The hotel staff are friendly, but not helpful. The washing machine was not working after I paid and put in the clothes and detergent, then I called the front, then they told me the washing machine is not working. I asked them why didn’t they put out a notice, the front desk said he just found out when I call. At the beginning he asked me to wait till the next morning, then they can call the washing machine company to try to give me a refund. Anyways, they are not sure about if I get refund or not!!! At the end, going back and forth, the front desk agree to refund me in cash and give some detergent to go to another floor for the laundry.
I arrive Seattle late around 11pm in the evening with the car. I paid for the daily fee for parking. As I will be leaving Seattle only few hours after checking out, they told me I could not leave the car in the garage until late afternoon because they need the space. I said I paid for a ‘daily fee’, so in principle I should be able to park the car till late afternoon, but they told me not, it is my choice to check in late and they cannot do anything to extend my parking till late afternoon.
I asked them if that is the regulation, they should put that down clearly in the description and inform the guests in advance, particularly those international guests who might have another interpretation about the ‘daily fee’.
At the end, they allow me to park until 2 pm which is too early for me and I need to change my plan at Seattle completely due to the parking issue.
In conclusion, the general attitude is they are sorry if the guest has any problem, but they can’t help much!!!!!FromRUB 6,752

This hotel is centrally located yet feels very safe at night. The room was comfortable, and the views from the high-floor window were absolutely stunning. The surrounding area is very well-equipped; it's a 10-minute walk to Whole Foods, and the shopping center across the street has Haidilao and Din Tai Fung. The hotel's buffet breakfast is $29 per person, and it's a decent-to-good American breakfast with quality ingredients. Although it is an old hotel, the rooms and bathrooms are not small, and the view from the room is also nice (2336), especially at night. Went as a solo traveler. The room was very clean & hipster chic. The food at the attached Ben Paris restaurant was great! Everyone who worked there was incredibly nice & very helpful. Walking distance to so many great Seattle attractions: ferries, the Seattle Art Museum, Pikes Market, Under the Streets tour as well The Can Can Can Culinary Cabaret. The only drawback is the parking - like most older big city hotels there is no attached parking structure. The paid parking structure ($10-$32/day) is about 1 city block down from the hotel and is a bit sketchy if you are coming/ going at really late/early hours.

There is a paid breakfast downstairs, the cost is linked to the room rate, you can order your own food, the waiting time is a bit long, but the taste is good.

The location and environment of the hotel are beyond words, very good. It is very close to the classic Pike Market, Space Needle, the first Starbucks, and Amazon headquarters. It is very suitable for city tourism, but the hotel has a long history and the related facilities are not so modern. The bathroom is small, and the room is large, but the historical decoration feels a bit old-fashioned, which is not suitable for people who are used to living in modern hotels. It is recommended not to eat breakfast in the hotel. It is very close and convenient outside, and the taste is good. I recommend the nearby Peruvian restaurant. For other food, I recommend the seafood in Pike Market and the crab at No. 57. It is served on the table, very rough and fresh. The Chinese restaurant Danguixuan Sichuan cuisine is very authentic. There is a shopping mall near the hotel and Haidilao. Eating there once can satisfy your craving. There are other places to go in Seattle, such as Mount Rainier, which is recommended. Remember to make an appointment, or go there after 5 pm. North Cascade Park is good. I don’t want to go to Olympic Park because I have been to too many forest parks. Visit the Microsoft headquarters. You can take a look at Bellevue. The game company Valve over there is a temple for game fans and a worry for parents. Boeing has seen too many planes, which are everywhere like toys. This was one of the best Hotel experiences my wife and I have ever had. It began with an amazing Valet named Earnest. He was the most congenial and friendly valet I have ever met.
He was unable to park our 1 ton truck in the underground parking. I had a bunch of tools in the back for a IT installation job I was in town to complete. Earnest felt genuinely concerned for the wellbeing of our vehicle and my tools. He went out of his way to help me empty the vehicle, and checked all of the items (which was a lot) in the baggage area of the hotel.
He then helped to find street parking which was in a safe area, and actually saved us $60 in parking fees.
After all of this Earnest then made an amazing dinner suggestion and even provided us with coupons which saved us a great deal on our dinner.
As I returned to the hotel each day during my stay Earnest greeted me by name, without reminder. That is a feat in my book as I often can't remember coworkers names whom I interact with daily, for years.
My wife and child accompanied me on this business trip. They eventually became visibly stir crazy. The Desk clerk noticed and provided all sorts of coloring books, crafts, games etc for my 4 year old. This without us asking. I did not get her name unfortunately.
After our trip we thought we had left some items behind. We called the hotel frantic because the items were irreplicable. The staff (each and every one we spoke to, one of whom named Cindy) were genuinely concerned and eager to help us locate the items. Calling us back to update us with their search regularly, and even offering to ship the items to us immediately once found.
Beyond the absolutely impeccable staff the hotel itself is beautiful. If you love pre-war architecture and design it is an absolute gem. It is like a time capsule. Every room has a milk door, and the electrical is all retrofitted because the building clearly predates electricity.
AS bonus they have a café, salon, skin care facility, and speakeasy on site. The speakeasy was closed during our stay, but the café was wonderful. We did not try the other services.
I will likely stay here on each and every visit to Seattle. It's an absolutely perfect hotel!FromRUB 9,777

