This is my 2nd stay at Tourist Inn... Oh, as a matter of fact, my 3rd stay because I decided to extend another day because of return flight was very late night and it was pass the check out time. Nevertheless, I truly enjoyed the hospitality of the staff - both Nawaz (the owner) and the workers. Once again, a true gesture of hospitality and going above and beyond when Nawaz picked me up from the jetty from my trip to Maafushi and took me to the jetty again to catch the airport ferry during my departure. He graciously offered me his bus pass for by day of exploration of the nearby Hulhumale - which made be practically experience various modes of transport in Male City - motorbikes (riding in tandem with him), cab, public bus (which was a very decent and on time), and the airport ferry. It was truly a cultural experience in Male, which I fancy, Additionally, just like my first stay at Tourist Inn, the room (4th level) was immaculately clean. Other details worth mentioning are: -warm shower -generous unlimited free wi-fi and was considerably fast (by my standard) -shared kitchen spotlessly clean with basic cutlery -coffee and tea in the room with an option to use Keurig -welcome fruits during my second stay which I love since I am vegetarian -good channel selections particularly local channels which I love for cultural experience -with a lift considering the facility is small but cute. I purposely avoided the lift for exercise. -great place to experience the local culture since the hotel is in the local area and very accessible to all shops, groceries, restaurants, bus stations, jetties. I love walking and the location has made me work out and enjoy the Maldivian culture as I walk around Male. -prompt in responding to questions and needs .... WhatsApp is truly a great tool!!! So many things to say about Tourist Inn... don't hesitate just book it in your stay in Male for great cultural experience. The hotel is well secured. Maldives is safe nation.

I have never seen a more disgusting place. This cannot be called a hotel. Bed linen is an incomplete set. Instead of a blanket, a synthetic blanket without a sheet, a synthetic towel. It’s like you’re in a barn: everything is tattered, there are traces of leaks, everything is completely miserable and destroyed at the price of a European hotel. Everything evokes a feeling of disgust. I don't recommend it to anyone.

I found this hotel at booking, sadly not so many reviews, but i decided to give it a chance. I really liked it, it was clean, very close to the ferry port (to and from the airport) so I arrived this way from the airport. Rooms are pretty and renewed. Bed was comfortable. Nice air conditioner and fan, both working and helped me to feel fresh. I had a dinner which was really tasty, my congratulations to the person who cooked it. Also overall all the staff were really friendly and polite. I had my departure early at the morning, so they packed my breakfast in a box. Liked: - Staff: Very friendly and polite. Always answered my emails and at the hotel they made my stay very nice. Thanks for this. - Location (5 minutes by walking to ferry) - Food, very tasty dinner (though I ordered a spicy food that I like, but if you don't be careful about what you order) - Room was clean and fresh. I really liked this place and I completely recommend it.

Hygiene: The most important thing for hotels in this price range in Madai is cleanliness. This one is very good. The room itself is relatively small, but very clean. The bathroom is particularly clean and there is no odor. This alone is worth the price of admission. Service: For a hotel, the second most important thing is the convenience of transfer. Inform your next destination when you check in, and the hotel will take the initiative to contact you for pick-up and drop-off. And the hotel itself is on the artificial main stage, very close. You need to return to the airport island from here to transfer water and speedboat, and you will be there in 10 minutes. Taking the initiative to carry luggage and so on is considered a standard feature of Maldives. What was beyond expectation was that the breakfast area was small but had an unparalleled view. Living on the 8th floor, having breakfast on the 9th floor, all with direct sea views. The flocks of pigeons downstairs are definitely an unforgettable memory. A hotel worth passing by again.

We stayed here for one night before flying out. It was a very good stay. No frills, just what was needed for a transit stay. The room was clean, amenities were good, the included breakfast was great and the fact that they included one-way airport transport was a bonus. They were also flexible with check-in (possibly a factor being we travelled during non peak months). The one downside, if it matters, is that the property is not beach-facing. Though it's a 2 minute walk away. The locality itself is fabulous. The beach is great, a public park (with skate ramp!) is nearby, and there are several options for restaurants. It's a good budget pick for a hotel for a one-night (or more) stay. I'd certainly stay in Hulhumale again rather than the more crowded Male!

