No TV which is stated on the booking information but I wasn't there to watch TV! Strong enough Wi-Fi signal to stream TV if you want to. Nice and quiet at night. Perfect for a weekend. Would happily stay again.

|2.65km from city centerFirstly, I don't like to speak bad of anywhere without reason, however this place as so much potential but needs someone in there to manage it and bring the best out of it. It's a 30 min walk to the castle, with bus stops right outside. The room was spacious with a comfy bed and a reasonably newly refurbished bathroom and free parking which was my reason for booking in the first place( because not many places have free parking) I decided to have breakfast included and this is where it all falls dreadfully by the wayside. When we got to the breakfast room, there were cereals on show, but no milk. The bloke who we had just passed in the corridor emptying the rooms and cleaning them came in to offer us a menu, he disappeared because he was also on reception but on returning took our order(although we asked for milk, none arrived, so we gave up on cereal ) no fresh fruit available either or juice( we did eventually get juice towards the end) We had the full Scottish breakfast( sure the same guy had to go and cook it, because he was gone for an age) when it came, it wouldn't have been fit for a child. The produce was really poor and terribly cooked, we were given white toast ( never asked for any alternative) and the cutlery was all tarnished and black. This hotel is not a 4 star hotel as advertised. Second morning it again was just the same guy running around doing everything( not his fault, he did his best) To summarise, I would use this place for ROOM ONLY, but steer well clear of the breakfast, not value for money. Hope that the potential gets recognised and someone gives this place a bit of TLC, could be great.

The room was around £310 for 3 nights, which was much cheaper than other hotels based on it's proximity to the city center. The hotel is located about 1 mile from the Royal Mile and there's plenty of busses that stop right outside the hotel heading into Town. The hotel itself was ok. We were given a room on the first floor near the back, which was pretty spacious and comfortable, but it was quite tired looking with a few little issues (only mirror was in the bathroom, there was a stain on one of the chairs, the toilet roll holder was loose, shower didn't get very hot) The room was clean, and a maid did knock everyday to see if we wanted cleaning or extra towels etc. Check in/out was all self service. I was given instructions on how to check in the day before I arrived and this was easy to follow. There are cupboards in the hallway with things like extra tea and coffee, towels, loo roll etc that you can help yourself to. There is an intercom on the entrance door if you need to contact staff (we didn't need to use this during out stay) The hotel advertises 'parking on site' however there is only about 3 spaces. There is free parking on the surrounding roads though. I found the hotel to be quite noisy. Could hear people talking and walking about in the rooms on our floor and above us. The hotel is located on a busy A road, so I think the it could be quite noisy if staying at the front of the house. There's also no breakfast on site, so we walked to a pub down the road that opened for breakfast. Overall the hotel was ok for a couple nights, but if I was in Edinburgh for a longer period of time, I would stay somewhere else.

|1.78km from city centerThe hotel location is very good, very close to Edinburgh Castle and Princes Street, it is a little far away from Royal Mile Street, but can be reached on foot, the town is very suitable for walking.
The hotel implements unmanned management, and you can open the door and the room door yourself according to the password you check in. We are a family of 5 staying with children and living suites. The rooms are large and clean and well-equipped. You can cook your own meals. Tableware and pots are fully equipped (but I do n’t see a microwave). We are accustomed to the British diet. The house even provides equipment such as vacuum cleaners and washing machines, which is in line with our home habits.
The price is slightly higher, but for the case of five of us, it is still a lot more cost-effective than booking two single rooms, especially it is really good to be able to cook by ourselves.
In particular, we need to remind everyone that the hotel will send you an email 7 days and 1 day before the check-in, which will contain the room number and password for the check-in. If you booked on Ctrip, because they may have booked through other channels, the reserved mailbox is not ours, we cannot receive the mail, we must contact Ctrip customer service one day in advance, get this information, and then Can stay. Because the apartment is unmanned, it will be inconvenient to communicate if there is a temporary problem.

I had let them know that my plane landed at 9 am and was informed that the room would be ready at 2 pm, but they would secure our luggage until check in time. Sounded perfect but upon arrival was confronted by a person who ask how we got in (the door was unlocked), so I explain who we were and that we had paid reservation. Once he checked it out (lack of communication) he took our luggage. We went to the Abbey had breakfast and some beers hung out and talked to locals. Then we walked around the corner sat a few minutes till they opened the door. We were given our room key and two door keys,instruction on checking out and how to get a hold of him. The room was simple but clean;our luggage was in the room;plenty of towels, toilet paper, shower gel, and shampoo.I love the idea of having the keys so we could come and go as we pleased. The building is pretty old, with very tall windows and a nice view of a green yard with black/white birds. My first impression was oh no...but I settled down and checked out things they had everything we needed. Free wi-fi (password on bathroom door) shower/toilet in room (which I requested) clean beds and TV with quite a few channels.If you wanted glam with your room go somewhere else and pay for it. Yet if you want just a room to sleep and freshen up, close to bus stops,bank, ATM and food/drink establishments then this is the place for you. My sister didn't care for her bed but all beds seem out of whack compared to your own. I slept fine in mine. Even tho the main street was an ambulance easy route to the hospital the room was very quiet and with drapes drawn very dark.

