Hotel Astoria, BW Signature Collection

Copenhagen|0.04km from Ristorante Frascati ApS
Old refurbished hotel next to train station, which unfortunately only worked one way for me, because someone directed me to the wrong exit and I had to walk all around to find the hotel.. Leaving was easier. Not hotel's fault. Staff was wonderful, in particular Daniel and Rosa. Room was good-sized and I was right across from Tivoli, my main attraction this trip to Copenhagen. Subway close and city center was nearby. Now, my complaint, and it's big. I had an urgent email and I had to receive a call (my cell is on airplane mode in Europe) and guess what? The hotel has NO PHONES in the room. Fortunately, the staff loaned me a phone to call my Parisian cousin about a train ticket canceled. Otherwise, I was out of luck. Manager next day, friendly, but unbending and said it was not needed, as most guests had cell phones and What's App. Absolutely unacceptable. What if someone had a heart attack or fell in the tub? Needed urgent help. Are we expected to crawl to our phone, which might be charging, somehow get on What's App, while we're dying? I also complained about the few TV channels, and NO English news channel, like CNN, BBC, Sky News. Manager again friendly, but unsympathetic. Said most people didn’t care. Really? Or maybe just didn't say. English is the international travel language and if we don't speak Danish or Swedish, we shouldn't have to depend upon phone apps. Hotels ought to provide these basic services. Especially a phone in each room!

Hotel Tiffany

The standard double room booked is upgraded to a comfortable double room for free, the room is large and the sanitary conditions are good Maybe because the room is in the top corner, the wifi signal is not very good. After reporting to the waiter, I have been actively solving and asking for feedback, and are willing to change the room for us. Although they have tried hard, the signal is still not good, but they can accept it. , Praise their service attitude. Breakfast is delivered to the door of the room, and a newspaper is also provided, which is very considerate, and the breakfast will change a little every day. The hotel is very close to the central station and travel is very convenient.

This hotel is highly recommended. Whether it is from the location of the hotel, quality of service, infrastructure, it is perfect! My mom heard that Ctrip can write reviews, so let me write a good comment. The breakfast is quite rich and picturesque. The room is large, there are a lot of compartments, and the hotel is also quite thoughtful. Only you can't think of it, without them being prepared, I think I should be able to satisfy all kinds of discerning guests. In the winter, you can also have a fireplace. It’s really burning wood. My mom's favorite is the garden next to the hotel. It is free to enter the hotel. It is really super beautiful, all kinds of flowers, various amusement facilities, various restaurants, my mom has to go shopping every night. The hotel is in the center of the city, the traffic is very convenient, just buy something to walk, no need to take a taxi, what brand can be found around it. Maybe its appearance is not so conspicuous, but walking into the hotel will really shock you. I am also a very picky person, this hotel really makes me quite satisfied, strong Amway, very worthy of its price, do not hesitate.

The location was great! Centrally located and close to Tivoli Gardens, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, supermarket and the shopping areas. The Hop On Hop Off bus stops around the block which was great! The shower was very slippery and no USB ports in rooms - bring converters. It would've been helpful to have a mirror above the desk so I could blow dry my hair while the bathroom was in use. No workout facility - you're able to use a facility at another hotel a few minutes away.

Scandic Copenhagen is certainly at the top of the quality you can expect from a hotel. If you are looking for details/nice-to-have: The reception could have been a little more engaged when we had questions. Minibar/fridge in the room would be nice. Poor options for connecting your own media to the TV. Missed the standard fried egg at breakfast. This is details which a lot of hotels don't have, so we didn't expect it. Cleaning must be ordered at reception, which I think is a nice solution - but I would prefered a more digital solution. If we had stayed longer, I would be nice to ”order” towels or laundry/pick up in the hallway.

Having tootled across Denmark for 10 days, I became something of an expert at navigating best value hotels... this one wins hands down. Like, by a country mile! Despite being in a kinda scuzzy neighbourhood, which for some reason is where most cities' primary train stations seem to be located (hotel is about 3mins walk from Copenhagen Central - best to exit station at rear) this place comes with NONE of the slapdash, take-it-or-leave-it, mouldy, threadbare, thin-walled, stinky vibes that one usually finds in hotels in such hoods. The place is spotless...bathroom was immaculate (no tiny little latherless green soaps here, but rather Oriental Lavender bodywashes, if you don't mind!)...the room itself: modern, relatively spacious, hard floors with that ”Scandinavian” Ikea-esque furniture and bedding. Bedside chargers. Cool TVs that let you mirror your phone as Boris Johnson finally resigned. Small fridge. Aircon. Nice towels. ”New-feeling” crisp bedding. And perhaps the best thing, was the overall friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They genuinely seem to all take pride in how they run the operation. You can get laundry done at their nearby sister hotel The Saga (where staff were also really nice). Anyway... enough blathering...I normally only write reviews on here when I'm pissed off with something. It was nice to write some positivity for a change. If it's available at a good rate (and the prices were good) you don't need to look anywhere else. S

The hotel is located near the University of Copenhagen, very close to various attractions, we are walking a day There is a bar across the road, and no noise can be heard in the arranged room Booked 2 rooms at the same time, one on the 2nd floor and the other on the 4th floor. I don’t know how to arrange it. The slope on the fourth floor, the room is very small, the bed is very small, there is a kettle, coffee and premium drinks, no bathtub, dry and wet separated by a curtain, shower water is very small, no hotel breakfast The appearance of the hotel is still very nice, the lobby is ok, the front desk English is good, the attitude is good, the credit card guarantees, the check-out is very fast, I asked if I had any consumption without checking the room, I stayed for two nights, not cheap, but quite satisfied