The first day said that it was an airport pick-up. We waited for half an hour at the airport and didn't come. As a result, we called Ctrip and said that no one was picking up the plane, let us play the taxi ourselves. Later, I found Ctrip to handle the expenses for us. The downstairs of the room is the beach, but the beach is not good, and it is messy everywhere. No beach on the island is clean and beautiful. The room in the gourd horse is very small and very noisy, and the house is being built next to it. The room was clean and the breakfast was very simple. A few slices of bread and an omelette with a glass of orange juice were the same every day. It can only be used as a transition to the island for a day or two. There is no comparison with the island. On the second day, we took a taxi past Malé. The 10 minutes journey took us $25, it was too dark! The city of Male is the capital of the Maldives. Come and go out and see, the small capital. There are shops that exchange coins in the urban area, and RMB 100 is exchanged for 200 Lafia. $100 is for 1555 yuan of Lafia, and you can buy things with Lafia, and it’s a good deal to eat. It’s not worthwhile to pay in dollars! Half a day is enough. Don't go by boat, just take a taxi and go to the China-Malaysia Friendship Bridge in the past. When we went back, we exchanged the Lafia currency in Malé. We could rent it back to the hotel with only 100 Lafite. Equivalent to RMB 50.

Wait for the bus under the sign of Bank of Malaysia on the right side of the airport, Take the direction of Hulhumale, the first stop is very long, get off at the station, Turn right at the 50-meter T-junction, Walk another 150 to 200 meters and you're here. No elevator. The conditions are average and fairly clean. Transit hotel is cost-effective.

My stay was just a night. I arrived at the hotel at 19:00hrs. Booked by Agoda, the Hotel staff recognised me. After Quick check-in, they gave me the key. First no orientation. I didn't know where to go to find my room. It was 201. I asked the front desk which direction I have to go? After that, the hotel staff took me upstairs & shows my room. That's fine. There are no Towels, in the room. I call the front desk at 19:15 and informed that I need towels. He said he is delivering a towel after a few minutes. Next day morning 10:30 I went to the front desk because I don't receive towels. And I Request for Late checkout It cost $20. I got towels 13:25. At 14:20 I went out of the hotel & I came back to the hotel at 16:55. Same staff when I get check-in was on the front desk. He was surprised because he didn't know I request late check out. He asked me still you didn't check out? In a rude manner. This is the only staff I met in this hotel which is not friendly. Negative point: WIFI speed is not bad but the signal to room 201 was very poor. Sometimes no WIFI. Plus point: Room is clean I did not try Room service, laundry & TV.

We appreciate the booking was moved different i day due COVID, it was helpful. 🙏 Early checking was available, but needed to pay (it's a good option). Room was good,cleaning on for (your eyes) but when you touch the places dusty, not as aspect from hotel, on time (pandemic) like this, so I did clean by myself too. Restaurant was poor, food choices didn't have an option, breakfast only normal breakfast & no sausage. Order sandwich but not available for three days only I found they don’t have stock make the food & Price we paid food was not worth, my friend ask chili don’t have (it’s a basic ingredients ). Room was big, the lighting was ok, and the water speed in shower room was good. But when you ON don't disturb the sign I thought no will knock the door to clean the room, but it happens. But it’s ok, so I can get a fresh clean towel & Water. Landline was not working. I work in the hotel industry for long I aspecting service we get good also. We enjoy our privacy we both thanks.

Stayed for 2 nights in Mar'22 at this cosy hotel consisting of 15-16 rooms. Scores very well on location, cleanliness & amenities. e.g. Just 50 steps away from the lovely Hulhumale beach & also close to cafes, restaurants, public transport, malls etc. Recently renovated, so entire property is in very good condition. Amenities like 32” LCD TV, Mini-fridge, E-Kettle, Intercom, Wardrobe & luggage rack, balcony, comfy 8” mattress & clean linen, reasonably spacious room, elevator, a small swimming pool & Spa etc make it ideal for a 1-2 nights stay. Ease transfers to & from airport as well as Male. Cab charges 4$/60 MVR for Airport Trf & 5%/75 MVR for male City Trf. 1 Km walk to Jetty for Ferry Trf. Bus Stop just 2 min walk away. Check-in & Checkout experience was smooth. Hassan was prompt to address any queries during the stay. Scores poorly on Breakfast. They offer fixed Continental Breakfast comprising of 2 slices of Bread Toast, scrambled egg, Chicken Sausage, Jam & Butter, few cut fruits, juice & tea/coffee. Even our request for Tomato Ketchup couldn't be fulfilled. Anything extra is charged. Better book without breakfast as many good Cafes are located close by. They just have a basic kitchen for serving b'fast. Any food order is arranged from their other property located 100 m away. Also, the staff needs to be trained for managing the day to day functions of housekeeping, room-service etc. The newly appointed staffers, comprising of 2 Indians, Mahesh & Feroz, are pretty raw since they lack the hospitality experience & need to be trained for the basics of hospitality for enhanced interaction with guest's. Appreciate their politeness & willingness to help guest's in whichever small way possible. Overall, strongly recommended for a short stay while in Hulhumale for quick access to airport as well as the lovely beach & cafes.