Breakfast is not included, but there is a place in the lobby selling coffee and bread, which is cheap and tastes very good, and Starbucks is across the street. The rooms are small and well-equipped. To drink hot water, you can ask the hotel to borrow a kettle. The heating is sufficient and not dry. There are plenty of shopping malls around, opposite the Taikoo Center (with Din Tai Fung, Thai food, Lululemon), sephora, northstrom, all within a 5-minute walk. Yesterday morning flight, Uber inexplicably canceled the itinerary. Fortunately, the front desk waiter provided the limo business car. I'm not sure why this hotel has such low ratings; I actually think it's a really great place. The guy at the front desk recommended many places to eat, have fun and visit.
The only thing you need to pay attention to is that you remember to confirm the room type when checking in for a room booked by Ctrip. I booked Queen Deluxe on Ctrip and was given King (the front desk said that their system showed Queen but they upgraded me to King on the day of check-in). The best and most lowkey location if you wanna visit 90% of Seattle! Friendly and efficient check-in. Real cool lobby. I wish I had used it a little more. Didn't eat or drink there since I was meeting up friends for dinner around town. Several cafés in the area are worth treating yourself to.
Checkout was the easiest process I've ever had. Rooms look a bit cyberpunk/capsule hotel adjacent, but you sleep well and have pretty much everything you need [unless you need a desk for work or something].
Some things to note:
Lights are a bit tricky to dim since they cycle brightness. It would have been great to leave one light on and dim the rest with the power saving feature [also just to keep up the night curtain and lower the day curtain, so I'm not walking in a pitch black room after dinner].
Why not 5 stars all around?
The shower door didn't/couldn't shut all the way, so I used the towels to mop up the wet bathroom floor. Asked at kiosk for extra towels... they never came. At least the floor dried up before I left. Maybe if I made my request using the iPad, it would have happened. This obstacle made my stay not as good as it could have been, but I made do [there are add'l restrooms on the basement level, fortunately].FromRUB 6,752

Overall, I'd highly recommend this place. It offers excellent value for money in every aspect. This was our first stop on our US trip, and we stayed for 3 nights. The room was quite spacious.
1. The location is great; it's just a 15-minute walk to Pike Place Market. An Uber to the airport costs between $60-70 and typically takes about 30 minutes without traffic. However, on the morning we left, we ran into road construction near Seattle Airport, which caused a 30-minute delay after exiting the freeway. So, definitely plan your travel time accordingly.
2. Housekeeping services are provided every other day. Free bottled water is available for self-pickup downstairs.FromRUB 8,292

Got a great last minute deal at this beautiful hotel. The staff was very nice and we enjoyed sipping wine overlooking the water on a comfy couch by the lobby. Our room was small with a city view but clean and cozy. Only criticism is that we put out our order for breakfast the night before and it never came so we had to call room service twice and ended up giving them a phone order because no one ever came to the door to get the order slip. Overall wonderful place to stay and you can walk to everything. FromRUB 11,685

The hotel's front desk service is very good, the room is clean, and free bath salts are delivered to the room. When checking in, the front desk will give 2 bottles of water and a welcome drink. Guests will be provided with a free glass of red wine from 5 to 7 o'clock, and free delivery to nearby attractions. The location of the hotel is very convenient, there are bus stops and supermarkets within 100 meters.
The room we stayed in this time also happened to have a little view of the Needle. Recommended for those traveling to Seattle to consider staying here.FromRUB 19,542

The hotel is very clean and tidy, and the staff is extremely friendly. I requested hot water, and they even brought it to my room in a teapot, and it was delivered very quickly. On the day we arrived in Seattle, they allowed us to check in early, which was a great help. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Seattle. The location is also very convenient.FromRUB 9,085
