It was Ascension weekend. I came to visit a friend on privas with my 3 children. We spent 2 great nights at the Hotel La Chaumette. The whole team was very pleasant and accommodating. We had a nice room big enough for the 4 of us. The bathroom was small but very clean. The breakfast was perfect. We were able to have lunch on the terrace overlooking the swimming pool. The children were a little cold and immediately the staff gave us pleas. It was perfect. If I come back to privas see my friend. This is definitely where I would stay.

We normally stop at this hotel on the way to vacation. The reception is always friendly, but not always professional. For example, in the morning several of us waited more than 20 minutes after the supposed opening time. Another big problem, there is always a plethora of mosquitoes and bees towards the pool, we get stung every year, and it doesn't feel like anything is being done to protect guests. In the evening there is no "real" meal, but you can have hot snails, meat or cheese boards, it's friendly and good, but the person serving was alone to prepare the meals and serve !!!! On the other hand, the breakfast buffet was open before time: great! Well served, plentiful, varied, appetizing,... only compliments to give. The Privas market, which is held close by on Saturday mornings from 7am, is very interesting to visit and offers good local products. So a good hotel, but which deserves to be a little more organized and rigorous.

Au coeur d'une magnifique ville, nous avons adoré cet hôtel à la décoration raffinée qui invite au voyage. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil et la disponibilité de nos hôtes, la possibilité d'y dîner tout simplement... L'hôtel dispose d'un parking privé. Nous recommandons vivement... Et nous espérons pouvoir y revenir : les Monts d'Ardèche offrent des paysages grandioses!

Chauffage éteint lors de notre arrivée. Il faisait très froid dans la chambre ( chambre réservée à l’avance).Il ne manquait plus que le bidet dans la salle de bains pour avoir l’impression d être chez mamie. 9 euros le demi litre de bière… 30 euros pour une salade avec une tomate et 3 croûtons de chèvre, une cuisse poulet et du gratin et une part de tarte, nous avons eu l’impression d être des vaches à lait. A oublier…

Un séjour professionnel reposant. Certes j ai eu droit a une chambre double surclassée, société oblige, donc confortable, bureau, clim, placard, lit king size, vu sur la piscine, déco simple mais soignée. Par contre ne pas regarder les détails du ménage…. Mauvaise isolation, murs fissurés, toiles d araignées…. Proximité du centre ville, arrêt de bus devant. Parking devant Piscine , pelouse, petits salons de détente Grande terrasse oú l on peut se restaurer ( jus qu a 21h et oublier le plat du jour, le même 3 jours d affilés… par contre du bon fromage local, des desserts fameux et une cave excellente !!) Le petit déjeuner continental sous forme de buffet est très complet (15e…!) Une déco zen et soignée, un personnel accueillant et disponible et même une vitrine de produits locaux! Bref un séjour agréable.

Super hôtel avec des hôtes discrets,souriants,serviables... L'accueil est impeccable. La piscine est froide mais Sublime, la déco est de goût... Vraiment un hôtel qui gagne à être connu encore plus pour une halte vers le sud de la France.