|1.19km from city centerSurprisingly good apartment. Stayed here for a long weekend with my daughter mid-January 2022. It’s about a 15 minute easy walk from the train station and very easy to find. Apartment itself is in a great location (think it was apartment 2), facing Princes Street. It is directly above a closed shop, with a McDonald’s to the left. So noise may be a problem - we live in Central London so didn’t really notice it at all. Bedrooms are at the back of the property so the noise isn’t an issue overnight. As somebody else pointed out, the main door area is a bit dirty as it’s on the Main Street. When we found the place on Street View that did put us off a bit, but don’t let it worry you - it’s minor. Property itself was modern and well maintained - dishwasher (no tablets /detergent though that we could find), washing machine, coffee machine etc. Decent state of repair too although with some bits that could do with tidying up. Bathrooms had underfloor heating too which was good - and also pretty good water pressure in both showers! Important if you like that! All in all we had a great stay, and would happily stay again.

The location is good, there is a supermarket when you go out, there is a tram at the airport, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the city center. The front desk is also friendly. The communal kitchen is also clean and hygienic. The toilet feels good but has a urine smell all the time. . .

With each bedroom being en suite we all had comfortable sleeping and living arrangements. The kitchen was well appointed and the reception desk even gave us shampoo and dishwasher soap tablets. As it was warm, they also made fans available at no cost to anyone who wanted one. We travel to Edinburgh every summer. We absolutely plan to return to Destiny Murano next July.

The location is ideal for moving around Edinburgh and enjoying the various sites etc. The room was in good order, however the cleaners had not checked the pull down bed which was disgusting however, this was quickly rectified and we got offered a free breakfast as compensation. Point to note, don't think the room you have booked has the ideal views as shown on the web-site as we were on the third floor looking on to an internal roof! Breakfast was ok, staff were attentive and although they got our order completely wrong it was again quickly rectified. Worth a stay, however can be pricey for what it is!

|1.5km from city centerMy recent hotel stay was a bit of a mixed experience. While the hotel was clean and well-equipped, there were several issues that detracted from my overall satisfaction.
Before arriving, I had communicated with the hotel via email and was told that they could be reached via WhatsApp. However, upon arrival, I was unable to get a response from the hotel on WhatsApp. Additionally, there was no reception area, and check-in had to be done over the phone, which required multiple long-distance phone calls and extra fees.
The day before check-in, I received a last-minute email from the hotel requesting a deposit, but they did not provide any information on how to make the payment. Not all of the staff were willing to provide assistance, but the last person I spoke to was patient and helpful, which allowed me to check in smoothly.
One major safety concern was that there was a step outside the bathroom, but the floor was not marked, making it easy to trip and fall. Another hazard was the transparent coffee table in the living room, which caused several stumbling incidents that could have led to injuries.
Overall, while the hotel was clean and well-maintained, the issues with communication, extra fees, and safety hazards detracted from my experience.

Our room was a very large one, very comfortable, a large and comfortable bed and a large and very concenient bathroom. All the comfort you can dream off in a B&B ! It's a bit far from Edimburgh, you have to take the bus to go to the city (for dinner) but the bus stop is very close to the house, easy to find and the buses come regularly. I was able to communicate with the staff through email and there was no inconvenience in staying friendly. (However, because the lift only went up to the third floor, I was able to move my luggage with the help of the staff. But it's understandable enough that there are limits to the lift because most of the buildings in Europe are very old There is a lift running to the third floor and the ventilator? Boiler? It is a hostel that is really unfortunate except for the loud sound of the operation. Highly recommended if you are looking for an apartment type accommodation.

Really nice stay, very well located for all the attractions Edinburgh has to offer. The apartment was spacious and clean with very comfy beds. The only small negative was the lack of parking which to be fair we knew about before arriving, we used the NCP just around the corner which was slightly discounted through the site we booked on. having said that because we arrived for a weekend break we could quite easily have parked straight outside the apartment without any restrictions , maybe a bit difficult during the week as its down a small mews. Overall though an ideal place to stay and would definitely recommend

Didn’t see one staff member until we were checking out on the last morning and when we phoned through that morning to find out where to access breakfast, we were told they don’t offer breakfast, despite the booking stating otherwise. As other reviews have mentioned, your room key is used to gain access to the building and room, therefore everyone has access to every room which left us feeling uncomfortable from the get go (considering there were no staff about to keep an eye either.) Nothing but a basic double room for £300..felt ripped off.

