo but you aren’t too far from other points of interest. We spent €10 in a taxi to get there from Santa Maria Novella station and it was €18 to get back and the host was very helpful in arranging this taxi back for us. When we arrived, the taxi driver pointed out a restaurant on the corner (out of the gates and turn left) which he said offered the best bistecca in Florence. We were dubious but tried anyway and it was incredible - if you want authentic Italian cuisine and company would highly recommend skipping the walk back into the busier areas and going here instead. It is worth noting that some of the rooms face onto quite a busy main road. While this was not an issue at night, in the morning this was quite loud from early on - best to make sure the shutters are fully closed as we found this (plus a couple of bottle of chianti Classico) made for a peaceful lie in. All in all we had a wonderful stay in Lorena Suites, all was fantastic and we cannot wait to find an excuse to come back and visit!

We booked a standard double room for two nights. Right when we arrived, we were welcomed by Sam (the owner), who promptly gave us a brief overview and introduction to the city. I must say that Sam was very kind and attentive during all our stay! To our surprise, we found out that our room was upgraded to a deluxe one, which was lovely! The room is clean and the shower and bathroom are great. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the historical center of Florence.

Perfect location, amazing service, and outstanding decor! This boutique hotel is well worth a visit. The location is amazing, with beautiful views over the river and a short walk to all of the main sights. The decor is tasteful and of a very high standard. This was our first visit to Florence and we are keen to return. What made this so special was the service we received from our host and Aliche, a young lady that works here. On arrival, Aliche checked us in and advise us of the best times to take advantage of the sunset from our balcony. In addition, Aliche asked if we had plans for the next day and then went on to book tickets for a museum and Boboli Gardens, which were beautiful! Breakfast was not included, but we were recommended a nearby cafe used by all the locals, which was fabulous! (GAMBERI) When Aliche realised we were celebrating a birthday, they kindly arranged antipasti and wine for us when watching the sunset. Our whole visit was amazing and if you are visiting Florence we would recommend staying here!

The room is really big but the bathroom is not so comfortable. After all, in the 15th century, every waiter is super enthusiasm and the foreigner is very stubborn. He must introduce it to you at every part of the hotel. You are embarrassed to refuse. Haha parking is not good, after all, the breakfast in the old district is quite normal. Going downstairs, there are a few steps. There is a super-roy cafe and good coffee and good business.

We originally booked A Florence View B&B for 2020 which was postponed due to COVID & we had a voucher for a future stay. Giuliana at the B&B was extremely helpful in responding quickly to all our emails providing information for our new 4 night booking. The B&B is wonderfully situated you are literally surrounded by the main sites overlooking the Cathedral, Duomo, Bell Tower (it really is that close!) We were met by Leonardo who talked us through the main Florence sites & provided some great restaurants to try. A Florence View is situated in an historical building with old style furniture & decor, we had a Duomo view room which looked out onto the square (truly amazing you can’t be closer!) our accommodation had a room with a sofa, small table, fridge with tea & coffee making facilities. A separate bedroom plus bathroom with a powerful jet shower. All very clean. Breakfast was delivered to our room which was a lovely personal touch (there isn’t a separate dining room) All the main sites are within easy walking distance including the train station approx 10 mins. The friendliness & customer service was fantastic we would definitely recommend staying at A Florence View.

This is the second stay. As always, good. This is the longest stay in the same hotel in Italy. Stayed at this hotel for four consecutive nights. The hotel is ideally located 10 minutes walk from Central Station and less than 5 minutes from Santa Maria del Fiore. There are many people during the day, and going out to shoot the night scene at night is not the same. More commendable is the owner of the hotel. He is a man who is both sunny and enthusiastic, thoughtful and thoughtful. The design of the room allows you to be infected by the culture of the Renaissance as soon as you enter.

My wife and I spent 2 nights in Florence in October and the B&B San Remigio was a perfect choice. The rooms were spacious, unlike most hotel rooms in Europe. Andrea showed us around and made several recommendations, including seeing the sunset in the Piazzale Michelangelo, and many museums, etc. He also recommended excellent, reasonably priced restaurants. Breakfast was consisted of rolls, cold cuts, and you could prepare eggs how ever you liked them. A coffee machine was also available. Refrigerator in the kitchen came in handy, as my wife injured her ankle and we found a couple of ice packs in there, so they thought of everything. Area is close to everything, easy walking distance. Will definitely return and have no hesitation on recommending to anyone.

My family stayed 3 nights here and enjoyed it. Though really, only time in place was for breakfast and to sleep. If you stay in a room the whole time, you're doing florence wrong. The host is extremely friendly. Our room was on the 3rd floor, 2 bedrooms with a small kitchen, which we didn't use. It sucked dragging a bag to the 3rd floor, but that's the way it is. The room was clean and maintained as good as possible for how old the building was. Does a musty smell but nothing major. The host served breakfast quickly. It is between 730 and 1030. It consists of a croissant, small loaves of bread and cookies, and yogurt. There is butter and jelly for the breads. To drink, they had coffee, orange juice, and chocolate milk. The location is ok. It is a 10-minute walk to the train station. It takes about 10 to 15 to walk to the Duomo. The Uffizi gallery is 20 minutes. The accademia is maybe a 10-minute walk. We walked to Palazzo pitti and the top of Michelangelos over look, that was about a 45-minute walk to the overlook. If I had to do it again, I'd stay maybe on the other side of the train station, but it might be more loud. Our street was quiet.

Residenza Il Villino is the perfect choice for a stay in Florence. My husband and I stayed in the family room on the first floor (that was the only room available when I booked) and the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and the owner Barbara was delightful as well as very knowledgeable and helpful. She booked us tickets to the Uffuzi the day before our visit. You can easily walk to all the sights in Florence, and the street is residential and quiet. Bravo, Barbara!