Was given Executive suite on Top floor. It has balcony over looking the sea and beach. Shared apartment with others. Really spacious room but Room can be very hot through the night. AC is fully operational and ceiling fan. It can make room very cold. Provided transport to airport in early morning. Breakfast is ok. The beach is not really for us only if you are dresses up cover your body and wear short.

Take a taxi from the airport for more than 10 minutes, close to the beach, and you can see the sea directly from the balcony. The environment is very good. The service attitude is good. There is a boy named ”Subao” who is very good at talking, very smart and very humorous. The hotel in Male is expensive, there is no way to get this price. The so-called sea view also sees the sea through the window of the corridor. The room hygiene can barely accept it. The toilet and the basin are very new. The bath towel is definitely not dare. Use, the room provides three bottles of small mineral water. Breakfast can be served by the beach, milk cereal, two omelettes, sausages and orange juice and a fruit. There is a local free call to the airport to call the hotel, but it is not free. After arriving at the hotel, I have to pick up the $20 fare and add a 9 yuan cleaning fee. I don’t bother to speak English. They were awkward, and later listened to local Chinese who said they were at the airport. They were all talking about any hotel that cost $7 to Male. The service attitude of the hotel is quite good, they will help contact the island to inform the departure time. There are many small shops and supermarkets near the hotel. It is convenient to buy some snacks. It is better to change the local currency. Otherwise, it is not worthwhile to use the US$1.10 directly.

It was a great experience. We were picked up from the airport within 10 minutes of calling. Check in was great - greeted with some juice while we enjoyed the patio. The room was as promised - comfortable beds, nice little patio. We enjoyed the breakfast as well - we were able to sample some local food. My wife took a fall on the sidewalk and scrapped her knee. The staff was so nice. The rushed to get the medical kit and insisted on properly cleaning and dressing the scrape. I wish I could remember her name - she was so caring - you'll know here when you get there. She has amazing hazel/green eyes and kind smile. Thank you!

The hotel is strategically located and within walking distance to bus stations, Fahim Plaza, restaurants and the apartment we booked overlook the beautiful sea. Emerald green water that calm the nerves is a sight that is so welcoming from the balcony of the apartment we booked. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and well kept. The washing machine and kitchen made our stay even more pleasant and at ease. The manager, Unais, is super helpful and very prompt in accomodating to our requests and queries. He even sourced out the best island hopping guides for us. I highly recommend this hotel as it is elderly and kids friendly I will definitely come back to this hotel if I visit Maldives again. Wir hatten das Zimmer auf def obersten Etage und es war eher wie eine kleine Wohnung und sehr groß. Der Balkon war nicht einsehbar und hatte einen tollen Blick auf den Ozean. An einem Abend konnten wir sogar Delfine entdecken. Unsere Tochter hatte ein süßes kleines Bett, welches für Kinder bis ca. 10 Jahre super geeignet ist, wir hatten ein großes King-Size Bett. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte gut. Das Badezimmer war ausreichend groß und hatte auch etwas Ablagefläche. Der Hoteleigentümer Nasir war sehr zuvorkommend und bemüht unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen, sodass wir am nächsten Morgen auch Kaffee auf dem Zimmer hatten. Für ein paar Tage mehr als okay! We had the room on the top floor and it was more like a small apartment and very large. The balcony was not visible and had a great view of the ocean. One evening we could even spot dolphins. Our daughter had a cute little bed which is great for kids up to about 10 years old, we had a big king size bed. The air conditioning worked well. The bathroom was large enough and also had some storage space. The hotel owner Nasir was very accommodating and eager to fulfill our wishes, so we also had coffee in the room the next morning. For a few days more than okay!

I found this hotel at booking, sadly not so many reviews, but i decided to give it a chance. I really liked it, it was clean, very close to the ferry port (to and from the airport) so I arrived this way from the airport. Rooms are pretty and renewed. Bed was comfortable. Nice air conditioner and fan, both working and helped me to feel fresh. I had a dinner which was really tasty, my congratulations to the person who cooked it. Also overall all the staff were really friendly and polite. I had my departure early at the morning, so they packed my breakfast in a box. Liked: - Staff: Very friendly and polite. Always answered my emails and at the hotel they made my stay very nice. Thanks for this. - Location (5 minutes by walking to ferry) - Food, very tasty dinner (though I ordered a spicy food that I like, but if you don't be careful about what you order) - Room was clean and fresh. I really liked this place and I completely recommend it.

