Our first time staying downtown Palm Springs and we loved it! The hotel was gorgeous (just like the photos!) Walking distance to the main ***** with lots of restaurant & shopping options, a weekly Thursday night street festival/market and even a Grocery outlet across the street where we were able to stock up on some low cost snacks/drinks. When checking in the staff saw we were staying for 6 nights so ensured we had a quiet room, away from the street - which was thoughtful and appreciated. The breakfast buffet was AMAZING. The pool and pool bar with Happy Hour has us feeling like we were in Mexico. As you can probably tell, my fiancé and I loved our stay and will most definitely be back again!From€128

It was clearly written on the bill that I booked 2 rooms for one person, but I had to make one room when I checked in. Overall, it was a great experience. We got 3 rooms for our family of 6 w/ 2 kids on the 20th floor. This hotel is next to the river so the view is stunning. Overlooked the great Yangtze River. Night view was mesmerizing. All the skyscrapers lit up in sync around the city along side the river. Jaw dropping. We went in mid June and the river was flooding due to heavy rain. There's a big walk way next to the river where lots of people went to hang out even when it's flooding. Real cool. There's also a famous street similar to Beijing Road in Guangzhou a few blocks down. Forgot the name. There's an upscale modern mall called MixC 15 min taxi DD. We're from California and this mall is comparable to our socal South Coast. During summer flooding season, it may be an issue traveling to the other side of the bridge, so just keep that in mind. I gave it a 4 star for cleaniness because I expected our room to be a bit better. One of the rooms we stayed had this old, a bit smoky smell. I'm assuming someone smoked in it given majority of the population in china seems to be smoking like a chimney. The Pearl gave us great modern comfort to an alienated(to us) city.From€48

This was my first time staying at the Marco Polo Hotel. The location is superb, right next to the Hankou Riverfront.
We had initially booked a city view room for two nights, but the view wasn't ideal. A staff member then showed us a river view room, and we upgraded to a partial river view room, which had a fantastic view.
The room was well-appointed and very quiet. The toiletries were excellent, and the first mini-bar was complimentary, offering a good selection of beverages.
Upon check-out, we left our luggage with the concierge. The staff were very attentive and even gave us a small gift, which was a thoughtful touch. Thank you!
Executive Lounge Experience: The service at the executive lounge was excellent, and the staff were incredibly helpful. Enjoying the river view and light show from the lounge was a wonderful experience. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, the glassware designs were nice, and there was a good selection of drinks.
The only issue I encountered was with the executive lounge breakfast service. Unlike other hotel executive lounges where staff proactively take orders from a menu, here I consistently had to ask for the menu myself. Furthermore, the dishes often didn't match their descriptions. For instance, the teriyaki salmon was listed with hash browns but was served without them. The waffles also had inconsistencies, sometimes missing fresh banana slices or syrup. The portion sizes were also inconsistent; one time we received four pieces, and the next time only two. I hope these aspects can be improved.
Another minor inconvenience was with taxis. On several occasions, drivers stopped by the roadside and couldn't reach the hotel lobby, citing the navigation system's endpoint. Unless explicitly instructed to drive further, it was a hit-or-miss whether they would go all the way to the hotel entrance, which was quite inconvenient.
Overall, the experience was quite pleasant, and I would definitely consider staying here again!From€61

On our first day, we arrived at the hotel just as a wedding procession was taking place. Our taxi driver dropped us off early, so we had to carry our luggage ourselves and check in at the front desk. It certainly didn't feel like a five-star hotel's concierge service. Luckily, we encountered a concierge when we were leaving, otherwise, this stay would have been a huge disappointment.
The twin room we got didn't have the small table and chairs by the window as shown in the promotional pictures. With two of us staying, only one person had a chair, leaving the other to either sit on the bed or stand. The bathroom faucet was an old-fashioned rotating type, and adjusting the hot and cold water in the shower was incredibly inconvenient – anyone who's used it would know. It feels like the hotel's facilities could really use an upgrade.
Upon checking in, there were only two bottles of water in the room, and on one of the days, the tea bags weren't restocked. Was this an oversight by the staff or intentional? The welcome amenity was mooncakes, but I honestly would have preferred welcome fruit.From€57

I stayed many times at this hotel as I frequently travel to Wuhan and it saddens me to say this hotel service is only worsen every time I stay there.
It is the ONLY 5 stars hotel in China where no one assist you with your luggage when you arrive or go.
No one greet you, you receive nothing from the management, no fruits at your room, really nothing is welcoming you to stay there even tough I always take the largest room.
Breakfast (especially the famous Wuhan hot noodles) was not good in the first two days, don't know what happened that it changed after. no consistency no service really nothing special in the room.

What can I say? What an amazing stay again. I’ve stayed for work events in which we used the ballroom for our work celebration. I then came here for peace when my father passed away. This was the one place I knew I could come that brought me peace and happiness. This trip was for my anniversary and it was beyond amazing. We decided to to go with a suite and the reservation came with a free photo shoot. Our photographer, Xiao Liu, was kind and the photo shoot was an amazing experience. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the dinner buffet has live entertainment and amazing chefs as well. We also wanted to get massages too but ran out of time. We will get them next time. Also very near to Wuhan Metro station, Minutes away from major tourist attraction. Hotel is right up to 5 star level when it comes to cleanliness and facilities but the same can't be said about their service. Chinese people are pretty reserved when faced with foreigners, sometimes cold downright. You won't get the enthusiasm of wanting to please you. It gets better if you speak chinese but if you don't then make sure you have a data plan that allows for Google Translate. Talking about data plan, be prepared to get a provider that has high data caps, or even unlimited. Wifi in this hotel is not foreign device friendly.

They do have a small cantina type room where you can buy snacks, some sandwiches, drinks, coffee, etc and ice machines everywhere. The service was very good, all employees where helpful and friendly. My room was very clean and good sized with a large bathroom. The room location was also good, on the ground floor near the pool with a view of a parklike courtyard. The pool was large and crowded (I arrived on Saturday afternoon) and everyone seemed to be having a good time. I took a dip the next morning right after maintenance finished cleaning the pool and was the only one there, it was great! I will definitely stay again at the Palm Mountain Resort.

I wanted to book a massage at the spa, and was told by the spa, they are not part of the hotel and require 48 hrs notice, as therapists are on call. So 1/2 the reason I stayed there was for that, which is not advertised that way. at about 3:45 am I was awaken by someone trying to get in my room. Figuring it was a mistake, I yelled out wrong room. about 30 sec later, they tried again with more vigor. I called the front desk, and colin said he'd go check it out. he called me a few min later said he saw no one. while on the phone with him a stronger attempt was made by ”no-one”. I let out a scream, and told him he needed to help me. I said I was packing my stuff up and wanted an escort out of my room. he came up about 5-10 min later and I went to there lobby, about 5:00 am. Where I waited until about 8:30 am until it was light out and could go somewhere. Safety there is an issue. staff does not know how to handle such an event. Police should have been called after 2nd attempt. ”this has never happened before” is not the proper response. My trip was ruined, and a good hotel went bad in a hurry.
