Staying at Lujiazui Xiyue was a delightful surprise. The hotel boasts a new Chinese-style minimalist design, creating a wonderful ambiance. It's located right next to the riverside promenade, perfect for a leisurely stroll and enjoying the river views. The room was spacious and clean, with soft bedding that ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered expansive views, and the city lights at night were absolutely captivating. Hannah, a staff member, was gentle, efficient, and very responsive to requests. Overall, it's a quiet and comfortable place, highly recommended for anyone traveling to Shanghai.

The service was great! They upgraded me to a room with a bathtub during check-in, which was very spacious and had a unique style. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. Plus, there are a lot of great Japanese restaurants near Gubei. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai.

I was there from 1-6 Aug. Service is excellent! From service desk they are wonderful. Our chambermaid has been very attentive, she would clean our room when we are out within her schedule and she provides us the toiletries and water we need on a timely basis. She’s friendly, service oriented and helpful! Front desk is also very accommodative and service oriented. They are always looking out for us like storing our luggages and other requests in a timely manner. The security also looks out for our grab car and help us with luggages. Personally, I love the soft drinks concept teh hotel have, quietness and cleanliness. Thanks, Joya hotel! Hope to come again!

The hotel is conveniently located right by Zhouqiao Old Street, very easy to find. Across the road are Huilongtan Park and Jiading Confucius Temple, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Jiading Museum and Qiuxia Garden. We had breakfast and then spent the morning exploring the free attractions nearby – the location is truly excellent.

Upon check-in, we received a complimentary room upgrade. The room was new and spacious, and the bathroom was particularly roomy. It would have been perfect if there was a bathtub by the window! When we checked out, we were even given coffee as a farewell gift. A big thank you to the handsome Xiao Shao!

The hotel has a courtyard and a long corridor, which I believe are preserved from the original old building. There's also a citron tree in the courtyard with many fruits. In the morning, I saw a pile of what looked like fallen fruits in the restaurant.

I used to always book five-star hotels, but I rarely ever used facilities like the swimming pool or massage services. This time, I booked the Xiyue Hotel in Chengdu's Taikoo Li, and the experience was simply incredible. It's right next to Taikoo Li, and Chunxi Road is just a three-minute walk away – so convenient! Every night, I was overlooking Chengdu's most bustling area. Stepping out and turning right, there were highly-rated Sichuan restaurants and hotpot places everywhere. What's more, from the front desk to the staff on the first floor, everyone had a wonderful attitude. Every time I returned to the hotel, I was greeted like I was coming home, and they even delivered a late-night snack every evening. As someone who's a bit of a clean freak, I found the hotel to be very clean. Because I hurt my back this time, the front desk immediately arranged for staff to help me set up a floor bed. All in all, I highly recommend Xiyue for anyone coming to Chengdu.

Facilities: Mostly all available
Cleanliness: Tidy
Environment: Clean
Service: Warm

I've stayed at the Chengdu Gaoxin Xiyue Hotel more than once, and each time has been an excellent experience. The hotel's location is superb, making travel very convenient. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, and check-in is efficient with no waiting. The rooms are clean, tidy, and odor-free, with soft and comfortable bedding. The bathroom facilities are complete, and there's plenty of hot water. The environment and hygiene are meticulously maintained, and the soundproofing is great, ensuring a quiet and peaceful stay. Overall, it offers fantastic value for money, with thoughtful service and attention to detail. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next stay. Five-star recommendation to everyone! 👍

The service was excellent. When I requested a memory foam pillow in the middle of the night, they were very quick. The room was newly renovated, and I slept really well. The air conditioning was very powerful.

Hygienics: Visibly clean.

Service: Fantastic.

Facilities: Newly renovated in a Song Dynasty style, very elegant, simple, and refined.

The breakfast congee was good for the stomach. It was very quiet during the weekdays, and while the variety wasn't huge, the food was decent. The honey was delicious and you could even take some with you. It's great to have on hand when traveling, especially if you have a sore throat – a cup can help with dryness and clear your lungs.
