Maybe if we'd stayed in Cabin #10, we would have been happy. I don't know. Those photos look awesome. As for Cabin #1 -- the noise from the highway was constant and loud, all night long. And the shower was definitely weird. It was very small, enclosed in tile, and dark. No light at all. When you closed the shower curtains, you couldn't see. With the curtains open even just a bit, the floor got soaked. The cabin is rustic = fine. The furniture is old and mismatched = fine. We like cabins. They're supposed to be rustic and funky. But this one didn't quite make the grade for us. And the pool was the deal-breaker. I was counting on the pool for our weekend stay while my husband worked, but when we got there -- the pool was slimy, green, covered and closed. The owner said it was closed due to COVID, but that was not (and still is not) indicated on their website, nor was it required to be closed by Santa Cruz County. Very disappointing stay.
