Hotel is close enough to Edinburgh's main attractions, you could even get there walking 20-30 minutes from the hotel. Hotel has old facilities and the room has a smell. Also, the toilet wasn't working properly and I had to flush several times to make it work.

Stayed her for three nights October 2022 with the Scotland Rugby League team prior to the Rugby League World Cup. What a great find this hotel was. Spotlessly clean and so very comfortable. Bedrooms roomy and the beds as comfortable as you can get. The food was excellent, and they catered for our every need. The breakfasts were amazing and the service was beyond reproach . Special shout out to our servers Chez, Shannon and the boss Karen. Could not have been better. A massive thank you and a great start to our World Rugby League Cup campaign . Defo use this hotel again.

I booked a a night within the hotel on Halloween as we had booked a walking ghost tour within the city. It was a bit of a walk down to the Royal mile taking about 25 mins but as it was dry it was ok. The hotel was fantastic, the reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The entrance lobby was warm and clean, very inviting. All of the corridors were very well maintained, clean and beautifully decorated. Our room was very spacious with a queen sized bed, seating area and a good sized bathroom. The room again was nicely decorated and well equipped. Due to the restrictions the hotel restaurant was closed but we were allowed to order food into the hotel and the receptionist even pointed us in the direction of local shops. I would recommend the hotel and will most probably stay again.

Very positive experience. Check in was smooth, location was excellent, supermarket right downstairs, near to touristy spots, room was comfy size and decent. However floor doesn't seem to be cleaned up on every housekeeping session.

Stayed here for two nights over the bank holiday weekend in August 2022. I'm guessing the price was high because of the fringe and it being a bank holiday weekend. The hotel was bright and breezy. no tea making facilities in the room. No hair dryer, limited storage, no draws. There was tea making facilities in the reception that were free and always available. Breakfast at the hotel was continental and £7.50 each. Quite reasonable for the offering of cereal, pastries, yoghurts, juice, ham and cheeses. Nice location opposite the tram station.

Hotel was clean and Quiet.Reception staff friendly and helpful Easy access to city via buses. Sea food restaurants nearby. Hotels breakfast was good except scrambled egg not to my taste.(Dry) Toilet in the room no toilet brush. Bar did not have bloody Mary.Was a bit disappointing.! Stayed overnight at the Leonardo Hotel as we were hosting friends visiting from Pensilvania USA and all I can say is it was outstanding! From check in, special mention to Steve the Concierge (who diligently stored our bags and offered advice) to the welcome complimentary glass of Prosecco all of the staff were tentative and exceptionally friendly! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the restaurant for breakfast outstanding. All in all fantastic value for money and we would definitely recommend it!