The rooms are 5 star plus with modern bathrooms. Great beds therfore great sleep 😴 Breakfast again is a joy a multitude of choices. You cannot get much better for getting into Edinburgh centre a Miles walk or a short bus journey all the buses pass the attractions. Will definitely come again. Far better than theses faceless hotels.

Stunning location under the majestic Arthur's Seat, so I had to have a go. Reception staff are very courteous, helpful and welcoming. Part of Edinburgh University student accommodation which they let out as bed and breakfast accommodation in the summer break. Buffet breakfast in conference centre on site, all you can eat self-serve, gets very busy unless you are an early bird - restaurant is open from 7am... Great value for 3 star accommodation. Clean and spacious bedsits, I paid a little more for en suite.

|0.31km from city center先説缺點吧，房子有些年頭了感覺。裝修這些有點老舊。卧室衹有兩間，每間有一個大床和一個小床。沒有前台不能寄存行李。門口的那條north bridge路和橋都在施工，沒法直接靠邊停車。
但是和下面的幾條優點比起來，這些缺點都不叫事兒。
首先是位置，這家酒店的位置非常非常的好，North bridge和高街交界處，窗户對面就是愛丁堡著名的鐘樓。下樓就是高街，一路往上走十來分鐘就到愛丁堡城。往下走五分鐘就是火車站。
然後就是面積，感覺這是我至今為止住過的客廳面積最大的一間房，整個客廳目測得有60多平。三個飄窗分別對應鐘樓高街和north bridge街。還帶一個很寬大的廚房，餐具調料都很齊備，我們自己還弄了一頓飯。性價比真的非常的高。

Small amount of coffee and milk sachets, luxury shower gels, washing up liquid, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and even offer access to netflix. We had a first floor apartment, and although we did hear the traffic in the morning, it is right in the middle of Edinburgh in an ideal location for shops, restaurants, bars, and theatre.The flat was very clean and spacious and we took advantage of the secure left luggage box in the hallway as we arrived early. We had intended taking the train to avoid any parking problems but due to the rail strike we had to change our plans at the last minute. When we contacted Destiny for help they were super efficient and we were lucky as they offered us one of their vacant parking spaces at the rear of the property for £15. All code entry systems worked very well and we were extremely impressed with the service. We would thoroughly recommend these apartments.

|2.38km from city centerMy husband and I have just enjoyed a 2 night stay at The Sandaig. The welcome we received from Luke was without a doubt the most hospitable we have ever received. He showed us to our beautiful room, which overlooked the park, he then brought us a tray of coffee along with croissants and shortbread. He provided umbrellas, as we’d left ours at home, and advised us regarding buses, etc. Our bedroom and bathroom were both spotlessly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Such a shame breakfast wasn’t available because I’m sure Luke would have made that a memorable experience also ! We didn’t see Luke again but a lovely lady checked us out and gave us chocolate croissants for the journey home. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

|1.46km from city centerOur apartment, No 7 in the Malt House, left us somewhat disappointed. The photos illustrating the apartment made it look bright, which was not the case. What you do not see is the heavy net curtain on the french doors to stop neighbouring apartments looking in nor the need to keep the blinds down on the other windows as they are directly facing the windows just across a very narrow street. This makes the apartment very dark unless you want to be looked at by the people in the kitchen opposite. To compensate you need all the lights on and these are significantly underpowered. We booked the apartment having found it on ***********, which clearly shows that the bed is an extra large king sized bed, (normally 180 or even 200cm x 200cm), in fact the bed is a UK king size bed (160cm x 200cm). This is an important consideration for us when making a booking. Most importantly, and despite all the commentary in the apartment manual, the apartment was not very clean. We found the bedside tables to be covered in dust, stains on the floor, indicating that it hadn't been recently mopped and mould on the grouting in the shower. Both the sink and shower had slow drainage, hairs in the shower plug hole being a contributing factor. There were also issues with the safety of two of the plug sockets. We did report much of the above to the customer services at the end of our stay so that they could rectify it for the next clients, we appreciate that had we told them at the beginning of our stay they could have rectified some of the issues but we did not want the inconvenience of being disturbed during our short stay. There were positives, the apartment is well equipped, the shower is powerful (unlike in many of the places we stayed in on our tour of Scotland), Wi-fi worked well. The apartment is really well placed in the west end, minutes from the centre and transport hubs. Plenty of local restaurants.
