This was my first time staying at this hotel. I chose it because I thought parking would be easy in this area (and it was!). After a two-night stay, I was very satisfied with both the facilities and the service. The location is excellent, and it offers the best value for money in the Meguro area.

Stayed at OMO5 Tokyo Otsuka by Hoshino Resorts and would absolutely stay there again. The location was one of the biggest advantages — it’s literally steps from Otsuka Station on the Yamanote Line, which made getting around Tokyo incredibly easy without paying Shinjuku or Shibuya hotel prices. Otsuka itself ended up being a great surprise: quieter, more relaxed, and less tourist-heavy, but still full of cute cafés, restaurants, and local neighborhood energy. It felt very safe walking back late at night, especially because the hotel is so close to the station.
The hotel had a really cool, modern community vibe that made it feel more interesting than a standard business hotel. The lobby and restaurant space were stylish and lively without being chaotic — there was even a DJ booth and people casually hanging out in the evenings, which gave the whole place a very chill, creative atmosphere. The food looked great, although honestly we kept getting pulled out into the neighborhood to explore local spots instead.
The rooms were very well designed and surprisingly functional. Ours was extremely quiet, which was a huge plus after long days in Tokyo. The loft setup was fun and unique, and the hotel made excellent use of vertical space without feeling cramped. I could especially see families or small groups appreciating the semi-private upstairs sleeping area. It felt like thoughtful Japanese design: compact, efficient, and comfortable.  Laundy room was convenient - perfect to reset in the middle of our trip. 
A few things to know:
* Rooms are compact, as expected in Tokyo, but intelligently laid out.
* This is more of a design-forward, neighborhood-style stay than a luxury hotel experience.
* Otsuka is calmer than Shibuya/Shinjuku nightlife-wise, which ended up being one of the best parts for us.
Overall, an excellent option for travelers who want easy transit access, a more local Tokyo experience, smart design, and a relaxed atmosphere at a much more reasonable price point than the major tourist hubs.
Honestly kind of the perfect “we’re in Tokyo but don’t need to be screamed at by Tokyo 24/7” hotel.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right next to Senso-ji Temple, and there are two Matsumoto Kiyoshi drugstores directly across the street. The hotel thoughtfully provides lanterns and jackets for guests to take up to the 13th-floor rooftop, which offers stunning panoramic views of the Tokyo Skytree. They also have some food and drinks available for purchase, and the prices are quite reasonable. On top of that, the hotel offers various experience activities, which is a fantastic service!

Great location to explore Tokyo as very close to the station and bars and restaurants but still quiet enough for a good nights sleep. Room was small but pefectly fine for a solo traveller. Hotel service was excellent with essentials on hand and added benefit of hotel run tours and evening event

The hotel is close to a main street, making it easy to get to attractions. Public transportation is readily available, and it's near three shopping streets, which is convenient for shopping and dining. There are also many restaurants, coffee shops, sushi places, and Kobe beef restaurants nearby.

The hotel is conveniently located near the station, within a 5-minute walk.

The staff are friendly and polite, and provide detailed explanations!

Free sencha (a type of herbal tea) is available in the lobby on the first floor.

The shop area also offers a variety of local delicacies.

The hotel offers experiential activities; please inquire at the counter.

Overall, it's a relaxing place.

However, the room soundproofing isn't very good.

On a windy day, the wind outside the window was very loud, and I didn't sleep well all night. It would be great if this could be improved.

Because the hotel has to go down one flight of stairs, although there will be staff to help carry things, it is still inconvenient if there are children or elderly people. I live on the 4th floor. When I go out from the elevator, I can see the building opposite from the corridor. Every time I pass by at night, there is always loud chatter and laughter from the building opposite.

The hotel is very new. The mahjong room, though small, has everything you need – it's excellent! The design is stylish and modern, with many thoughtful touches. I'll definitely continue to support this group in the future. Very satisfied, and the location is convenient too.

I stayed here during Golden Week. I was truly surprised by the excellent location, just a few seconds' walk from Bashamichi Station. However, since the hotel occupies floors 46 and up, and there's also an observation deck accessible to the public, the elevator queues can be quite long in the evenings, with often not enough space on a single elevator. All rooms come equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, dishes, refrigerator, and washing machine, so I bought groceries from the adjacent supermarket and cooked my own meals. Actually, it was great to be able to enjoy my favorite foods at my own pace.

I stayed in an OMO House room, which had two regular beds and two sofa beds. The bedding for the sofa beds is kept in the bedroom, so you have to set them up yourself. In the room I stayed in, there was only one set of sofa bed bedding, so I had to call the front desk and have them bring another. There's no phone in the room to call the front desk; you have to go to the elevator lobby. I don't know if this is a cost-cutting measure or a deliberate strategy to discourage calls, but I think it really detracts from guest convenience. Overall, I found it to be a clean facility with an excellent location, and a good place to stay.
