The parking situation is terrible… both underground and outside. If you drive a car, it’s probably ok but you might get annoyed if you have a truck.
The breakfast is great. The hotel is very new and clean.
There were a lot of people loitering in the hallway for extended periods of time and i felt uneasy about this. I feel that hotel staff should have done something to control this.
Every time I approached or called the front desk I was very disappointed with the level of service. I will list a couple of examples…
I saw the sign that said that housekeeping needs to be requested. I was ok with this. But when I called to request the service I was asked to list everything I wanted done. I felt like I was asking a teenager to do a chore and I needed to remember each detail of the room to get the job done. Turns out I forgot to say take the recycling and garbage and I was stuck with a tiny overflowing garbage for an extra day.
Another example … I needed more Kleenex. The box in my room only had a couple tissues and my daughter needed more. The front desk told me to go in the hallway and find a housekeeper to get it myself. This annoyed me because I was not dressed and it’s a hotel. If you need something, don’t you call the front desk and they call the necessary personnel?
I would return to this hotel because the good did outweigh the bad. But I think that if you are in the hospitality industry you need to be hospitable.