The place is like the pictures, but the rooms and facilities are more worn down in real life. I stayed for a night and it was enough, couldn't imagine staying past 1 night. TV does not work, toilet has this damp smell. The reception and lobby are kind of messy, doesn’t seem like a proper reception, even makes me wonder if a guesthouse even exists here. For a slightly higher price you could find hotels way better than this, regret not looking and spending more. Thankfully the wifi works fine, and the staff is friendly.

My stay was just a night. I arrived at the hotel at 19:00hrs. Booked by Agoda, the Hotel staff recognised me. After Quick check-in, they gave me the key. First no orientation. I didn't know where to go to find my room. It was 201. I asked the front desk which direction I have to go? After that, the hotel staff took me upstairs & shows my room. That's fine. There are no Towels, in the room. I call the front desk at 19:15 and informed that I need towels. He said he is delivering a towel after a few minutes. Next day morning 10:30 I went to the front desk because I don't receive towels. And I Request for Late checkout It cost $20. I got towels 13:25. At 14:20 I went out of the hotel & I came back to the hotel at 16:55. Same staff when I get check-in was on the front desk. He was surprised because he didn't know I request late check out. He asked me still you didn't check out? In a rude manner. This is the only staff I met in this hotel which is not friendly. Negative point: WIFI speed is not bad but the signal to room 201 was very poor. Sometimes no WIFI. Plus point: Room is clean I did not try Room service, laundry & TV.

Was given Executive suite on Top floor. It has balcony over looking the sea and beach. Shared apartment with others. Really spacious room but Room can be very hot through the night. AC is fully operational and ceiling fan. It can make room very cold. Provided transport to airport in early morning. Breakfast is ok. The beach is not really for us only if you are dresses up cover your body and wear short.

We have two four-seat sacks for vacation. As a night of over-the-counter hotel, it is quite satisfactory, the price is low, the hotel is considered hygienic, breakfast is delivered, and the pick-up service is also available! But pick up the plane and you need to arrive at the airport and look for the lady holding the Newtown Inn brand, then confirm the name just fine. The next morning, a gas-sending seaplane requires a $20 service fee per room, which is reasonable. In addition, the hotel also provides a dollar replacement service, remember that the little brother helped check the baggage for a tip.

Breakfast is simple, bread, juice and eggs. Close to the sea. Wait for the bus under the sign of Bank of Malaysia on the right side of the airport, Take the direction of Hulhumale, the first stop is very long, get off at the station, Turn right at the 50-meter T-junction, Walk another 150 to 200 meters and you're here. No elevator. The conditions are average and fairly clean. Transit hotel is cost-effective.

Take a taxi from the airport for more than 10 minutes, close to the beach, and you can see the sea directly from the balcony. The environment is very good. The service attitude is good. There is a boy named ”Subao” who is very good at talking, very smart and very humorous. Hotel facilities in general, breakfast is relatively monotonous, the same every day, but the price is there, relatively speaking is still possible. The network is not very good. I have lived in several homes with this problem. It may be like this. For hardware requirements are not high, you can choose here.

Stayed for 2 nights in Mar'22 at this cosy hotel consisting of 15-16 rooms. Scores very well on location, cleanliness & amenities. e.g. Just 50 steps away from the lovely Hulhumale beach & also close to cafes, restaurants, public transport, malls etc. Recently renovated, so entire property is in very good condition. Amenities like 32” LCD TV, Mini-fridge, E-Kettle, Intercom, Wardrobe & luggage rack, balcony, comfy 8” mattress & clean linen, reasonably spacious room, elevator, a small swimming pool & Spa etc make it ideal for a 1-2 nights stay. Ease transfers to & from airport as well as Male. Cab charges 4$/60 MVR for Airport Trf & 5%/75 MVR for male City Trf. 1 Km walk to Jetty for Ferry Trf. Bus Stop just 2 min walk away. Check-in & Checkout experience was smooth. Hassan was prompt to address any queries during the stay. Scores poorly on Breakfast. They offer fixed Continental Breakfast comprising of 2 slices of Bread Toast, scrambled egg, Chicken Sausage, Jam & Butter, few cut fruits, juice & tea/coffee. Even our request for Tomato Ketchup couldn't be fulfilled. Anything extra is charged. Better book without breakfast as many good Cafes are located close by. They just have a basic kitchen for serving b'fast. Any food order is arranged from their other property located 100 m away. Also, the staff needs to be trained for managing the day to day functions of housekeeping, room-service etc. The newly appointed staffers, comprising of 2 Indians, Mahesh & Feroz, are pretty raw since they lack the hospitality experience & need to be trained for the basics of hospitality for enhanced interaction with guest's. Appreciate their politeness & willingness to help guest's in whichever small way possible. Overall, strongly recommended for a short stay while in Hulhumale for quick access to airport as well as the lovely beach & cafes.

