Hotel reception was very welcoming for a midnight (ish) arrival. Apartments are substantial in size with good facilities. The problem is that they allow smoking, even on non-smoking floors, so cigarette smells permeate the apartments and no amount of 'refreshing' spray can eliminate the odour. We had a problem on our last morning where the entire water supply for the apartment cut out mid-shower and wasn't restored for over an hour. The staff organised a free cake for us to celebrate a birthday while staying at the hotel. The promised chocolate hour timings were mis-communicated to us, which was disappointing for our children. Breakfast was a pretty good range with a few multi-cultural options. The on-demand omelette service always had a long line and the restaurant area didn't have enough tables during peak times to accommodate us. Valet parking was available for hotel guests but because the apartments are in a building 100 or so metres away, it was not practical to use for our stay. Overall a pleasant stay but still quite a few service issues for the hotel to improve.

I had an amazing one night stay at the QE2 - as a Brit now living in Austrália the QE2 has a special place in my heart - never as a Cunard ship could I have afforded travelling to New York - now I could and the ship is sparkling - the renovation is fantastic throwing you back to the heyday of her life - the service was fantastic the food and drink authentic and worth the stay! My wife says I better come back with her

All the staff at SLS Business Bay were so accommodating and attentive. The property is so clean and modern; very picturesque. We enjoyed Privilege pool, S Bar and Fi’lia. Thank you to GM Flavin for making sure our balcony view from the room was city view perfect. The bed is extra comfortable and the big bathtub is a special addition and was definitely utilized. Thank you to Adam who was so helpful during check in. Adam’s smile was so inviting. He’s just the man for the job at front desk check in. Keep him around. Special Thank you to Laura who was communicating with me for 2 months on room decoration for a special birthday surprise. So many other staff members that were exceptional. Thanks to Emmanuel for always keeping the guests safe and greeting us every morning and evening. We had an amazing time and will definitely recommend to our friends.

We Stayed for 5 nights at th Fairmont Dubai and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From check in to check out with the lovely girl her name's, (Ms .Gharam)she was polite and extremely helpful. My husband and I stayed in a nice view room which had plenty of space for the two of us. The room was very clean and comfortable. We wanted a few days of rest and we enjoyed our time by the pool during the day. The staff at the poolside bar and restaurant were lovely and looked after us all day. A big thank you for all the staff and special thanks to Ms Gharam at front desk for her excellent service. Our favourite restaurant in the evening was greac, sushi. Food was really tasty and Also thank you to the man who was in charge of Shisha. The grape and mint was an amazing combination. We will definitely return to the Fairmont Dubai

Great value economic hotel, very spacious, busy elevators like any vertical lodging. Also had an issue with the fire alarm staff should be trained to be more polite. The iron triggered the alarm, the staff showed up looking for penalty tribue, they were so fixated on the idea that I was smoking despite being a non-smoker, it was very dismissive and outright rude, I actually had a hard time thumbing them put of my suite! Still the place is good, as long as the staff learn that extracting penalty fees from guests shouldn't become the priority, once they are educated, they were not be desperate to invade rooms and pretend to be professional investigators They front desk did apologize for the poor training and promised it will never ever happen again. So based on that I must leave a 5/5 review as the hotel was nice when that incident is isolated.

The Obelisk, Dubai Club upgrade is a must! The 360 degree views from floor 51 are unforgettable. I enjoyed many a cup of tea on Floor51 viewing amazing sunsets, the night sky and watching the coloured lights on the Burj Khalifa. During a very hot period due to a sudden change in the weather it was a treat to be able ‘pop’ to floor 51 and enjoy tea/coffee, afternoon tea and drinks in the evening whilst enjoying the stunning views. An excellent breakfast with a wide variety of items to meet all dietary needs. The room was lovely with stunning views. The swimming pool allowed a good swim and was particularly pretty in the evening. Fascinating watching the window cleaners! Not a job I would want. I am full of admiration. We did receive an upgrade as we waited 90 minutes to check in for club class. Staff need to be more relaxed. Just feel they are on edge. Your plate disappears nearly before you have finished eating. This in turn put me on edge. A more welcoming atmosphere needs to be adopted but still remaining standards. A special thank you goes to 'Satish' (do hope I have the correct name). He provided me with excellent service. i do say a very big 'thank you' to him. Satish you left me with some very interesting thoughts! To which I say thank you.

Sure, you can spend 4 times more and stay in classier places, but why would you?This really is a hidden gem. We have not stayed in an Apart Hotel before, but basically, you get the apartment space (300sqm) with the all the facilities and rooms serviced daily. There isn't a restaurant at the facility, but there are dozens of places within a few hundred yards. There really is nothing negative to say about this place, so here are my main points; - The staff are happy and absolutely excellent... 5* service and everyone is so helpful - The gym is an actual proper gym and not one of these 'fitness rooms' that so many hotels disappoint you with.. absolutely fantastic - The pool is smallish but fine - The room was phenomenal. There was just two of us bur we had 3 bedrooms, marina view and 300sqm.... yes 300sqm with a huge lounge, balcony and great kitchen - The apartment had everything you need with washing machine, full kitchen and utensils, plates, glasses and a huge fridge / freezer, Iron etc.. You don't need to bring anything - The location is perfect, right on the front line of the marina and within 100yards there are shops, restaurants, Starbucks, Alcohol Shop.... everything! So many choices and JBR Walk is so close We have stayed for 3 weeks and it felt like home so hopefully, you get the impression that we loved this place and will 100% return. The only thing, like many properties, is that it was much cheaper to book via Expedia than direct with the property... I never understand this, but anyway, Well Done Marina Hotel Apartments, a fantastic find in Dubai and see you again.

The hotel is conveniently located, on one side of the shopping center in a 7-minute walk, there are many grocery stores nearby, a walking area. Lots of playgrounds nearby within walking distance. The best is opposite the shopping center across the bridge. There are warm pools. We got a room with 2 bedrooms and 3 balconies. There is a microwave and a washing machine, there is no dishwasher, but the staff washes if you leave it in the sink.