We appreciate the booking was moved different i day due COVID, it was helpful. 🙏 Early checking was available, but needed to pay (it's a good option). Room was good,cleaning on for (your eyes) but when you touch the places dusty, not as aspect from hotel, on time (pandemic) like this, so I did clean by myself too. Restaurant was poor, food choices didn't have an option, breakfast only normal breakfast & no sausage. Order sandwich but not available for three days only I found they don’t have stock make the food & Price we paid food was not worth, my friend ask chili don’t have (it’s a basic ingredients ). Room was big, the lighting was ok, and the water speed in shower room was good. But when you ON don't disturb the sign I thought no will knock the door to clean the room, but it happens. But it’s ok, so I can get a fresh clean towel & Water. Landline was not working. I work in the hotel industry for long I aspecting service we get good also. We enjoy our privacy we both thanks.

The room is perfectly cleaned, Staffs were super nice, super friendly and super helpful (love them). The price is affordable not over pricey unlike other hotel in Male. I will make sure that if i come to Hulu Male , definitely will stay at this hotel again.

This is my 2nd stay at Tourist Inn... Oh, as a matter of fact, my 3rd stay because I decided to extend another day because of return flight was very late night and it was pass the check out time. Nevertheless, I truly enjoyed the hospitality of the staff - both Nawaz (the owner) and the workers. Once again, a true gesture of hospitality and going above and beyond when Nawaz picked me up from the jetty from my trip to Maafushi and took me to the jetty again to catch the airport ferry during my departure. He graciously offered me his bus pass for by day of exploration of the nearby Hulhumale - which made be practically experience various modes of transport in Male City - motorbikes (riding in tandem with him), cab, public bus (which was a very decent and on time), and the airport ferry. It was truly a cultural experience in Male, which I fancy, Additionally, just like my first stay at Tourist Inn, the room (4th level) was immaculately clean. Other details worth mentioning are: -warm shower -generous unlimited free wi-fi and was considerably fast (by my standard) -shared kitchen spotlessly clean with basic cutlery -coffee and tea in the room with an option to use Keurig -welcome fruits during my second stay which I love since I am vegetarian -good channel selections particularly local channels which I love for cultural experience -with a lift considering the facility is small but cute. I purposely avoided the lift for exercise. -great place to experience the local culture since the hotel is in the local area and very accessible to all shops, groceries, restaurants, bus stations, jetties. I love walking and the location has made me work out and enjoy the Maldivian culture as I walk around Male. -prompt in responding to questions and needs .... WhatsApp is truly a great tool!!! So many things to say about Tourist Inn... don't hesitate just book it in your stay in Male for great cultural experience. The hotel is well secured. Maldives is safe nation.

Hygiene: The most important thing for hotels in this price range in Madai is cleanliness. This one is very good. The room itself is relatively small, but very clean. The bathroom is particularly clean and there is no odor. This alone is worth the price of admission. Service: For a hotel, the second most important thing is the convenience of transfer. Inform your next destination when you check in, and the hotel will take the initiative to contact you for pick-up and drop-off. And the hotel itself is on the artificial main stage, very close. You need to return to the airport island from here to transfer water and speedboat, and you will be there in 10 minutes. Taking the initiative to carry luggage and so on is considered a standard feature of Maldives. What was beyond expectation was that the breakfast area was small but had an unparalleled view. Living on the 8th floor, having breakfast on the 9th floor, all with direct sea views. The flocks of pigeons downstairs are definitely an unforgettable memory. A hotel worth passing by again.

This hotel was air conditioned, The room is average no television but clean and reasonably priced. It included breakfast but breakfast is extremely limited and not buffet. The bed and pillows are not very comfortable. The staff were very pleasant. Recommendation: If you are looking for temporary stay, you may choose this hotel. If you are in Male to relax in a serene place, better think about other options. The first impression - the washroom was not very clean- and for anyone who travels, or at least for me personally, that is very important!
